Fifty bales of pine straw were ordered, delivered, and laid, and the service personnel completed this part of the process satisfactorily. But the office personnel regarding follow-up for additional pine straw? Very poor: I have phoned, e-mailed, texted, and even used the on-line order form. No response, it's as if the company has evaporated. Fortunately, pine straw is an undifferentiated commodity, and I will be able go elsewhere to complete the job. read more

I wish I could give 0 star.. why didn't I come to yelp and read the reviews first?? The lady who works here has the worst customer service. It almost sounds like she probably has another pinstraw company elsewhere and she wants this company to go down the hill. I ordered 25 bags of mulch .. only 15 got delivered. She claimed the delivered people confirmed they dropped off 25. Finally says sorry when I present my ring doorbell pics with only 15 bags. Promises they'll deliver the rest next day. 2 days have passed... wrote them email again... and heard nothing. I guess I am calling my credit card company for charge back. read more

This is the first time using Atlanta Pine Straw. They told me they would be delivered today but couldn't pinpoint the time. I just looked out the window and saw that they placed it on my turnaround drive so that we can't use it now. No one came to the door to ask me where I want it. When I called the office, the lady that answered the phone said everyone wants it there or by the basketball goal. Well I didn't. She was rude and said they don't ever knock they just place it where they want. Who does business like that? I won't be using them again. I ordered 30 bales of pinestraws. They delivered 28. I left two messages to them about the issue and I got no return calls. Finally got someone on the phone, discussed the issue and said they will deliver two more. I waited a couple days and saw nothing delivered at my address. When I called them again, the receptionist claimed that they delivered and that there is nothing else they can do for me. This company is a crook. They just lost my business every year from now on over two bales worth 7 bucks. They can shove that 7 buck up their asses. They have the worst customer service and they're a bunch of liars. read more

Our neighborhood HOA selected this company as the straw provider for our residents. We have over 600 homes that had the option to have delivered or installed. Many residents that paid to have them install were disappointed in the lack of coverage and the need to purchase more bales to complete the job. I bought 100 bales to install myself. The bales seem smaller than normal bales I have bought elsewhere. Many bales had leaves in them and didn't appear to be good quality straw. If you are part of an HOA that offers bulk pine straw drives, advise the organizer to not include this company in their bid process. Very disappointed and there are no attempts from them to correct the issues so many residents have complained about. read more

Was a new homeowner and let these folks know that I didn't not know how many bales i would need and happy to point out where they needed to place the bails. The manager told me that she would ensure the area was covered and we would pay for the difference. Didn't complete the project or was willing to send folks back out to finish the job at the same rate (btw, the "bargain" rate was not the least expensive either). Was open to options, but I only heard excuses about other experiences. Will encourage the neighborhood to rethink this group. read more

I gave them my square footage for pine straw and had them spread it. It is perfect and the guys did the best job of any landscaper I've had. I also got small pine nuggets. They did a wonderful job filling in the barest places and putting a top coat on the rest. Then the guys blew the driveway and walkways clean. The woman in the office was pleasant and seemed to know her stuff. I highly recommend them. read more

I called on Friday morning to find out pricing and availability for delivery & install for 90 bales of pine straw, I spoke with Deana. I wanted to discuss with my husband the cost & time of install, I told Deana I would call back in about a half hour. When I called back I got her voice mail, I left two messages that afternoon, never heard back. Called again Monday morning spoke with Deana again and let her know I spoke with her on Friday and asked do you remember speaking with me I was told "nope I talk to a lot of people". I hung up and decided Atlanta Pine Straw would not be for me if they have people like Deana representing their company. Deana you're extremely RUDE and you really do need to learn some manners and proper phone etiquette. read more

Atlanta Pine Straw is the most professional company I have dealt with.They have wonderful employees and there delivery and installation is second to none. Be very careful when looking for a pine straw supplier. There are some very shady so called companies out there, and all bales are not he same!! read more

The turnaround was prompt, their pricing competitive, the team were efficient and courteous and they did a very professional job. This was a terrible encounter. I was quoted a price for my HOA. Went through the process of having everything approved and then when I called to place the order was denied because a different person answered the phone and said they couldn't guarantee the pinestraw would be there. I told them it was over 3 weeks away that I would be picking it up, wouldn't they just order it. They said that they do not order it. WHY DID THEY QUOTE ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. This is bad business. I have stopped by here several times in the past few weeks. Each time I'm greeted by a sign on the door that says they are out of pine straw. The name of the comps is ATLANTA PINE STRAW!!! I'm looking at a trailer full of pine straw, yet I can't get any. These guys suck. Poor business practices. read more

While they give you the impression of caring whether or not you are satisfied with their job, they really don't care. If you do decide to use them.... I recommend, I strongly recommend that you count the bales of pine straw as they unload them from the truck! read more

Atlanta pine straw dug trenches in our pine beds prior to distributing the pine straw. The guys flung mud over every single window in our home, the siding all the way to the roof line. This is an extremely unprofessional group that make the claim of being landscapers. You get what you pay for. read more
