This young man is dedicated to his craft, thoroughly professional but the kind of guy you want to go to lunch with just for the conversation. I have been a patient there a few times and oddly enough, the therapist had no recollection of me…read more I understand that they have a lot of patients, but I had been there a number of times within a few years and they couldn't remember me. The first time I went there, Jamie was there and she was great. I didn't know that I would be going there and handed off to new people every time and they would have interns who were there temporarily and each therapist would be working with multiple patients at a time. The individual care is not great. I have a huge problem with one therapist in particular and that's the reason why I'm writing this review. I don't know how she can continue to do what she does and no one else does anything about her behavior. Toni is a very outspoken and unprofessional person who has said things in front of the whole gym that actually made me uncomfortable as a patient. What ultimately made me upset was how she treated me as an individual by telling me that I wasn't really hurting and that I needed to go to therapy because I needed to get over it. When I looked up her training and how long she has been working, I couldn't believe that she had the blind confidence to tell someone twice her age and double her education level and experience that I needed mental therapy for my physical health and pain management! She needs to learn how to manage herself and stick to what she's been trained in at Green River Community College.

And they have a heated pool fir therapy. The therapists, however seem to just put me to whatever they want to just to keep me busy, not to explain why they have me doing certain regiments of exercise and what the benefit of each will produce for my peripheral nueropathy and balance. I had a difficult time getting on a bike because of my mobility limitations and. Instead of getting assistance the therapist watched me struggle to get on the bike. Almost faltering till he finally offered a step stool and his arm to stabilize me. He walked away once I was on and said I had 10 minutes, but someone else would be assisting me once I was done, and he had a timer to be sure other therapist was aware of my time. My timer went off and I kept slowly pedaling for another 5 mins. Before another therapist came to take me to lay on a bed and instructed me to do some leg lifts with a band under my feet for 30 seconds 3 times on each leg. He began visiting with me, and I lost count. He was not really paying attention if I was positioning right and he did not bother timing the lifts either. I caught a cramp in my left leg cause I think I did too many reps while he kept talking asking me general friendly questioms that kept throwing me off count. After that was over he had me do some instructed stretches on each leg He then said another therapist would help me cause he had another client to get. I finished and waited, but needed to use the restroom, so I let a therapist working her computer know who I was and if my new therapist came for me if she could let them know where I was at. I returned and asked if anyone came for me, but she said not that she was aware of. So I proceeded to walt, and wait and wait. My time was up and I was frustrated letting the gal on the computer know I had to go, and I was very upset how much time I waited for no one to come back to complete my alloted time. I asked the kind and helpful ladies up front who I would issue a complaint with and they got one of the initial therapists who helped me to hear why I was upset. He apologized and understood why I was upset and he forgot to come back to me cause of working with another client. The manager there said she could refund my copay or in a few weeks have a check mailed to me cause they could not credit my copay since I laid using a debit card?? On 2 other times they have canceled appointments that I scheduled a month in advance for lack of enough therapists. Love the pool staff, but also have noticed therapists while nice and kind also visit more than instruct or explain benefits of each exercise regiment. My nuerologist wanted me to use his referral preference, but I opted to use them because of the pool therapy and poiximity to my home, but now reconsiderring the recommendation to get hopeful quality care worth my expense and time. herknow that I

I have been impressed with her work ethic and attention to the front desk service she provides. I do not feel that it is always the training that clinic employees may receive but the want to go the extra mile with patients that makes them stand out. I have viewed the passion that Jane Line has for this facility and does a wonderful job for anyone coming through the door. In todays world customer service is becoming a thing of the past. There is proof in this facility that is definitely not the case. I was having sciatica pain going down my left leg that made it difficult for me to sleep. After a month of treatment, I was 100 percent better. They were knowledgeable and kind. They explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions. They listened to my symptoms and even changed their treatment as my symptoms changed. I never felt like a number to them. I will continue to choose their practice for any future treatments needed.

Easy to make and change appointments. There is little or no waiting for your appointment. I am working with Jeff who is patient, kind and explains the different exercises and what they will accomplish. I also work on exercises at home which were given to me to help in my recovery. The only con is the exercise room might be a little small. This is the place to go for PT.

Completely unqualified. I have 2 herniated discs and was…read moresent here after a hospital visit to Good Sam (they're all run by MultiCare which means quality is not so great). The team I initially was set up with got me moving a little better (Alain), but soon after I was paired with Melissa who was very uneducated about herniated discs and proper exercises. I kept telling her what my needs were, and she kept referring to her "herniated disc protocols" and telling me what to do based on what her books told her. Everyone deserves personalized treatments, and she kept making me do exercises that either inflamed my disc or did nothing at all. For weeks I complained that I was plateauing. She got so frustrated each time, immediately becoming defensive rather than acknowledging my own frustration with the condition and having empathy. She couldn't think outside of her book. She finally pawned me off to another PT who admitted this location was run poorly and not equipped to handle my unique needs. She then dismissed me. I was actually happy to leave even though I was still in pain because going there was becoming more of a headache for little to no relief. I have now started sessions at RET Physical Therapy. They are INCREDIBLE. Go there if you can. They do manual therapy there (unlike OSS) and take the job SERIOUSLY as if it's a reflection of their passion for the career-- which it is. Stay away from OSS.

I have been so lucky to get into lymphatic therapy with Janet Todd, a Lymphedema and Lipedema…read morespecialist. I have extremely advanced Lipedema (if you're not familiar, go Google it; it's horrifying) and some co-occurring Lymphedema as a result. Her work has been a godsend. I have been through hell with the condition of my legs, and she has bright back pliability, movement, reduced size and swelling, and functionality - there is room in my skin again! Before seeing her, every trip to my hair stylist was excruciating because the side bars of her chair dug into my thighs. The last time I went in, I was comfortable! I almost cried. Not only does Janet have skill, she's also incredibly down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, and just fun and interesting to chat with as she works! She has an extremely long waitlist because people with conditions like mine are everywhere and need help, and she does her best to see as many of us as she can handle. No offense to OSS, but I'll bet there's no way she is as appreciated there as much as she ought to be. She's a gem. So grateful!!

So back in mid 2023, I broke my foot... Like the devastating kind of break. I had three fractures…read moreand a torn ligament that resulted in a major surgery that required four screws be placed in my foot to stabilize it and pin the ligament while it healed... End to end, I spent the better part of seven months in a boot. It was pretty awful. After surgery, my orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy... He said that it definitely could help me and I should give it a shot, even though I was skeptical. It's important to note that I was over 300 pounds when I had my final surgery and I was in a very weird place where I had to exercise if I wanted to lose weight, but my injury was so grievous that anything more than a slow walk was excruciating the next day. Enter Nate at Anchor Physical Therapy... I had my initial intake with him and while I did try another therapist, they weren't as good as a fit, so I adjusted my schedule to make sure I was available when Nate was available, and I started showing up for his first appointment every Friday morning. I've been working with Nate for over a year and while weight loss was definitely not part of our goal setting together, it was part of my personal journey, and he contributed to this greatly. He gave me homework, and I did it... Ensuring that I was moving my body, stretching, and doing the little things that he asked me to do in order to get better. This is an essential part of the journey, doing the homework. I won't bore you with all of the myriad of details of my recovery, but suffice just to say that in the last year I have lost 90 pounds, and I have graduated from a hobble to training for a 5K, after being told that it was likely I would never run again. With help from Anchor Physical Therapy, I have overcome the odds and in spite of injury, osteoarthritis, and schedule challenges, I've come out on top. As far as details go, I would also like to add that the front desk staff and management is phenomenal. They were always really great about dealing with my insurance, which is Tricare and that can be challenging at times. The referrals didn't always come through the right way, or there was a hiccup, but they always made sure it got taken care of, and they communicated every step of the way. Big thanks to the whole anchor team at this location and especially Nate.

Lakewood office has really good PT staff. But their office staff are mediocre. There's one woman…read morethat sits against the back wall that's especially noisy and obnoxious. And make sure to ask about copay's. Otherwise you may end up owing several hundred dollars before they let you know.
