They will say the basement floor was uneven, but they came to measure and scope everything before the contract was signed. - I'm still waiting for them to fix a closet door that was never put on a track and a receipt/warranty on a broken bathroom vent that was supposedly brand new. - I financed this project through their recommended financer. They said they'd pay me for going over and they did not. - I had a ton of electrical issues after their renovation even though they did not add any additional counts of light fixtures or appliances, just updated the old ones. Later I will include pics of work they said was completely finished. The good thing is they came back and finished messy work, the bad thing is it was inconvenient to continually ask them for updates to fix unprofessional work. I would only recommend this company if financing was your only option and they were the only company that would finance it. Other than that, it took way too long and they were unprofessional to communicate and work with. Timeline: Sep 1, 2022: Sent material list, signed contract. Was told it was a 4 week project, 2 weeks for upstairs, 2 weeks for downstairs. Sep 4: Told me start date would be Sep 19 or 26. Sep 6: Told me start date would be Sep 26. Sep 8: Someone came to measure counters. Sep 24: Some miscommunication about starting. Sep 26: Starting removing cabinets, counters, carpet, window casing, base molding, was told middle floor done Oct 10th Oct 1: First payment due Oct 7: Was told middle Floor done Oct 14, Basement done October 28 Oct 17: Was told he'd buy me a new fridge because the the new cabinet drawer hit the fridge (spoiler, he never did). Oct 22: Was told Oct 29 done with Middle floor, Bottom floor 7-10 days after that, was told he'd send $1200 for being so over (spoiler, he never did). Oct 28: Still have front door closet not working, nothing to stop water between backsplash and counter, bathroom spout not working, hole in bathroom ceiling, huge gaps between vent covers, no handles on cabinets, bathroom door in wrong direction. Oct 30: Was told Basement start date was Nov 7. Still hasn't fixed kitchen grout, door frame in living room area, light wasn't added in kitchen, didn't have seal in bathroom vanity. Nov 20: Middle floor still didn't have new appliances, light above sink, bathroom door painted, bathroom wall paint patch, closet door, living room door frame. Nov 29: Still hadn't poured leveler in the basement or finished painting the upstairs. Dec 4: Leveler came out messed up. Dec 6: Was told they'd be finished in the next 2-3 weeks, still had more leveler to pour. Dec 20: Still had the upstairs bathroom paint to patch, still had wall around new cabinets not painted. Jan 8, 2023: Still had hole in drywall in bathroom. Jan 11: Was told would start basement bathroom Jan 12. Jan 27. Still no bathroom updates in basement. Jan 29: Was told still on basement was: replace damaged/missing ceiling tiles, put in door locks, thresholds all doors, kitchen cabinets handles, vanity, toilet missing floor small piece for bathroom, clean up, appliances. Stairwell carpet. Middle floor: appliances, painting around cabinet door, drywall patch in bathroom. Said would be 100% done by next week. Feb 13: Was told they'd come February 14. Feb 14: After asking, was told they didn't make it there that day. Feb 28: Appliances in but don't fit with cabinets. Mar 3: Still asking for update on timeline for upstairs cabinet painting on bottom, moving old appliances, painting in a bedroom, bathroom vent. Apr 3: Still fixing red spacers embedded in downstairs shower tile, fan vent in basement bathroom, paint around ceiling in the main floor, holes where cabinets were in the main floor. May 4, 2023: Discovered they used my outdoor shed to store a ton of items and left them there without throwing old trash away or moving them back inside.
