The staff at Fleet Feet are well aware of this reality and can help you find and fit shoes just right for you. This is the former location of Front Runner, and while the name has changed the service at this location and the variety of running gear available still remains tops. Fleet feet serves the running community with shoes and other items that are needed to train and perform in events, including marathons and beyond. The item sold here, of course will work for other fitness pursuits as well. Parking is available on site. Be sure and take a careful look at the schedule of hours. They are open. Management is conscious of the need for staff to have free time for family and outside pursuits and take efforts to make sure that happens - because after all, this is really about promoting and pursuing healthy lifestyle.

Anyway, I had a great time visiting Fleet Feet running store, formerly this location was a Front Runner running store but Front Runner merged with Fleet Feet in 2015. All the store associates were super friendly and knowledgable. I was in Cincinnati to watch a tennis tournament for 2 days from August 12-13, 2024 so I knew I would be walking alot on those 2 days. Thus, I wanted new running shoes before my trip that I could use to walk around so I visited FleetFeet with my mom who was also looking for walking shoes. I visited on Saturday, 10 August, right before they closed at 6pm. I got the Hoka Arahi 7 running shoes in the colour white which was given to me as an early birthday gift. The HOKA ARAHI 7 is described as -- "A surprisingly sleek stability shoe. Not your average stability shoe, the new Arahi 7 delivers the same streamlined support as its predecessor with our patented J-Frame™ technology. Updated with a zonally engineered, flat knit upper for improved midfoot lockdown, we've fine-tuned the fit with a plusher tongue, and a stretchy dual gusset beneath the lace line to help mitigate tongue migration." I've owned my new shoe for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it. It is super comfortable and light although it is a big and chunky shoe but it is not heavy at all when you wear it. I highly recommend the Hoka Arahi 7's if you are an over-pronator runner. I had a good experience here at FleetFeet and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 87/150 total reviews in 2024 - 736 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 September 2024 *** (Unrelated) I must have lost count somewhere or maybe Yelp removed one of my reviews because I thought this was my 737th review but Yelp states that this is my 736th review....haha, oh well. I did notice that I made a mistake in my Kadi Professional braiding review by writing that it was my 662nd review but that was actually my 652nd review. Anyway, carry on...LOL

I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I replied that I needed tennis shoes. The associate said, "great! They are 40% off right now" and directed me to a rack of shoes. I picked out a pair of Nikes that they had in my size and fit. Note that the associate was entirely unhelpful in asking additional questions or ensuring the fit- however to the non-professional that I am, they appeared to fit. Upon walking 2 miles in them, my feet hurt badly. The outside of my right foot was falling asleep. These weren't the right shoes for me. I promptly called the store to ask their return policy, which it turns out is store credit only, however not applicable on the shoes I purchased since they were on sale. This was not mentioned upon purchase. Looking on Nike's page, I couldn't find the shoes which is disconcerting. However, on other websites I found that they were actually classic basketball shoes- not tennis shoes as I had explicitly asked for. Additionally the sales associate assumed that I was motivated solely by price in directing me only to the sales shoes. I am not a price driven consumer and I would have gladly spent in excess of $100 on shoes, yet these were the ones I was directed to. Stay away from this store. Exceedingly poor service, terrible return policy.

He said it is the same, but actually they are not the same. It is expensive and no return. And the shoe is not well reserved inside. Bad shopping experience ever. No need to buy shoes here.

The customer service, knowledge and patience I received from Emily, Dan and Will was unparalleled. I purchased a Surly Karate Monkey hardtail, which was my first mountain bike. I had done considerable research, but many questions remained. Sizing was my first concern. Emily brought out her own Karate Monkey, which confirmed the correct size for me; and because I had decided to upgrade the tires, Dan and Will spent considerable time helping me choose which tires would be best for both front and rear. Once the bike arrived, Dan assured a proper fit. He also made certain my compression front fork was adjusted properly and that I understood how to experiment with various settings to maximize its benefit. The folks at Paradise Garage make the experience of buying a new bicycle comfortable, enlightening and fun, as it should be.

My most recent visit was to buy a free standing bike pump to have on hand at home. Both employees in the shop were quick to show me where the pumps were and to suggest one. I always buy what they suggest. They have never steered me in the wrong direction yet. It was a quick visit today, but I am planning on buying my husband a new bike in the new year and Paradise Garage will be my go to for that. When I got home I was extremely pleased with my purchase. The new bike pump pumped up our tires perfectly. If you are a biker and you have not been to Paradise Garage yet please give them a chance. The employees, the service department, and the products are phenomenal and fairly priced. You will fall in love with them like we have.
