And they have a huge selection of whiskey. Looks like a nice place for dinner. Although we didn't eat actual dinner. I think some people ordered some food and enjoyed it. Service was prompt and friendly. I would go back and have dinner there if I was in the area. We had a large group and they had no problem squeezing us all in and not all of us eating, it was a little bit later after the dinner grow up

Very clean & vibey spot; the decor is very cute and cozy, they dim the lights after a certain time I'm assuming, loved it. Definitely have to come back and try other items out. Here's what we ordered: * braised short ribs - strong 7/8, i didn't like the veggies as much but flavor wise, very yummy. * honey roasted chicken - oouuu, a very strong 8/9, the sauce was amazing; veggies, everything was sooooo yum. * Caesar salad - strong 7/8 (wish it was more but we did split 1 just to try it out first) * Mac & cheese - the only item we did not like 1 bit. Dry, cold and no flavor :( * sweet & spicy Brussels - strong 8/9, they weren't spicy at all but the sauce was yummy! * drinks - GREAT! Strong 8/9 for both 1) cherry limeaid (no alcohol) 2) obsession (with alcohol) Great experience, Destiny was really great. She went over tonight's specials but we had already make up our minds on what we wanted, very kind and attentive lady.

But when I left, I noticed they then had valet. So not sure if you will have to pay or not to park there. Upon walking in, I loved the decor outside. It allowed me to start getting into my French frame of mind. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted and seated. But they did asked if I had a reservation, so I would recommend getting one for higher volume times. I sat at a table where I had a great waitress and beautiful paintings near me. I ordered French onion soup, a kid royal cocktail and it came with some bread. The soup was delicious! I would recommend going here!

Definitely could use an interior update. On the other hand, food was quite good from the rolls, salads, entrees, and desserts. Beef Wellington was out of this world cooked to a perfect medium rare, it just melted in your mouth. Grilled Salmon was good but not anything to brag about. The sides of asparagus, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rice were decent but again, nothing special to brag about. Presentation was a bit disappointing for such an upscale type restaurant. Service was good but lacked warmth and friendliness. Definitely worth going to for the Beef Wellington and Baked Alaska. Would love to try their Chicken Cordon Bleu sometime. 3 Stars due to aged interior. Food is a 4-4.5 star!

The mussels are always fresh, although their size can vary, sometimes they're large, and other times they're quite small. They used to allow parking in the back, but now it's valet or street parking only. The valet service is complimentary, you just tip the valet attendant, and they accept Venmo. My boyfriend enjoys their beer selection. I've had consistently good experiences with the food menu, but I find the mocktails to be just average. They tend to be more fizzy and soda-like than flavorful. I imagine their cocktails and wine are probably a better choice. They used to have complimentary bread. Now the bread is a menu item. The outdoor seating is very nice, although it can get a little hot during the summer. They have both ceiling fans and standing fans to help keep things comfortable. The only downside is the number of flies. We constantly had to wave them away from our food. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only minor issue happened at the end of our meal. We ordered a large dessert and asked if they happened to have chocolate ice cream. The server said he would check with the kitchen. However, before coming back to confirm, he brought us the chocolate ice cream as if we had already ordered it. Since it was already served, we didn't feel comfortable sending it back, and ice cream isn't exactly something you can take home. We ended up eating it even though we were already very full. Aside from that small misunderstanding, we had a great experience. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and it's a restaurant I would definitely recommend.

Cafe Alsace is one such discovery that belongs on the radar of those in the know. Having been around since 1997 and founded by a French immigrant, Benedicte Cooper, this is one of the more unique establishments focused on specific cuisine of Alsace region. Spectacular liver pate. Incredible Flammekueche flatbread. Ridiculously inexpensive selection of great wines, up charged at 1.5x retail. I mean, where does one find deals like that in today's market? The patio has a couple pleasantly setup tables. Sadly, as with most Atlanta patios, it is next to the relatively busy road, but it is what it is. With all this said, Cafe Alsace is a real winner when it comes to a casual French meal.

As many restaurants do for Valentine's Day, they offered a prix fixe menu including a starter (wonderful chestnut soup), main (we chose a savory crepe with sautéed chicken), and dessert (a light raspberry puff pastry). Each course was delicious and accented by additional Valentine's touches (see photos). I'm not an expert on French cuisine but I can say the food is reminiscent of meals I've enjoyed traveling in France. Service was on point and we were well taken care of throughout the night with each course arriving in a timely manner. Note they do not have parking or valet, so if you make a reservation allow time to find a parking spot in downtown Decatur (some of the public garages are quite pricey so a short walk is worthwhile). Cafe Alsace offers a delicious meal in a romantic setting, so give them a try if you want a can't-miss date night.

Our table had 5 ppl. This was the first day they put this new menu out. I'll be honest we weren't really fans of the food. The shrimp and grits had a full layer of a sharp cheese on top, which was just way too much we all thought. I love me some cheese in my grits too but that was just overkill because it's also cheese throughout the grits. Also the ribeye? Both my friend and I didn't like ours and we love us a ribeye. It didn't even taste like a ribeye, more like top sirloin or NY strip. The Juice? Yuck. I make my juices at home and no additives and it still doesn't taste nasty like this one lol Shrimp & Grits (it's the cheese, remove some and we have a deal, I enjoyed the shrimp and I hate shrimp) Ribeye?
