Things changed and I found Fan HQ while I was at the mall. I headed into the store. The clearance items greet you immediately. You could get a t-shirt for $5. Not shabby at all. I made a left and there was a table with more clearance items. There was a Minnesota Wild bear plushie that was adorable. Okay, focus. Vikings stuff. I have Wild stuff already. The Vikings apparel was across from the table with the clearance items. I found a Vikings t-shirt that I immediately loved. It had a ringer neck in black. The shirt was in team colour purple, with the logo on the front in yellow, black, and white. More importantly, the t-shirt felt nice. It was made with the softest cotton. I overheard a conversation between a male staff member and a customer as I was finding the t-shirt size that I needed: "Are you Canadian?" asked the male staff member. "Nope. I'm from Iowa," the customer answered. "Close enough," said the male staffer. My first reaction: What?! My late friend was so proud to be an Iowan and definitely did not sound Canadian to me. I thought about it some more. My friend was an honourary Canadian to me. She was kind and thoughtful. The staffer's comment changed my mind when I went beyond the accent and focused on character. I'll take it and put my initial outrage aside. I went to pay for my item at the counter. A young woman helped me out. I didn't get asked whether I was Canadian. Their loss... haha! I paid with a credit card. Tapped. Done! My purchase was placed in a small bag. I thanked the woman and happily left the store, all prepared for the game the following day with my t-shirt. I may need to return and get a Twins t-shirt down the road. I like this store. I'd come back when I'm at this mall again. (421)

This place is the most reliable one around to host autograph signings and also functions day-to-day as a sports memorabilia and apparel store. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the owner Shawn is very personable. They have some Fan HQ exclusive items, such as T-shirts and limited signed and numbered memorabilia. I hope this place stays open forever, as chances to meet local (and sometimes National) athletes is really fun.

The Yeti section in particular is very impressive! They've usually got employees by the entrances and exits so greet you and ask if there's anything they can assist with which is a nice touch. If you're not a name brand person their DSG brand has some pretty good options for a low cost as well!

The associate that pointed it out was very nice but he mentioned that whoever put the bike together had checked it off as good to go but missed all the bike damage. The bike had about 3 areas where the metal was scraped/exposed on the frame (divots) and the tires/pedals were clearly worn. There were scratches under the seat, the rubber handle bars at the ends had scuffs and it just looked like a used bike. They did offer 10-15% off but the price was still over $120 after taxes. I was very disappointed that I drove that far for a bike that looked like it was used and returned and I wasn't made aware of the damage ahead of time. Ended up passing, got a refund, and left with nothing.

It's a very quiet store and they don't sell out of everything as quickly as a lot of places do. I'm a fan of some of their athletic shoe varieties and I'd probably be coming here on a regular basis if they had sales all the time cuz they're just a little bit pricey in with the regular prices. The sale prices mean that you can get pretty good athletic shoes for a pretty reasonable prices but still not as good as somewhere like DSW or an outlet mall or something. And I generally just date girls, but when I'm frustrated I'll get down with a dude. I call him my Outlet Male.

They were not the ones I was getting online because they were out of stock. He was confident that being men's shoes, but 2 sizes smaller, would fit my feet. They were fine for walking around in for a minute or two at the store. I got them at home from ordering them online. I walked around for a few minutes and my feet HURT SO BAD!!! I am definitely never spending any more money at this shoe store. The sales guy obviously knew nothing about sizing, fitting, and the stores shoes. I came into return them, I could NOT get my money back, only STORE CREDIT. such BS!!! So I took my business to STARTLINE! where I should have gone in the first place! Much smarter to get more expensive shoes that will not hurt your feet in the first minute of using them, then getting very cheap crappy shoes; where the sales people obviously know much less about their products and shoes. VERY dissatisfied, would NOT RECOMMEND Finish Line to ANYONE, ESPECIALLY if you're a runner! I would give them less than 1 star if I could.
