They're really good about getting you seen as fast as possible. I was there on a Thursday for "fast care" - definitely had conjunctivitis and wanted an RSV test because my son was in the hospital with that and I was at his bedside. 2.5 hour wait - but they told you that when checking in. They let me wait in my car which I appreciated - no dealing with people who blast stuff from their phone without headphones. I had prescriptions in to my pharmacy and was on my way about 15 minutes post being seen. (No RSV for me. Hurray!!!) Next door to the fast care building, there is also a blood test lab and X Rays. Those are normal business hours but much more convenient than trekking into Boston from the South Shore. Have used those services for myself and my 6 year old daughter. Had an appointment last Wednesday and received a call today (8 days later, on the same day my CC was hacked, didn't even acknowledge my CC issue just wanted a new card) all they wanted was a new card for last weeks Co-pay that wasn't billed ) (if they billed it last week no problem) made me feel like I was trying to get over on them. The one actual rehab I had was very good, but I feel it's all about the copay not even taking into account the money they get from my insurance.

Laura is extremely talented, knowledgeable - she knew exactly what was going on when she first saw me. Based on her experience and expertise her assessment for a biweekly visit for 6-weeks worked perfectly for me. I saw Mike on most of my appointments during the course of 6 weeks. Mike is excellent, very knowledgeable, and helped me with all the exercises a huge deal. The friendly conversations helped me go through some very basic exercises very quickly. The facility is meticulously clean, appointments are on time. I always received a reminder text the previous day for the appointments. The ATI app also helped with exercises at home. Kudos to ATI, I am so much better and able to go about my life while knowing how to handle soreness and pain should they creep up again. Highly recommend ATI.

Laura, in my view, is unprofessional. She is loud and thinks she is funny. She was not amusing to me. The manner in which she spoke to a new therapist in training was rude. She spoke to her harshly several times while standing next to me. I have trained numerous nurses over the years and never treated another nurse the way Laura treated Ashley. I have a work related back injury. I only went for the initial visit and had enough. I going someplace else. I have body image issues as I am overweight right now. I didn't need to hear that I have a "neck like a turtle". "I have a flat butt and flat shoulders". "I have a degenerative disc disease body". Hearing these comments from Laura at the start of my appointment just stunned me so much. It was difficult to get past psychologically. Then having pay attention to her abrupt instructions on exercises was stressful. After explaining each exercise she would tell me how many to do and just walk away to do something else with someone else. I didn't know if I was performing the exercise correctly. Shouldn't a PT make sure you are doing things correctly? Of course. I also felt the "chicken wing" song was childish (another therapist playing a bongo while she sang to me). I will never go back again and won't refer anyone I know to go there. I think Laura needs some feedback as the other therapist working at ATI that day seemed professional.

The care he received was topnotch. Every person he interacted with, from his floor nurse, to his physical therapy trainings, to the woman who came in and took his daily menu orders - were filled with care, tenderness and the utmost plan to get him better. He was able to come home. The Life Care people also treated my mother with care and love as well, helping with billing questions, saving a meal for her when she was visiting my father, and always welcoming her with warmth. I was treated by Dr. Akash Patel.During the encounter, Dr. Patel displayed highly unprofessional conduct. He abruptly produced a mobile phone and informed me that he was recording our conversation. He did not seek, nor did he receive, my permission or consent to record this medical encounter, which I believe is a violation of Massachusetts two-party consent laws.Furthermore, Dr. Patel prescribed Zyrtec and Prednisone (a corticosteroid). Because I suffer from severe osteoporosis and arthritis, I specifically asked him to explain the pros and cons of taking Prednisone. Dr. Patel refused to answer my question regarding the risks, stating only that it reduces swelling, and aggressively demanded, "Well, do you want it or don't you?" He failed to check my medical history or disclose the severe contraindications of corticosteroids for patients with advanced osteoporosis.Due to his dismissive nature and lack of informed consent, I immediately contacted my Primary Care Provider (PCP) upon returning home. Following a telemedicine consultation with a doctor and nurse, I was informed that Prednisone was completely clinically unnecessary for my sting and given my medical history not a good idea . I was instructed to take Zyrtec only.I am filing this complaint because Dr. Patel's sent me a secure message to write a review about ny visit so I did but apparently he cherry picks his reviews or Google did not publish. I will never return to NOVA MEDICAL CENTER IN E BRIDGEWATER.
