Early January, my husband called and they said it was on its way. Unfortunately, my husband passed away a few days later. We never did receive the gift card. I called T-Mobile to find out what was going on and they told me I'm not authorized for them to help me. I tried to get online with T-Mobile but they want to verify that the person online is my husband by sending a text to his phone which has been disabled due to his death. I'm not sure if the $200 promotion is a scam since we should have gotten that back in October and never did. I'm switching carriers since T-Mobile is a rip-off.

The sales person told her she could upgrade to a new iphone for free. She didn't understand that this included purchasing an additional line (not even associated to a phone) for 3 years with all these extra add ons. Also the phone was not free it was just a 3 year payment plan with no upfront costs. Her costs were drastically higher. I told her to return the phone and deactivate the service. She returned it within 7 days and they turned her old phone back on. I noticed that she was still paying for the phone and the service a month later. She returned to the store twice and they assured her that it was returned and there was something wrong with the system. Now more than 2 months later she is still getting billed. I called Verizon (not the store because there is no possible way to contact them directly) and they said that they never registered the phone as returned so there is no way they can help.
