What a unique experience! My boyfriend got this as a surprise for me, a helicopter ride to Atlanta and back. It's a 25 minute ride, and thankfully the weather was cooperative. Our pilot was nice, and we felt very comfortable with him at the helm. We saw some beautiful views of Atlanta. Neither of us had ever been in a helicopter before so it was just a really cool different experience. If you have the money, you can actually rent one of their jets for $10,000 an hour. He said it has enough fuel to take you to Europe on one tank. I'm wondering who can afford that but it sounds pretty amazing. I think if you're looking for something different to do and to see Atlanta from a different vantage point, this is your place. Thank you Prestige! read more

This was a birthday gift for my husband. I must say we were a bit nervous but Martin made sure to explain everything in detail to ease our anxiety. Seeing Atlanta from this view was absolutely breathtaking. The Signature airport staff were welcoming upon arrival and made us feel like home. I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Prestige Helicopter Tours, Andy, and Mitch for a wonderful first experience. This was a marriage proposal that that ran into a bump on our part. Andy stepped in and filled the role that another was supposed to do but could not because of traffic. I was blown away to return and see everything that I had initially planned was in place. Andy.....THANK YOU...... THANK YOU...... THANK YOU!!!!!!!! The details and compassion were appreciated! We did a couple of the tours together, used the red carpet, the banner and I added some roses as a pathway and Andy helped me pull this off!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!! read more

I bought this helicopter tour as a Christmas gift for my husband and my daughter to have a "daddy/daughter" date. They said it was unforgettable! They flew right at sunset, so the views were amazing! The website is logical and the booking process was very easy. Their pricing is standard in comparison to similar tours, but they had much better availability and the dates shown during booking are real-time.The check-in process was smooth. They did a great job of staying on schedule. Their pilot was Mitchell, who was very informative and pointed out the major landmarks well for them. The helicopter was very nice and clean. I am very pleased with this tour purchase and I highly recommend Prestige! read more

Highly recommend for one of the most exciting experiences you could gift. My siggy other mentioned he'd always wanted to learn to fly a helicopter, so for his birthday I purchased a discovery flight. It was thirty minutes on the ground of instrument instruction and discussion then one hour of flight (where he had the controls most of the time during flight) around some interesting Atlanta landmarks, including downtown, Braves stadium, and Stone Mountain. He had a GREAT time and said it was one of the BEST gifts he'd ever received. The instructor for this flight, Carlos, was very approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. read more

I surprised my Partner with this amazing helicopter ride for our 7 year anniversary. We had an amazing experience! Our pilot, Mitchell, was wonderful! We had an incredible 30 minute flight over Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead, Atlanta. Mitchell ensured we were all safe and provided great context on what to expect during our flight. The champagne was a very nice touch and Mitchell even hovered over some of our favorite parts of the Atlanta skyline for pictures and videos. I highly recommend this unique experience! read more

We had an awesome tour! The booking process was seamless, it was to find, and the ride was very cool! Our tour guide was very kind and had a lot of Atlanta/Stone Mountain knowledge to share. My husband was super excited for his birthday present! I chose Prestige over the competitors as it was a better deal for the money -- some of the other competitors charged the same price for a 15 min ride that Prestige charges for 45 minutes. I will definitely be recommending Prestige to our local friends! read more

I decided to do my proposal through this helicopter company on Aug. 1st of this year. I was in constant contact with one of the owners (Andy) from late June all the way up to my engagement date. He reassured me that everything was going to go as planned. It definitely didn't. I paid for a whole hr to be blocked off to do our helicopter ride, set up for the surprise proposal and engagement pictures to be all done within that time. When me and my future fiancée arrived at the Signature building (on time), I didn't see our pilot until 20-25 mins after we've been there. I've already called Andy to see where was the miscommunication at. I didn't get a response back and I left a voicemail. The pilot walks in and tells me that there's still another party in front of us. He apologized and tried to offer us complimentary champagne. At this point I can care less for champagne because I felt disrespected. The pilot takes the other party up and I'm trying to kool back down and stay in character. Now it's our turn to do our "helicopter tour." When we were walking up to the helicopter and my put future fiancée inside first, I had a brief minute to apologize to the pilot and just let him know my side of things and told him this was suppose to be a proposal, the pilot didn't even know anything about it. Now I'm head like this is crazy because I've been planning this for weeks and Andy told me that this wasn't going to be a problem and yet it is. The pilot got on his phone, made a call to whoever and came back to me to say I was going to be reimbursed some money for my trouble (That never happened). We're finally on the tour, did a quick loop around in the air and I did my proposal. She said yes but now we're playing catch-up. I'm paying for a party bus, a photographer and private dining at a restaurant and a venue all for that night and this has put us all behind. I received a missed call/voicemail from Andy on that following Monday to see if I wanted our video from the tour. Not a call to see if everything went as planned or to say sorry I missed your call, nothing of the sorts. I've came to the conclusion that they don't care about you. They just want your money. I recommend finding another helicopter company in Atlanta. read more

My experience here was just "okay"... given I spent $300 and some change for the Queen and King Tour. My partner and I arrived on time for our flight. Note, I did add the souvenir onto the package, because I was celebrating my partners 30th birthday. We arrived, shortly after, we met with our pilot "Sandro" and proceeded towards the helicopter. As we were getting on the helicopter, NO SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS nor PROTOCOLS were given. Granted, the ride was about 10-15 minutes give or take... but for "first time helicopter flyers" I feel that's extremely vital information for us to know. Our pilot, Sandro, acted and looked as if he'd rather NOT be there. As we get settled in, ready for take off, (literally) we noticed our camera isn't turned on until five minutes of us being in the air..... Sandro had to repeatedly turn the camera on.. as if it wasn't charged. When asking him certain questions, inquiring about helicopters and flying, it was as if we were "annoying" him... Honestly, our first time wasn't the best... and the experience (for the amount of money I spent) felt like it was a waste.. Fast Forward to today 8/19/24 (10 days after our ride) 8/9/24 Andy reaches out to me and informs me that the pilot supposedly "lost" the footage and or the camera recorder was apparently dying and needed batteries. I truly truly do not like leaving negative reviews.... but the fact that I spent $250 plus $80 for the video souvenir.. only for the experience to be terrible and now we can't even savior the moment because of a misstep on the Pilots part is unacceptable. ***Andy did offer me a $80 refund (which is what I paid for the video recording) but I am not happy... at all.*** I understand things happen... but for the amount spent and the negligence on the pilot I find it hard to forgive this. If you do book with this place; please do not book after 8:00pm. OH AND: I was called a few days before to ask if I could change my time to 9:00pm instead of originally booked time @ 8:30 as originally planned because they were double booked.. Unacceptable read more

I made a booking for a flight with this company at the very last minute as a surprise for my fiancés birthday, and I was shocked that I was even able to make the reservation! Unfortunately, there were some strict time constraints on my part that hindered my flexibility, and so we sadly weren't able to go through with the reservation, but man they went out of their way to try and make it work for us on a moments notice! They were kind, professional and responsive, and offered a full refund before I could even ask! I will definitely be booking with them very soon, as I'm sure the experience will be well worth it, just based off of the customer service alone! I Can't wait! read more

The listed owner of Prestige Helicopters, with whom I was scheduled to complete both ground and flight instruction, never showed for our scheduled and confirmed appointment. 30 minutes after our scheduled ground lesson time passed, an employee called to tell me the helicopter was unavailable due to a maintenance issue. No worries -- I appreciate good maintenance. However, the owner never attempted to call, apologize, reschedule -- just blew off our confirmed ground lesson with zero follow up. With nearly 6,000 hours of flying during the past 40-years, I'm an experienced consumer of flight instruction services. And while the Presige owner, in his Yelp introduction, invites people to "think of the professionals at Prestige", being late or missing a scheduled client meeting is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. No comment is offered on flying competency or aircraft maintenance -- only an absence of professionalism in my experience. read more

My boyfriend and I took a helicopter ride with prestige and Bryan was out pilot. We had so much fun! A helicopter ride is an exciting experience in itself, but Bryan made it so much more enjoyable! Our reservation was for 7:00 for a 45 minute trip. We ended up waiting about an hour or so for the storm to pass. I didn't mind at all because this meant we were going to be in the air closer to golden hour! My favorite time of the day!!! We loved Bryan's sense of humor and he was very knowledgeable about the buildings and history of the area! We especially appreciated his timing on turning his headset to hear us on and off at certain points so it felt that much more personal for us as riders! Overall, we had an amazing time and it really was an incredible experience. Seeing the area from an aerial view was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you so much Bryan! read more

My wife and I booked the Ultimate Tour Package for our anniversary. Our pilot, JG, met us in the terminal as soon as we arrived. He was courteous, friendly, offered complimentary refreshments, and then took the time to explain the aircraft and flight routine to us. Once airborne, the flight was very smooth and JG did a great job making sure we were comfortable, narrating the scenery, and answering any questions we had. We were able to get much closer to some of the landmarks than I thought we would, which made for great photo opportunities. This was an amazing and brand new way to see Atlanta and we highly recommend Prestige Helicopters. Book a flight, you won't regret it. read more

Groupon made this Christmas present happen and it was awesome!!! I highly recommend prestige helicopters after this amazing experience. I chose the king queen and buckhead tour for three for 4 pm. (I was hesitant at first because I have screwed by groupon before on a trip to S Carolina -the hotel was oversold and although it got worked out in the end I had to be flexible to pay out of pocket costs to cover the differences in rates, change hotels etc so beware of using Groupon for travel) ANYWAY! back to prestige. when I called in to make the initial appt there were no issues... No blackout dates for when I wanted to come, no having to leave a message and wait for a callback...no issues. Andy took my reservation, was pleasant and polite through my fumbling since I couldn't look at my email on my phone while we talked (thanks Sprint) and answered all my questions. He offered a video package but wasn't pushy and gave me all my necessary info. I called back today bc it was really windy for one and two because I don't always listen needed to make sure that I arrived on time, knew where to go etc. I spoke with Andy again and he let me know that the pilot would call prior with plenty of notice if we needed to push back or change bc of the wind and again was pleasant and polite as I took note of the info he had already given me regarding what time to come (10-15 mins prior) and also where to go. (The signature bldg at the end of corsair) Kim, our pilot ended up calling to push back the time since it was very windy but she took was very polite and pleasant and I loved that she gave me two options. I decided to go for 7pm today instead of the next morning. When we arrived we were greeted by a woman at the front desk of the signature Bldg and Kim came over shortly. She was awesome! Ask for her! Our pilot Kim took good care of us!!! I can't say enough about how fun and exciting the ride was. She made us feel 100% relaxed, was a very informative guide, pointed out landmarks and just made the existence wonderful. Nuff said. Go get your copter on and ask for Kim. I won't go into detail about the ride except to say that it wasn't scary. I didn't feel claustrophobic or packed in, the views were astonishing and yay!! I'll be back! Oh and don't forget to tip your pilot! read more

Prestige Helicopters - Lol! Maybe I should have paid for the video! - Tours Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Purchased a voucher via Groupon and when applying the code the lady I booked with told me that the computers were down/not cooperating and she would write my voucher ID down to be later applied. I woke up the day of the flight reservation and had been charged for the entirety of the flight, including the purchase I had made on Groupon. After speaking with someone, I then received an updated receipt reflecting a price and balance of $0. My assumption was that I was being refunded for the flight due to my Groupon. WRONG!! After a week of still seeing the charge on my statement, I called Prestige and was told that they could not even locate my name in the customer Groupon purchases (as I am looking at the "redeemed" voucher on the Groupon app). They offered no other assistance. I was eventually refunded by Groupon, however, still having to pay $70 more than I anticipated with the usage of the Groupon. Not to mention, my pilot was over 45 minutes to an hour late, however, nobody had the decency to communicate this excessive tardiness. My flight was significantly shorter than the allotted time mentioned in the scheduling! I have lived in the Atlanta area for 4 years and this is yet another establishment that has thoroughly disappointed me with its lack of customer service, punctuality, and TRASH products. I would never recommend this company to a soul. I would never recommend any establishment in Atlanta for that matter. DO BETTER!!! read more

I scheduled a 1hour tour from 6pm-7pm for my daughter's sweet 16. My group had a tight schedule with the party bus, and dinner reservations. When we arrived, we were told that the pilot was late and she assumed we would board at 6:30pm. We waited over an hour to get on the flight, which was after 7pm. We had to beg the restaurant to accommodate our large party at a later time even though the were at capacity. We also had to pay for an extra hour for the party bus, because our 7:30 dinner couldn't be seated until 9:30. Prestige did not notify us of any delay, and when I called at 6:40pm, one of their employees told me she would check and call me back. I never received a callback. Russell from Prestige thought a complimentary $80 video was a good solution. Will never use them again. Helicopter tour was nice though. But that was compliments of the pilot. read more

So babe and I found this on Groupon. We had the King and Queen package. The process was very simplE trying to use the voucher. We called the number, the wait time for a service rep representative was about 3-5 minutes. We arrived to the location, there was a sign in the door that directed helicopter tours to go to the Signature building which was a few feet away, super close. Once we arrived we weeds greeted and instructed to wait for our pilot. Once our pilot arrived, the photographer introduced all of us and then went over the basic guidelines for what to expect and safety. The ride itself is about 10 minutes but it's worth it! We went during sunset and were in complete awe. As a bonus, you get 1 FREE professional portrait. If you want multiple, it's a fee of $20.00. They also offer a video special for $50 where they record the outside and inside the helicopter for you and allow for you to pick a song for the background. We opted out of the $50.00 add on. If you have a phone then you can achieve the same. Overall, I enjoyed this experience and will love to go back in the future. read more

I scheduled a flight on Saturday, May 20 at 800 pm to depart the W Hotel to propose to my girlfriend. However it began to storm at approximately 620 pm. I received a call from the pilot who told me he would continue to watch the weather and call me back in 45 minutes. Now I made sure my plans were shot. However I spoke with the pilot at approximately 7pm and told him it was not raining. The pilot told me to have my girlfriend head to the helipad for the flight. I want to thank Prestige Helicopter for making this proposal happen. read more

Very disappointed today. I've had great tours with this company in the past and have done multiple trips - 4 to be exact, but for this weekend I made the mistake of using a Groupon and was treated really differently. What they did not communicate on the Groupon promotion is that they will only take 3 Groupon tours a day even if they have availability on the day being requested. Oppose to being willing to make an exception permitting the tour to take place on a day they had available time slots still remaining, they asked me to pay the additional cost of another tour without going through Groupon, to use one of the available time slots. Why would i pay twice. If you all don't like people using Groupon- it's simple, stop offering them. Disheartening because Ive used you all 4 times before and you normally have pretty good customer service but i guess that's only if you pay full price. read more

My now fiancé booked this company for the proposal. His plan was to bring our own photographer and not use their engagement package which included a photographer, roses and more he wanted it to be a surprise and those things provided in that package would make it obvious. When he contacted prestige helicopter about bringing his own photographer well in advance the lady who answered was very rude and was not offering solutions to make this day special. Of course my fiancé had to work around the obstacle to make the day special for me, which he did. I had no idea any of this happened of course until he informed me the next day. Overall the customer service we received prior to our trip was terrible the reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because Cody our pilot was amazing and he made the day VERY special and was apologetic to what my fiancé experienced prior to arriving. The views were AMAZING as well. If you are planning a special event be aware of the customer service, they are not flexible and do not provide any kind of solutions to issues that may occur. read more

I booked a flight for my husband's 30th birthday gift and it was awesome! We did a 30 min downtown and buckhead tour and couldn't have been happier. I added the champagne package which was nice to have during our flight but probably wasn't worth the extra $50 (I assumed we'd have a bottle but we had 2 tiny personal bottles). Our pilot was the best! Super outgoing and he also added an extra 5 mins and took us to see the king and queen buildings as a "birthday extra." Overall very happy with our experience and definitely recommend! read more

From the description of a Discovery flight in an R22 on their official website: "This price includes 30 minutes of classroom instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor and 30 minutes of dual flight time with an instructor." Also as per their website and in regards to Discovery flights: "Additional Flight Time An additional 30 minutes in our R22 is $165.00." I purchased the R22 Discovery flight with the additional 30 minutes, but the experience was as follows: - 22 minutes in the helicopter on the ground - 10-20 minutes over the runway learning controls - 7-10 minutes of actual flying in the sky From take off to touch down was roughly 25 minutes. For the price that is wholly disappointing and ethically more than questionable. read more
