IMHO, our care has been less than thorough with little to no follow up on what has transpired after our Medicare paid for and suggested visits. If we haven't agreed with suggestions, it seems the issue gets dropped rather than alternatives suggested. Issues with medication tend to be left in a "that's not our problem" arena. So, while the other folks tend to think this practice is the best thing since sliced bread, I tend to disagree.

Mr. Judkin's is a very thorough provider he listens carefully to ones concern's and runs testing as needed. He was able to diagnose a condition previously missed by other providers. He has made a tremendous difference in my life. I lost nearly all my coordination in my hands and he convinced me to start painting (I had never picked up a brush my whole life). It was truly a Godsend, I enjoyed it and was often able to work through pain. There definitely isn't a magic bullet, but he has been able with traditional medications and shots and unconventional treatments like paint that has really helped. I'm still in a lot of pain, but my overall health considerably better. If you're looking for a physician who will certainly put just as much in to your care as you, Mr Judkin's is my recommendation. However, this is NOT a provider that is going to prescribe medication that isn't warranted. They run a very professional operation. I have lived with chronic pain for many years; I have seen the Good, Bad, & Ugly with pain clinic. This is a great provider. When I tried to pay the previous copay, I was told that the bill was an error and I didn't owe anything. I paid all my co-pays after that, but in February 2018, I received a bill for two co-pays, one of which was the one they told me I didn't owe and the other appears to be one I paid. Not looking forward to dealing with their billing department. Considering paying the co-pays, just to avoid trying to deal with their billing department.

They finally started giving me medication about 2 years ago, one of which actually worked, but stopped working after 9 months. Then they gave me an additional medication on top of the 1st one. The 2 together does blunt the pain a bit, but it's still around a 7 on the pain scale. Today I tried to refill one of my pills, but the pharmacy said I had to wait another day! As of tonight, I am out. I have 2 appointments tomorrow morning and I won't be able to go to the pharmacy until tomorrow mid afternoon! 2 pills I will miss because Dr Yang wouldn't let me have my pills on day 29. She doesn't care about my pain! I will avoid her in the future, and I suggest that others do too.

It took most of the next day calling and leaving messages to try to get something for the pain. Never got to speak to a doctor, but was prescribed some Tramadol which barely helped. The day of the procedure, Dr Yang was late, gave me a five minute explanation of what was next and afterwards stood in the doorway of the recovery room and said it went well. Apparently, it didn't go well and the pain continued. Spent the next day in agony trying to reach someone there for help. One one thier Lackeys finally called back and said Dr Yang wanted some X-Rays and prescribed a pain pill called Journavx​ which my pharmacy doesn't carry. I called Pima Pain Center and was told that I would have to find it on my own. On the day the stitches were removed I asked Dr Shiller what was next and was told that was all they could do and good luck. So, if your goal is to visit a Medical Industrial Complex with horrible communication and one phone number, this is the place for you. Personally, I'm now going to Barrow Brain and Spine to see if they can actually help me.

My husband & I were charged $75 each for a 5 minute intake conversation with Stephen Kenworthy…read more He's the only Chiropractor we know that charges an "intake fee ".This was followed with 5 minutes on a 4 section drop table. We are seniors in our 80's. We have learned since from a trusted chiropractor that drop tables are typically not used with seniors with degenerative discs, as the "quick thrust" can be damaging. Evidently Dr Kenworthy didn't read the extensive forms we filled out, which included degenerative disc. Medicare was billed $58 for the 5 minutes on the table.
