We were looking to replace the mattress on a wooden futon that we use as a sofa and guest bed, and Bedworks not only had a fantastic selection at unexpectedly low prices, but they also avoided the biggest pitfall of furniture stores everywhere, which is the pushy hard sell. They were knowledgeable and helpful, and let us spend all the time we needed going from one couch to another trying out the mattresses without bugging or pressuring us. And instead of recommending the slightly expensive delivery option, they convinced us that we could fit our new mattress into the backseat of our little Honda, which meant that we could start using our gorgeous new mattress days sooner than I thought we would. The futon covers and throw pillows they sell are lovely but expensive, and the cover we bought ended up costing almost half as much as the mattress itself. But I felt like the quality and service were worth it.

I called Restorers without Borders and they explained to me the process. They will come to the house, do the estimate and take the piece. There's a charge for this of course and I understood this. This charge is applied towards any work you do, and I knew I was going to get this piece repaired so I accepted this. They came to the house and described exactly what they could do and offered me several options on fixing the other flaws in the piece. While I was arguing with the delivery company on coverage, RWB held my piece for several weeks in their shop. I gave them the go ahead to do the work after a few weeks, and I have to say, good things come to those who wait. They delivered my piece yesterday and I have to say, it looks better than ever, and they even fixed a bunch of other issues with the table free of charge! They exceeded my expectations. They did a fantastic job, I honestly cannot even believe how they matched the finish and wood inlays of a piece of furniture that is 80+ years old. They aren't the cheapest, but for things that carry enormous sentimental value, who cares. If you have furniture you really care about, these are the guys you should use. They have been very honest and up front from the beginning. The guys that actually do the work come out to look at your furniture and they are the ones delivering it. So they really care on how careful they are with the delivery and handling of your furniture. I'm sure they aren't the cheapest, and they are probably aren't the fastest. This was how I learned about the store and I fell in love with the furniture. Over the years I have bought most of the furniture that is in my home from BoConcept. It's beautiful furniture, modern, but at the same time inviting, comfortable and pretty. I think the last time I bought some thing at the store was about three years ago, and my furniture has always worn very well. I had a problem with one of the furniture pieces that I had purchased three years ago and I called the store to let them know. I think my experience with customer service is that it's not usually good when I called places, so I felt a little bit nervous calling. I can't even tell you how helpful Louis was, and how much better I felt after speaking with him. They are repairing the flaw to my furniture piece, and I could not be more impressed with the incredible customer service that I got. In an age of lacking Customer Service, BoConcept was the opposite. They were helpful, understanding and kind. I would highly recommend this company as well as the store. You will not be disappointed.

I waited months for a furniture purchase while delivery dates were missed multiple times, with delays disclosed only after I repeatedly chased the store for updates. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!
