I worked with Gretchen both during pregnancy and postpartum for pelvic floor and core strength. I'm not the most coordinated person, but I feel super comfortable with her directions and guidance (of which I needed PLENTY of!). She was easy to talk to throughout sessions, which made the 45 minutes fly by. I could tell I was getting stronger, but hearing her say it with tangible evidence was the icing on the cake! It's important to note that during the pandemic, I was also able to opt for in-person or virtual sessions, and liked both equally. I would HIGHLY recommend all pregnant women see a PT, and definitely Gretchen in particular. I'm so happy I did!

Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy is the place to go!…read more I was introduced to Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy from my husband. I quickly setup an appointment because I was struggling with hand, forearm, and leg pain. It was kind of like going to the mechanic and you finding out more stuff is wrong as you dive deeper into the initial issue you came in for. From my first session to my last the staff was so friendly and motivational. I was obviously scared that I waited too long to get my issues addressed but they reassured me that I could improve if I put in the work during my sessions and outside of them. I primarily worked with Max but I worked with a few others if my visit time didn't coincide with his schedule but 80% of my sessions were with him. I would highly recommend Max! He helped me realize a lot of my issues were due to me needing to gain strength and he taught me so many exercises I could do on my own. I really like that Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy tries to ensure you stay working with your primary therapist. It felt less like I was just my insurance number and more like a valued client. He remembered things from our last conversation and I was able to build on my treatment plan because I didn't have to explain my issues to a new person each time. I worked with Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy for a little over a month and a half before l graduated from needing to go to the facility. I left the facility feeling so much more confident and educated on my body. I truly cannot remember the last time I had leg and foot pain (unfortunately the pain temporarily moved to my foot when I increased my workout). My hand pain is minimal and slowly disappearing the stronger I get. I highly recommend checking out Muscle & Joint Physical Therapy. Even if you have small pain it really helps getting an expert to look at it. I literally had a 20-30 weight difference that I could handle between my left hand and right hand before I sought out help!

They don't just go through the motions--they take the time to listen, explain, and make sure you understand every step of the process. What really stood out to me was how knowledgeable everyone is. You can tell they truly know what they're doing, and that gave me a lot of confidence in my recovery. They created a plan that was tailored to me and pushed me just enough to make real progress without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly, the results feel almost like a miracle. When I first came in, my shoulder was in rough shape, and I wasn't sure how much better it could get. Now, it feels significantly stronger and more mobile--I'm beyond grateful. I truly owe my improvement to the amazing team at Cora. If you're looking for a place that combines professionalism, kindness, and real results, I can't recommend Cora Physical Therapy enough. Perhaps once a year or so, one of my leg muscles or somewhere in my knee joint would flare up during training and slow my running nearly to a halt. The experience was always incredibly demoralizing. And perhaps more demoralizing was the fact that repeated bouts of physical therapy didn't seem to prevent the issue from occurring in the future. It always felt like something was missing, so I searched around for an expert that could help me piece it together. I sat down with Jason for my initial evaluation, prepared for another month long routine of stretching and glute strengthening exercises. But even within the first half hour of meeting me, Jason was already subverting my expectations. He effortlessly identified a lack of hip mobility and tight quads -- the ultimate "etiology" of the knee pain as he called it. He sent me off with some hip mobilization exercises, and when I came back soon after he offered to dry needle my quads. The difference these two changes made were night-and-day. The nightmare of another month of PT had vanished in an instant, and I was back to running nearly pain-free. And what's more so is that the results have lasted. A few short weeks in Jason's care, and I've been back to the running grind nearly flawlessly for months on end now. Jason is truly different than other PTs I've worked with in the past. He clearly has a remarkable level of experience and a principled approach to rehabilitation that yields sustained results. I am incredibly happy I chose Jason for my PT and would highly recommend him to other runners.

I admit to being remiss in not checking out staff credentials ahead of time. My referral order was for PT, so I assumed the staff might have informed me that no one I would be working with had an advanced degree in that area. I'm sure the staff is very well qualified for personal training, but I would not recommend this place for PT. My care was mainly directed by a former nurse practitioner/firefighter/EMT. After showing me an exercise, I was off-loaded to an admin person with no credentials at all in PT. The supervisor, who spent about 5 minutes with me per session, actually trained in chiropractic care and acupuncture. After 3 sessions, I did not feel I was receiving the care I needed. I also felt very out of place and uncomfortable in addition to not making any progress. I cancelled the rest of my appointments and started with an organization where each therapist has a doctorate in physical therapy. That person worked with me one-on-one for the full session. I immediately began to make real progress and benefitted enormously from the care I received. In summary I'd say before starting anywhere, check the qualifications of staff members and make sure they align with your needs. For me the only good part of this experience was being greeted each time by Adrean. He is an extraordinary customer service person and a kind, warm, and welcoming one. He was extremely efficient and the sole reason I gave Balanced Flow a two-star rating instead of one.
