The first two were amazing I did it in the sun for 2.5 hours and everything went well they gave me a robe, sat me down for sun to get the top part better, then laid me down and brought fruits etc. at the ends I took a shower and left they gave me two lotions. About me 3rd session in 12/27 I tried something different and experience of the machine tanning. Marcia did my line of the bikini on my body which was perfect! She is very good and patient and deserves 10 stars. But the experiences after I left from her to go to Rita did not go so well. Because since then I just had another session today 12/29 and found out that she did many things wrong. #1 she did not put much cream on top for my bronze. (I wouldn't know it at the time because it was my first session but it's NOT normal, cream is supposed to be evenly spread, and then a 2nd cream applied with tapping of hands) #2 she did not put the second cream over the first one. #3 when it came time to get in to the machine she did not explain to me that she would be there the whole time so that I wouldn't have a panic attack just in case. (Which is a safety hazard) so I was very nervous but didn't tell her since she didn't ask. I didn't want to be annoying. #4 when turning me around in the machine she turned me from stomach, to my right side and then my belly. She totally skipped the 4th angle on left side which is supposed to be after the right side. #5 No one came in to clean me every time I was bing turned so that I wouldn't look like a Dalmatian, she did not do it, nor did anyone else. She just opened the machine and kept turning me. #6 at the end she started to wipe the purple stuff off of my body with a black wet rag that smelled disgusting like a wet dog. As if it was used to clean some surface. It gave me an allergy on my arm. #7 when I came out of the bathroom after I took a shower the receptionist told me to pay $5 for the shower which was never mentioned when I first bought the package that stated ALL WAS INCLUDED. So today 12/30 I went in and bought again another package, why might you ask? Because I had to correct the Dalmatian marks left by the cream from the first time. I also explained to the receptionist my previous experience was very bad, and she said "thank you, it is very important to hear feedback." Since there was no apology I decided to write about my experience so that all newbies know what to look out for and what is normal and what isn't. Hopefully my next two sessions go as good as they did today. I will keep updating on here about my experiences. So I decided to go on Yelp and see if there were any other tanning salons I could try and came across a mobile tanning salon. I decided to give that a try as I have had good luck with this type of service in LA and was pressed for time. I called and spoke with the owner, A'mia and went over my recent experience and goals. She was able to accommodate my schedule and meet me at my mothers in the night time, she was even patient when I was running late. A'mia was very personable and professional and didn't leave until I achieved the color I wanted. She offered to come the next day to give me a quick touch up before the wedding I had to attend but I ended up not needing it because she did such an amazing job. The next time I am in town, I definitely will be calling her as the owner is reliable, professional and her work was great. My tan looked amazing! When I returned to unfreeze it, I was informed that my membership had been mistakenly terminated by management. I was told it would be corrected within 24-48 hours, but no one followed up for more than a week. I later received an email saying I would need to open a new membership and pay another enrollment fee -- even though the issue came entirely from their own mistake. I declined and requested a call from management several times, but none were returned. Over the past month, I've also noticed what feels like a very disorganized and tense environment. The front desk staff are polite and try to help, but they seem to get almost no training or support. Several employees have personally shared with me that they feel underpaid, inadequately trained, and frustrated by what they describe as nonexistent or unresponsive management. Those private conversations matched what I observed during my visits. Also check out GlassDoor. I also originally chose this location because they advertised infrared and red-light therapy, but those services were not actually available as described, which felt misleading. Based on my experience -- the billing errors, the lack of communication, the unreturned calls, and an overall environment that appears poorly run -- I cannot recommend this place. There are other facilities with much better organization, transparency, and professionalism. At this point, it's obvious this place looks and feels like a joke of a company. Their membership model feels like a scam built on misinformation and internal chaos. Don't be fooled.

They were all located in great plazas, which made it easy to find. This particular location is located in the right hand plaza after Hillsboro and Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach, FL. It has a corner spot location in the small plaza. Once you walk inside, you are immediately greeted by a friendly employee. When I go around 5-6 p.m., there is usually a minimal wait time (5-10 mins) for a bed. The employees are very knowledgable on which tanning lotions to use, so feel free to ask them. The tanning beds and the rooms have been clean every time I've gone. They have many promotions going on. They offer a one week free week pass for new customers. You can tan unlimited in level 1 beds. Just need to bring your ID. Additionally, check their website for additional coupons before you go! One thing that could be better is their Spray tan process. You must wear flip flops inside the machine or your feet will be black with the tanning solution. In other tanning companies, you are able to purchase throw away flip flops similar to those at nail salons, when you are going to spray tan. As I understand, that is not an option at South Beach Tanning Company.
