The therapist has taken the time to listen to my son, they ask excellent questions and put him to work on getting better. They give him homework and they can tell if he does the work. They adjust each week and do well at monitoring his progress. We are happy with Athletico. While I hope we don't come back... knowing my family, we will be :)

Back in April, I unfortunately broke my right leg during a soccer game. It was my second time…read morebreaking my right leg in an 18-month span. Because of this, I was crushed. Knowing I would have to go through another recovery process where I would be missing out on moments of my college experience was tough. With this injury, I was able to put pressure on my leg much quicker than my previous injury, meaning I was more nervous to walk than the first time where I was non weight-bearing for six weeks. When I arrived at Athletico for my first appointment, however, I knew I was in good hands. I worked with Ashley throughout my recovery process and couldn't be more thankful for her guidance in the recovery process. She was always very kind, responded well to my feedback towards exercises, and progressed me at a pace that allowed me to recover as fast as I did. Although I did not work with Dan and Jenna as much, I can confidently say that they would have done the same for me. The PT team at Athletico is one of the kindest bunches who cultivate a positive work environment. I could not only sense this from the constant jokes and encouragement, but also from the aids who work alongside the PTs matching their energy and guidance. The scheduling process with Athletico is extremely simple and I found myself being able to schedule myself at convenient times for 6-8 sessions at a time. Because of this, I was able to work Athletico into my weekly routine, leaving it closer to the front of my mind on days where I had appointments. Having this availability led to consistency, which gave me more confidence in my recovery going forward. The quality of exercises and programs that Athletico offers is extremely valuable as well. Each take-home exercise has a well-thought description to match the picture shown. There are also video representations of these exercises through Athletico's health portal for you to be able to see an example of a certain workout. In less than two months out from surgery, I was not only able to travel to Eugene, OR for my internship with USA Track & Field, but also hike up to the highest point of Spencer Butte Park. Athletico's take-home program prepared me with exercises and stretches to properly take care of myself before and after the hike. Without their guidance and care during the first few months of my recovery process, this hike with my friends in Eugene would not have been possible. In conclusion, I could not be more thankful for Athletico and their staff for helping me feel confident on my feet once again. The PT experience at Athletico is exceptional and I would recommend them to anyone recovering from an injury!

Good for knees and good for active people! Effective, well-regarded by doctors, flexible hours,…read moreflexible therapy design, efficient billing, fun. This location is in a convenient shopping center in Broad Ripple with a big parking lot. MY SITUATION: I went to Team Rehab on a recommendation from my orthopedist, with a knee tracking problem stemming from a still-mysterious acute knee injury. I had very specific and ambitious fitness goals and the crew worked with me to help me recover, but also helped me get closer to those goals than I ever have before. PRIMARY GOOD THINGS: They were always very flexible and transparent with letting me control the pace and style of my therapy; at intake they asked me what my goals were (I told them specific things like "sharp turns" and they worked with me on these specific things). I wanted to come in early in the morning once a week and they rearranged things to help me do that. I wanted to do as much therapy at home as possible and they helped coach me on what to do at home, plus gave me some free equipment to use! REPUTATION: I think my experience is representative because the patients there all seem happy and the doctors I've talked to all hold Team Rehab in high regard. Stockton is the guy who worked with me the most and he's great. OTHER GOOD THINGS: They were also medically very knowledgeable and able to discuss things with me like the prognosis for my knee under various scenarios, desirability of different types of imaging, how to manage my medical expenses, etc. . They didn't mind when I was late a couple times. They always tried to keep the therapy fun and gave me opportunities to mix up the rehab activities I was doing.

ZERO STARS - THIS PLACE IS A DEATH CAMP. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE…read more If I could give Community North Rehabilitation Center zero stars--or better yet, negative stars--I absolutely would. This facility nearly killed my mother, and I want to make sure no one else goes through the nightmare we did. My mom arrived at Community North Rehab after suffering a stroke. She had some mild speech impairment and early-stage dementia, but she was mentally sharp, alert, and active. She also had a stent between her kidney and bladder. Despite her condition, she was prematurely discharged from the hospital, under the all-too-common excuse of "testing will be done outpatient"--which really just means "get them out, we're done here," even if they're still on the brink of a medical crisis. From the moment she entered this facility, she declined rapidly. She stopped eating, became lethargic, and couldn't even complete her therapy sessions. Staff blamed "severe dementia," which was a lie. Before coming here, she was engaged, talkative, and functioning far above the level they claimed. The reason she couldn't participate in therapy? She was constantly needing to use the bathroom--a huge red flag they brushed off as nothing. I raised hell. I demanded answers. I asked to speak to the doctor overseeing her care, who coldly told me there was no reason to send her back to the ER. I asked him, "So, blood in the urine and needing to use the bathroom ten times in a half hour is normal?" And he said yes--as if that was something any human being should accept. They insisted she was "fine" and that this was normal for someone with a stent and told us to take her home for outpatient testing. So I did. Within one day of being home, she was practically unresponsive. She had explosive diarrhea, slept the entire day, and was only awake for about 45 minutes. I told my husband, "We have to get her to the ER--now." We took her to a different hospital, and within hours, they diagnosed her with C. diff--a dangerous, highly contagious infection that she most likely contracted either at Community North Hospital or at the Rehab Center. And what did the rehab staff do when she complained about needing to constantly use the bathroom? Nothing. They ignored her. I was there--I heard her begging to be excused from physical therapy because she had to go to the bathroom. And the staff still insisted she finish her tasks. Meanwhile, I kept repeating, "She is not doing well!" and was met with blank stares. I have to call out Robin, her case manager, by name. She was apathetic, stubborn, and completely dismissive of my concerns. Every time I raised a red flag, she gaslit me--saying there was "nothing they could do." I cried. I sobbed. I begged for help. Robin remained completely unmoved. Cold. Detached. As if my mother's suffering meant nothing. Now, my mother is fighting for her life in another hospital. And I can't help but believe that if Community North Rehab had listened--had actually cared--she might not be in this position. This place is a death camp. And the most twisted part? When I first arrived, I saw their signs and banners proudly announcing they were voted "Best Rehabilitation Center." I was fooled. Duped. Don't let the polished signage and smiling faces fool you--they are not what they appear. Please, for the love of your family--do not bring your loved one here.
