On June 12, Goodies texted me: "We got your pre order for END OF AUGUST pick up" and "We will send you a text when it's ready for pick up." August came and went with no update. I followed up myself in mid-September and was told, "our factory messed up this particular style and the corrected shipment will arrive second week of oct." Four months after ordering, I still don't have the stools. I understand production problems happen. My issue is the lack of communication or accountability. When I expressed frustration about the delay, the response was simply, "we can issue you a refund if you'd like." I've also seen other customers describe similar experiences with delays and poor communication, so mine does not seem unique. I still really liked the stools, but the way this order has been handled has been very frustrating.

I picked up a couple of books to flip through. I lingered, and never once did any of the two people working there acknowledge me with a hello. The shop is now clearly skewing to a female demographic. The staff here are all really great and everything from customer service to final product was excellent. The stitching and quality of the leather is exactly what I had hoped for. I have also purchased a couple lamps by Humanhome from here, they're locally made, beautifully crafted.
