These patients sing praises about Forte, from the doctors to the nurses to the efficient people at the front desk. From a visitor's point of view, Forte is great. They are very straightforward with their instructions, which I appreciate. Just tell me what to do and what to expect, and I'll do it and expect it. Everything went pretty much according to what they said. They have a smoothly running system here. Visitors can help themselves to the unlimited coffee and water at the coffee and water station. This is where the Little Free Library is located! The waiting room also has multiple seating arrangements, from high-top desks to comfy chairs to love seats. Or, if you need something to eat or drink, there's a cafe on the first floor. (See my separate review for La Verna Cafe.) The waiting room is airy and bright. One thing that's kinda weird is that a "cruise director" comes and talks about what to expect with your surgery ... right in the waiting room, among all those random people. That seems unusual, right? However, there are private rooms that you're taken to when the time comes to talk about your particular case with the doctor. As a visitor who is not a patient, Forte is great. But I've been told that it's also great being a patient here, so there's that.

I chose Dr. Larry Jaggers, not only because of his impeccable credentials and extensive experience but because of his convenient location right off I-465 on E. 56th Street on the NE side. For me, a very twisted sister since childhood, when my body and sled, hit a tree, my body and bicycle, hit a tree, several car accidents Dr. Jaggers experience as a chiropractor is icing on the cake! In one visit, I have regained mobility in my neck, I can lift my left arm above my head again and have already cut back on the pain killers! I am having fewer headaches and I feel like a ton of bricks was lifted off my shoulders. I am so happy I could cry! I thought my life was essentially over and felt like I wanted to die, because the pain was overwhelming. My second treatment was today and with his combination of techniques was able to "unlock" some more body parts and energy. I was really tired after my first procedure, but that is normal for some people. I was able to drive home and the acupuncture needles didn't even hurt! Wow! Why didn't I try acupuncture sooner? I specifically asked what the cost would be if I had to "self pay" and was told I did not need to worry about it since my insurance would cover it. A few days after my first session, I received a bill for almost $600 FOR A ONE HOUR SESSION. I called the billing department and they acted completely oblivious. I was told that they went ahead and switched it to "self pay" but could not explain to me why I was not notified, even though they had ample time to contact me with a quote. I have seen additional negative reviews due to their bad billing practices and definitely should have taken those into consideration before choosing this company.

I've had plantar fasciitis for years and have treated it half ass with home remedies, but it has gotten worse due to neglect. On my first visit, they took an X-ray and ultrasound of both feet. Dr. Vogel identified the problems and thoroughly explained to me what he saw so that I could get a better understanding. He recommended I try some inserts and come back in two weeks. He also offered a few other suggestions. The inserts I got from the office gave me results. My feet aren't as sore and tender after being on my feet all day. Same in the morning. He recommended custom orthotics, but wanted me to check with my insurance provider first since they aren't cheap. I like this office and feel like my feet are in the right hands. Hate that I waited so long to seek relief. The staff is friendly and there hasn't been any waiting for my appointments. The office also has a bin in the lobby to collect shoes to donate to charities.

They made a special pad for my feet to help support my feet while inserts were being made. The inserts were a life saver. Dr. Vogel knows what he is doing, he talks to you (not AT you), his staff is friendly and professional, and best of all, they have variable office hours throughout the week. This was great for my work schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vogel and I will never go anywhere else.

kindred hospital is the worst hospital in the state. my husband was there twice within month and…read moreboth times the AC was out except for the nurses area. the rooms were filthy and some days not cleaned for days. they had the meds laying on the filthy counters in the room. most of the nurses had a huge additude. they chatted more than helped patients. i asked the charge nurse to call me back when my husband was dying and the nurse said ' oops i guess i forgot to call u back.'. my husband left that place to hospice and died two days later. i truly believe it was from the filthy area he had to stay in. jb
