We had Mr. Mike's cater our wedding last November. The food was above and beyond amazing!…read more However, there was a mix up on time when they were supposed to come set up for our wedding. We tried to rush to the venue last minute because they showed up a day early. After that, the head caterer was extremely rude. The day of the wedding, the same male caterer also made several rude comments to our family members who were inquiring about when the appetizers would be served. He said to my grandmother (who paid for the caterer) "they'll be ready when you see me set them on the table." He made this comment to various other guests as well. Besides this man, the rest of the staff were friendly and a pleasure to work with. The food was amazing and we got a lot of compliments on how great it was. They are also very fairly priced!

Dragging them through areas with our personal belonging, and walking them through the bridal party! They served us EXPIRED BEER. Couldn't even be bothered to pick up the trash(candy bar wrappers, pop cans, LIGHTERS), mow, pull weeds with thorns, or wash off the nasty build up off the fences at the outdoor wedding space. Acted as though we were in the way during it all. In fact the coordinator made my mothers wedding planner CRY bad enough she had to be taken home (all for sitting outside of the reception space). After spending THOUSANDS (nearly 10) for this "beautiful" wedding venue.... My parents were refunded an entire three hundred dollars.... DISGUSTING way to treat humans, let alone ones flipping the bill

It was Easter and I'm sure people called off. No huge deal. The food was hit and miss. The food in the chaffing dishes was WAY overcooked. They would have been so much better if they were not fully cooked and THEN put in the chaffing dishes to cook the rest of the way. I had a piece of pork from one of the dishes that was so overcooked and dry, I could have used it as a hockey puck. The carving station, my favorite part, was AMAZING! I got the prime rib and it was so tender and juicy. Perfection! The breakfast buffet they had set up was also great. They had bacon that literally melted in my mouth. Yummmmm! The salad bar, well, I didn't go to it. Why waste my belly space on salad?! I won't do it!! The drink station was pretty cool because you could serve yourself. They had orange juice, cranberry juice, iced tea, hot coffee, and various sodas. The dessert table was pretty good. Some items were awesome like the pistachio cheesecake but other items were just ok. They also had a guy singing live who was great! Overall, a nice place! I would consider using them for catering an event if they could insure that the food would not be severely overcooked.

We started several months out from the wedding with the tasting. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and had samples of their entire menu for us to try. They met us before business hours, answered every question we had, and even sent food home with us. We were so hooked that we barely looked anywhere else for a caterer. At the wedding reception they provided a great family style meal that all of the guests were more than pleased with. We got nothing but raving reviews from the guests and even had one of the vegetarian guests smother her salad in one of the sauces that Old Carolina provided. They did, however, forget a portion of the meal that we paid for. Once we identified the error, they worked to rectify the issue. They were quick to make the monetary fix and were nothing but courteous and professional in the process. Despite the error, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company to anyone who wanted to use them for catering. And, for the quality and amount of food we got, we would have paid close to twice what we did anywhere else. You would be hard pressed to find this quality food with the level of customer service and professionalism anywhere else in NE Ohio. Had the mistake not happened, I would have easily rated this establishment with 5 stars instead of 4.
