Absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guy was amazing. The training was amazing. I felt like a pro riding around the town on the Segway. Another unforgivable moment in Atlanta for me. This tour takes you to a lot of places in Midtown that I would've never seen before but now I want to experience these places as well. I've never been to Piedmont Park and I will be going back to visit. But the tour guy was amazing. He knew a lot on the tour and I will say he knew all of our names. It's hard to learn one person's name, but having to learn that seven people that were on the tour and being correct every time it was impressive. They give you a helmet and teach you from the beginning how to ride, slow down, come to fast stop so you are comfortable before you even start the tour. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. This is my first and only negative review. It takes a lot for me to do this. We had a very disappointing experience with this company. Our group of four booked a Segway tour weeks in advance and arrived as scheduled, only to be told upon arrival that the tour could not proceed because their tour guide was unavailable that day. We were informed that they had attempted to notify us the day prior, while we were in transit, but no meaningful effort was made to ensure we actually received that message. A voicemail was left while in transit that only gave the name of the person to call back. We did respond message the company back but no message of details was sent to us. There was no information given us that the tour had been cancelled and there was no effort by the company to call us back this morning to indicate the tour was canceled. Instead this company allowed us to show up. When we showed up this morning, the office was dead quiet. The one staff easily could've contacted us before we arrived, to have allowed us to make alternate plans. As a result, we showed up expecting a confirmed booking. While an apology and refund were offered, that is the minimum one would expect in this situation. There was no attempt to find a replacement guide or propose an alternative solution, despite the significant inconvenience caused. What was most concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. As we calmly discussed next steps among ourselves, we were unexpectedly told that we were making the staff member, Sammi, "uncomfortable". Despite the fact that even though we were highly disappointed we remained polite and measured. We were then asked to leave, and the door was locked behind us, which felt offensive as well as entirely unwarranted given our demeanor. She should've called us that morning and if anything that would possibly be why she was uncomfortable because of her own mistake. Our disappointment was warranted and we were not in any way aggressive, moreover never have any of us been called that. It's preposterous that her mistake, resulting in our disappointment and regrouping could be attributed with making her uncomfortable. She could have a higher tolerance for customers and customer service vs blaming validly disappointed customers for frustration which she caused. We are reasonable, respectful customers and simply expected clear communication and a basic level of customer service. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated here. I would not recommend relying on this business if your plans depend on them. read more

Originally I saw a Groupon for Atl Cruzers but I noticed on their website the price was cheaper and they had an option for an Eastside Atlanta Tour so my husband and I decided to select this option and go for our wedding anniversary. Jeremy was our tour guide and he was great! We didn't learn a whole lot since we both live in Atlanta but it was a great experience to tour Oakland Cemetery, Inman Park, MLK National Site, the Beltline and a few other sites. Very fun experience. This is my wife and I second segway tour, the first was in San Diego. This Atlanta tour was a hit! We brought our family and told them it would he fun. Just to start, everything CK said would happen in the video happened to our group; someone bumped into the other person's machine, one almost fell and the other actually fell off being distracted by some passengers crashing on scooter bikes . We rode with Mira and she was great! She has so much passion for Atlanta and its history. I definitely recommend her anytime for a tour. Highly recommend! I booked this tour with my husband and 2 teenage boys-we had an absolute blast! The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge, kept the tour moving and fun. She briefed us on the use of the Segways and give everyone a few minutes to practice before we departed. Mira was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods in Atlanta and historical landmarks. She was super friendly and personable like a true Southern belle. I wished the tour would have been available on Mondays. Loved my Segway tour of midtown Atlanta! I'd never been on a Segway before and was a little apprehensive, but the training we did beforehand helped me feel comfortable enough to go zipping around a busy city like Atlanta. By the end of the tour, I was expertly zooming on the sidewalks and gliding over bumps like a pro! I lucked out the day I went because the weather was perfect--not too hot or too cold and sunny. There was only one other person besides myself, so we had a very personalized tour, and the guide (CJ? CK?) was funny and awesome. I wish I had done the tour earlier during my trip because the tour guide pointed out great places to eat and things to do. This experience now makes me want to do Segway tours in other cities! The nice thing about a Segway tour is that you can get around faster than just walking and therefore see more, and it's more interactive than sitting on a bus. Great tour lead by Lindsay. She is native to Georgia and you can tell she really knows her history of the city. Explored different parts of the neighborhood old and new. Got to see an interesting mix of modern architectures and beautiful historical mansions. Learned about the civil rights movement, Dr kings home and how the city has evolved. Great way to see the city in a 5 seater electric car and an introduction to the area. The experience felt very intimate and personalized. If you walk an extra block down you can find plenty of parking lots that are $10 per day if you plan to stay a little bit after the tour. World of Coca Cola, aquarium and Olympic park are all within walking distance. read more

I did the Electric Car Tour of Atlanta. It was OK. They don't do pickups from midtown so I uber'd to the address provided on my email confirmation, "160 Spring St NW, ATL" Didn't see anything resembling a tour location so I checked my confirmation email to follow additional instructions. "We are located in the DoubleTree hotel (WE ARE DIRECTLY BEHIND THE WESTIN HOTEL)." LIES. It wasn't until I circled around the Westin and had asked some valets at the DoubleTree I found the location. The location is small, nothing much there except for a few chairs. It would have been awesome if there was some Atlanta souvenirs to browse/purchase. $30 for a 90 minute "cruise" in an electric golf cart that can seat up to 5 people. I guess we drove by the "main spots". CNN building, Olympic location, Coke museum/Georgia Aquariam. Pretty much the same spots you see when uber'ing from downtown to midtown. A highlight was driving past and seeing from a far distance where Martin Luther King is buried. We didn't even drive near the state capitol?!?!? or talk/see much of the local food scene. I'd highly recommend stopping at a few key locations to make the tour more interactive. My guide was ok. He was like a history teacher, reciting all these dates and names while we drove around. I guess that's the value add from just uberpooling around the ATL to see the city. Not bad. read more

Myself, 2 older kids (10 & 12), and parents went on the electric car tour in August 2017. My spouse booked the tour to include my 6 year old, not noticing that kids under 8 are not allowed due to safety regulations/law. When we realized the error upon arrival, they were very nice and refunded one child and one adult so my spouse could go do something else with our 6 year old. I think it was the right thing to do the refund, as it wasn't crystal clear on the website. It was nice to not debate it. They offered it. Eliza was our tour guide. She took us around downtown, midtown, Old 4th Ward, and Inman Park. The tour was full of facts that both tourists and locals likely do not know. The tour lasts 90 minutes, and is definitely worth the price that we paid. We live in Atlanta, but learned tons of things we never knew. Both historical facts and some local trivia, like the Varsity sells over 2 miles of hot dogs a day and over 3 billion gallons of soda per year. Definitely recommend. Only reason we did not give it a 5 was because it didn't blow everyone away. Definitely book well ahead of time as it often fills up. read more

I did the electric car tour, and I absolutely loved it. This is a great head start to any stay in Atlanta. I'd recommend grabbing some breakfast and then doing the 10 am tour, which would give you plenty of time to see a museum afterward (Center for Civil Rights - also amazing, Coke museum, etc). While this obviously stops at the big hitters (MLK's house, Sweet Auburn, etc.), it also gives you a taste of what residential life is like in the heart of Atlanta. For instance, you learn that the Inman Park area is so gorgeous (and expensive!), and practically no one lives in the official downtown area. It talks a good bit about the Civil Rights as well. This tour is overall very well-orchestrated/organized. Our tour guide, Sammy, was absolutely amazing. She knew her talking points, but at the same time she was fluid and flexible, not sounding like she was sticking to a script. She was extremely engaging, funny, and cheerful. I started the tour groggy after 4 hours straight of business meetings, but I felt so chipper at the close of the tour. 10/10, and ask for Sammy if you can swing it! read more

A Segway tour is the best way to see Atlanta on a beautiful day! Our tour of midtown with Laura was great. They provide good training on how to use the Segway and you cover a lot of ground in a couple hours. Lots of Atlanta info and great suggestions for food. Laura was a saint- I struggled with some nerves using the Segway and she was so kind and patient the whole time. Tips: Wear flat, very comfortable, very sturdy shoes. Great way to learn about GA history. We took the electric car tour with Sammy. We learned a lot and enjoyed the tour. We parked for $15 1 block away at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel. They also have nice, clean bathrooms you can use before the tour there or at the tour check in. The hotel also has hot tea & coffee which we grabbed as we paid for our parking pass. The parking is good until 6 pm. read more

We enjoyed our east Atlanta segway tour seeing downtown and some of the historic neighborhoods, MLK NHP, and Oakland Cemetery. Our tour guide Jeremy along with C.K. was great with plenty of patient rider training and orientation to start. Jeremy was very knowledgable about the history and culture of the area. We are long time residents but still learned from him. It was a fun way for two couples to celebrate a birthday. One person in the tour of eight struggled to stay up on the machine but Jeremy was very helpful and patient.
