I'm a fan of deep tissue massages, and Candace did not disappoint. She had an impressive understanding of how everything connected and managed to work out a lot of my tension. If stretching and salt baths could fix my pain and tightness I wouldn't be looking for a masseuse.

Whole on table, therapist tells me it costs $10 more for deep work. Ok fine. Then when I go to pay she tells me a 30% tip is recommended and expected. Then she tells me since $85 massage (now a $95 massage should get $30 tip. On top of that they won't take a check and add 4% on top of total and tip for use of credit card . Totally ruined what was a very good massage. I usually tip 15 to 20% tip based on service. Here my $85 massage ended up costing me over $130!

I noticed that one bed was made with a rose on it and the other one didn't look to be set up. The sheet was folded up and I had to undo it myself. The massage therapist didn't ask what areas I needed focusing on which although they usually do, some massage therapists will go based off the muscle and can tell what area require more attention. However, the massage felt like a whole lot of nothing. Just a series of rubs and pressure on my body in an aggressive way that wasn't accomplishing much. The therapist spent a lot of time massaging my scalp which ended up just putting my hair into a giant knot afterwards. We went to give a 20% tip for each therapist but was rejected at the front counter demanding we give a 35% tip each?! Mediocre massage and service, will not be returning nor would recommend.
