Massive. I've been a fan when my friend Pat F. mentioned At Home in Co-op City a few years ago. I'm a bigger fan now that I've visited. I like HomeGoods, Home Sense and similar stores- but At Home EXCEEDS what you'd find in a typical, reasonably-priced home decor store. While nothing beats real florals- my major go-tos in the last couple of years have been faux florals I use in my home to add a touch of nature with 'moody' hues that I've been looooving for a while that bring to mind: cozy, warm and charm with their muted colors. Plus using faux florals allows me to switch up the decor in my dining room, foyer, or any other nook during the different seasons. Such as spring with vintagey-color tulips, summer with baby breaths+moody greenery, or fall with deep colors for a seasonal flair. At H. is organized into separate sections and each specialize in a particular type of product: the picture frames, outdoor plant pots- from small to jumbo, outdoor patio sets, kitchenware, etc, Floor service is nil the day I was here- but checkout with my girl Theresa was awesome! Ok. I'm biased! I am a home decor fanatic and once I realized an At Home was opening at the site of the old Kmart I nearly crashed trying to make that last minute right into the lot. (Jk) This store is a decor fanatics fix. The location is HUUUUUUGE and they make great use of vertical space. The place was about 80% stocked and it was STILL jam packed with great items. I actually got a little overwhelmed trying to decide which way to navigate the store. I'm in a typical NYC apt but OMG did this make me want to expedite the search for a house. Ill freely admit I was on a dopamine high, but I am self aware enough to know my limit and just left with a few candles, no thanks to my 21 y.o who was as excited as I was. Oh I am DEFINITELY going back...I won't be surprised it staff begins to know me on sight! Lol read more

First time visiting At Home and def will not be my last... I was actually planning my next visit while still shopping! This place is huge!! And has a massive selection of styles. I felt like a kid at Toy's R Us! I wanted to walk down every aisle but I got distracted by so many beautiful items, which made me turn and get off route. They lose one star for two reasons that have simple solutions... they had ONE register on a Saturday afternoon-- please hire more people! The second reason is the way things are organized... the space is huge so they should make the most out of every single corner. read more

If I could sum it up... it is basic as could be. Reminded me of a Home Depot/BJs. But not nearly as welcoming. For a HOME DECOR place, it didn't have a homey feeling at all. Visual department should create more "demo rooms" to really showcase some of the offerings. No music playing creates a very bland ambience. It was almost like the place was going out of business. While I understand this is a southern born brand, for it to survive in a state like NYC, you have to take cues from places like Target home (whom I feel has a much more robust and modern direction) or Home Goods. Also, no welcome or goodbye. Work on hospitality. Ironic for a southern franchise. Do better. Your store truly has all the potential. read more

When this location opened I was excited since I live in NYC. I usually go to the one in New Jersey. But this location is not very customer friendly. They have broken and opened damaged merchandise out for sell. Although they will give you a discount off if you decide to purchase a damaged item. It's just too many items they are selling that way. Also no tissue paper to wrap the more delicate items. They always seem to be out. This is the second I shopped there and limited or no tissue paper. But they will sell you a brown paper shopping bag. I was told by the Caucasian manager that was racially profiling me, following me are the store the whole time, " By law they have to sell me a brown paper shopping bags". No complimentary brown paper shopping even if you made a large purchase. read more

This store is HUGE but the inventory lacks uniqueness. There's aisle and aisle of repeated product and although the store I near it doesn't feel like home shopping. read more

Interesting store, huge Home Goods type store with much more stock. The price are not as reasonable as TJX store IMHO. But still a fun place to shop for home goods. read more
