You can find all your Saints, Sages, Candles, Baths, Floor washes etc. Right here. I must note how CLEAN this place was when I visited. Babbbbyyyy I've seen some horror shows with others so this was a beautiful visit. As a spiritual place, it should always be cleanly and presentable. High vibrations. Anything else is completely unacceptable. They maintain their high vibrations well. The staff was very pleasant and actually quite joyful. They have good prices, nothing too over the top from what I saw. Whatever your reason for coming in, I'm sure you won't regret it. I enjoyed my experience and I'll be back again soon since others simply can not compare.

The owners are really cool and carefully curate their offerings. NiLu is one of the few places I venture out to visit alone because I enjoy taking my time checking out the products. Stock is limited by design so if you find something you want, purchase immediately!!! I want the Harlem version of Monopoly but they're sold out every time I pop in. Service is always on point too.i encourage you to check them out. I often go in looking for gifts for others but leave with items for myself.

I have been to many stores that look like this anywhere from New York to Paris. To others, who are used to to Big Box fabric shops such as Joann's Fabric, this place may seem chaotic. I was so blown away by their prices, that I filled a luggage with my purchases and paid the $30 bucks fee to bring it home to Florida and I still saved a ton. They have everything! No real order, or like we say in Spanish: No tiene pies, ni cabeza. But you can see a little where they tried to organize their chaos. The store is very small and they just have a lot. I also saw a basement where I could see home fabrics, didn't look into them. The sales associate who helped me was also super nice and friendly. Gave me a little extra discount too since I got quite a bit. This shop will be my first stop on my next trip to the Big Apple!

When we arrive the store owner kept staring at my friend (who is black, I am white) during our entire shopping experience. We were average customers among the few others in the store so we felt extremely uncomfortable and awkward simply walking around and being stared at as if my friend was unwanted in the space. My friend was basically racially profiled, unfortunately giving us a racist impression of the owner resulting in us cutting our trip short due to my friend being in emotional distress. The place is very small so it makes for a very intimate experience. I assume only locals visit, if your from outside the neighborhood or not white I recommend avoiding this store

While there are some cheaper, simpler gift options here, they more feature gifts on the nicer end--mid priced or higher. They have a good selection of Waterford crystal items or wool sweaters and scarves alongside your more colorful green and "gold" (sorry, but that's orange, Ireland) items and children's clothes. They also have some nice, tasteful jewelry options, and it is perhaps no surprise a good place to go if you need a nice gift for a Catholic ceremony like a communion or confirmation. I bought a nice leather bound journal as a gift for my aunt, and a confirmation gift for my nephew, which they both loved. In brief, they offer pretty much what you'd expect or want if you were looking for some nice souvenirs or gifts to bring home from your trip to Ireland--with the convenience of only leaving the bounds of New York City by one whole block. Which is really a very fair summation of the whole Woodlawn experience!
