*edited because Tom lied about Tamry's name, it is actually Tamara Peters.* This store location is an absolute disgrace. Another person on my account, whom I had made an authorized user years ago, went in to purchase a new phone. The store worker, Tamry, told him that he was not. He had to call me as the account owner and I offered to verify my identity and provide whatever was necessary to assist with the purchase. Tamry rudely informed me that I needed to be physically present in the store to "verify my identity". This was obviously not true, as I had purchased my own phone recently through the app. As Tamry either could not or would not assist, I made the purchaser an authorized user on the account THROUGH THE APP, which Tamry failed to mention as an option when she was arguing with me about "company policy". I then called to confirm that the authorization went through. Another employee named Tom proceeded to be just as rude as Karen- I mean Tamry. He said that he had been listening in on my phone conversation, which is a felony in the State of New Hampshire. When I asked him to verify Tamry's name, he refused and started asking me questions to which I answered honestly. He then told me that he was not part of AT&T but an "authorized retailer" and was a franchise owned by "a man named Akbar". Aside from being completely racist, after additional questioning Tom claimed that they were corporate owned and that he did not know the difference between an "authorized retailer" and "corporate franchise". Basically, just do everything through the app because people either aren't being trained properly and have no idea what they are talking about or are purposefully giving misinformation to cover their own asses. Keep on wiretapping guys, it's a great look for a phone company. read more
