The ingredients are quality. Tons of options to choose from on the menu! I wouldn't recommend the paninis since those can be a bit soggy and messy but the wraps and subs are awesome! For the first time, we ordered from Mr. Z's Pizzeria on 267 High Street in Clinton after discovering our usual restaurant, Primo's, was closed that Sunday. We ordered two large cheese pizzas for $32, which felt expensive given the quality received. When we got home, the pizza was extremely salty and also excessively greasy well beyond what would be considered normal for a properly prepared pizza. It was difficult to eat, and some family members were unable to finish it due to health-related concerns. The slices were also unevenly cut and appeared poorly prepared, which added to the overall impression of low quality. When I called to address the issue, the same young lady who originally took my order answered the phone. She was polite, professional, and offered to check whether a refund, credit, or resolution could be provided. She then transferred me to the manager, who I believe is named Rob. I calmly and respectfully explained the situation. However, during the call he immediately placed me on hold and then disconnected the call, which required me to call back. On the second call, I again attempted to explain the issue and request a refund for one of the two pizzas, as the second box was completely untouched due to the quality concerns. My intention was to obtain a refund so I could order food elsewhere for the children, as they were unable to eat the pizza. The manager remained dismissive and repeatedly stated that the issue was simply that we "didn't like the pizza." He also stated that even the owner would have the same response and declined to offer any refund or alternative resolution. He further stated that he had been working there for 15 years, which came across as justifying his approach rather than addressing the concern at hand. He indicated he was too busy to continue the conversation, despite the restaurant being empty when I later visited in person. When I returned to the restaurant, I brought the second untouched pizza box with me to clearly demonstrate that we were not attempting to obtain anything free, but rather seeking a fair resolution due to the quality concerns. I also left the pizza at the establishment, as it was not suitable for consumption due to how excessively salty, greasy, and outside normal expectations it was. At that point, the situation escalated further. The manager repeated that we "simply did not like the pizza," refused to acknowledge the issue, and stated he would not change his recipe for me. He also indicated he was calling the police and appeared to be on the phone with them; however, no officers ever arrived. Overall, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, with no effort made to address or resolve a legitimate customer concern. The young lady who assisted both in person and on the phone as I mentioned was kind and professional, which stood in contrast to the manager's behavior After looking on Yelp, I saw the ratings are not good, and I would have never ordered from here if I had known. I highly recommend others do their research before ordering. Don't waste your money or risk your health. In the end, this was not about the money it was about how we were treated as customers and the complete lack of respect and professionalism shown when we simply tried to voice a legitimate concern. Customers have rights, and basic respect should always be part of any business experience. The Manager Rob its extremely rude he doesn't care about the customer he is a total Jerk.

Delivery Review (Uber Eats) -- First Impression I haven't…read morestepped foot inside the restaurant yet, but based on this delivery alone I need to say something very important: Holy crap on a stick. This was absolutely delicious -- and easily one of the best pizza experiences in Gardner. Let's get this out of the way early: You're gonna pay for this pizza. Make peace with Jesus before you hit "Place Order," because they're using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and doing everything by hand. You will not find Cisco darkening their doorstep. This is a kitchen that respects itself. In our household, the test of any new pizza place is the Meat Lovers. How they source and treat their meats tells you everything you need to know about the operation. The Meats - Sausage: Real fennel, real bite, real flavor. Not the bland, gray mystery pellets you get from bulk suppliers. - Hamburger: Not frozen, not imported, not filler. This was actual beef with actual mouthfeel. - Bacon: If you screw up bacon, you shouldn't be making pizza. They didn't screw up bacon. The Cheese This is where Parker House flexes. The cheese didn't pull to the center. It didn't puddle. It didn't run away from the crust like it was scared. They understand alchemy -- the cheese stretched all the way to the edge, binding the whole thing together like a culinary spell. The Crust Not too thick. Not too thin. Didn't break your teeth, didn't flop like a sad handshake. It had enough structure and flavor that even people who normally abandon the end crust will finish it. That's rare. The Sauce This wasn't generic red paste. This was the Parker House Blend -- zesty, bright, flavorful, and confident. It held up the toppings without masking them, and it complemented the cheese instead of fighting it. The Aftermath We devoured the large pizza. Then we sat there in silence, staring at the empty box, realizing what we had done. Deep shame. Zero regrets. Next Steps At this point, we're going to have to go down there in person. I want to study the ambiance, meet the people, and maybe film a segment -- and I have a strong suspicion they'd welcome it. Unless the counter staff turn out to be complete jerks (unlikely), this place is sitting at a solid five stars. If they're sarcastic, even better -- that's my love language. Final Verdict Visit this place. Get a table. Order a pizza. Do it up. You will not be disappointed.

P&S Pizza House has been holding down Clinton since 1963, and it shows--in the way only a true…read morelegacy shop can. It's older than half the street, probably tougher than the other half, and still throwing food like it's trying to win a championship. Nothing here feels phoned in; everything feels earned. The calzone is a whole situation. A full-size one isn't a meal, it's a dare. Unless you're Adam Richman on a bender or you've recently completed some kind of spiritual fast in the desert, do not attempt it solo. It's enormous, it's packed to the edges, and it could feed two people comfortably--or three if they're the type who claim they're "not that hungry" and then eat half your fries. The pizza is classic Greek style done with the confidence of a place that's been doing it longer than some countries have had stable governments. The sauce hits exactly where it should, the cheese has real personality, and the toppings don't just sit there--they participate. In Clinton, you're not finding a better, more consistent pizza experience unless you start hallucinating one. And then there's the bottled craft cream soda. Forget the beige, timid stuff you see everywhere else. This one hits your tongue like it's launching a political campaign--loud, charismatic, and fully committed to winning your vote. It opens with a blast of sweetness and then leaves you floating in a vanilla afterglow that feels borderline spiritual. The shop itself is cozy. You can eat in, but most regulars grab their order to go because they know the drill. Prices are almost suspiciously reasonable for the quality they're putting out. Honestly, they could charge more, but they don't--because they're still operating like a neighborhood place instead of a trend-chasing food lab. If you want pizza from a place that's survived trends, fads, economic nonsense, and the general chaos of the universe without losing its soul, P&S Pizza House is the move.
