The tour was great! Our guide was engaging, told fun stories, and kept us chatting as we were going from one place to another. She also sprinkled in a few general city recommendations, which I appreciated since I'm only visiting for the weekend. She also brought a couple of EMF readers with her and we had some fun with those. I signed up on a whim, 30min before the tour started, and this really hit the spot. The walking was not very strenuous and we kept a good pace. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that I'm comparing it to a couple of pretty incredible ghost tours I've had in other cities. Definitely recommend as a fun weekend evening activity.

Love a good walking tour, this city has such interesting architecture. Our tour guide was a sweetheart, very bubbly and full of info. Accurate? I don't know. Kinda all over the place. We had picked this one because the video trailer online seemed awesome, but one of the most famous buildings, the Ellis, she didn't know anything about. Just wasn't spooky. Enjoyed the walk, and I got a few good pics. At closer view, some of them might possibly be ghostly? I've done better ones, but it had its merits.

Visiting from Cali for a wedding. Had some extra time to do touristy things with the bff. Etta was our tour guide. She was very engaging with the group and highly knowledgeable about the different sightings we stopped at. It's about a mile walk around the neighboring streets. Put on some comfy shoes, bring plenty of water and your listening ears. Ask questions and take photos. Video recording is not permitted during tour. Some very creepy stories about reported sightings of the deceased that'll give you chills.

I flew in from New York. My daughter and I took the extended tour with Shelly. She was knowledgeable, personable and had a vibrant personality. She made us tourists feel safe walking in a busy city at night. Request her and you won't be disappointed!

This tour takes you to a lot of places in Midtown that I would've never seen before but now I want to experience these places as well. I've never been to Piedmont Park and I will be going back to visit. But the tour guy was amazing. He knew a lot on the tour and I will say he knew all of our names. It's hard to learn one person's name, but having to learn that seven people that were on the tour and being correct every time it was impressive. They give you a helmet and teach you from the beginning how to ride, slow down, come to fast stop so you are comfortable before you even start the tour. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend you take this tour if you're ever in Atlanta.

This is my first and only negative review. It takes a lot for me to do this. We had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this company. Our group of four booked a Segway tour weeks in advance and arrived as scheduled, only to be told upon arrival that the tour could not proceed because their tour guide was unavailable that day. We were informed that they had attempted to notify us the day prior, while we were in transit, but no meaningful effort was made to ensure we actually received that message. A voicemail was left while in transit that only gave the name of the person to call back. We did respond message the company back but no message of details was sent to us. There was no information given us that the tour had been cancelled and there was no effort by the company to call us back this morning to indicate the tour was canceled. Instead this company allowed us to show up. When we showed up this morning, the office was dead quiet. The one staff easily could've contacted us before we arrived, to have allowed us to make alternate plans. As a result, we showed up expecting a confirmed booking. While an apology and refund were offered, that is the minimum one would expect in this situation. There was no attempt to find a replacement guide or propose an alternative solution, despite the significant inconvenience caused. What was most concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. As we calmly discussed next steps among ourselves, we were unexpectedly told that we were making the staff member, Sammi, "uncomfortable". Despite the fact that even though we were highly disappointed we remained polite and measured. We were then asked to leave, and the door was locked behind us, which felt offensive as well as entirely unwarranted given our demeanor. She should've called us that morning and if anything that would possibly be why she was uncomfortable because of her own mistake. Our disappointment was warranted and we were not in any way aggressive, moreover never have any of us been called that. It's preposterous that her mistake, resulting in our disappointment and regrouping could be attributed with making her uncomfortable. She could have a higher tolerance for customers and customer service vs blaming validly disappointed customers for frustration which she caused. We are reasonable, respectful customers and simply expected clear communication and a basic level of customer service. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated here. I would not recommend relying on this business if your plans depend on them.

So, when I started working for SCAD and learned they were in the process of restoring and preserving the old Mansion Restaurant at Ponce & Piedmont, I was really excited. If you haven't had a chance to see the space since its transformation, please feel free to email me and I'd be happy to set up a free tour. lmoody@scad.edu. Truly the restoration of this historic landmark is a gift to our community. This Queen Anne Victorian house was built in 1883 by the Peters family--one of the founding families of our city. Know Peters street in Castleberry? Yep that's the same folks. They originally owned 400 acres from Briarcliff and Ponce all the way beyond where GA Tech now stands. In fact, the family donated the land that the campus was original built upon. They also donated the land for Morris Brown and the first baseball field for the Atlantans. The home is filled with beautiful detail. This is no cookie cutter McMansion. Every room is filled with unique features. The college will use the space for its Professional Writing program and will bring scholars, authors and journalists to speak and give workshops--many that will be open to the public. Visit the website often to see the free events coming up. In the Spring expect outdoor concerts in the lovely gardens. The home will be available for rentals for corporate meetings and the like.
