This store signed me up for multiple services without my consent. I never signed or pressed a button to consent for any services, which seemed odd but with COVID-19 I assumed they were trying to limit customers having to interact with devices. Boy was I wrong. The sales rep knew I what I wanted, but apparently proceeded to sign me up for multiple services I never requested. To say the least it's been a hassle over the last two months trying to cancel these services. Absolutely illegal business practices here, so please avoid this store and learn from my mistake. read more

I have been a customer with ATT over 10 years. I went to ATT store along with my wife to combine our accounts in to a single account instead of separate a/c's to get first responder's deal. We met JOSH the att representative at store. When we asked him about calling plan he told that "all the details are available online" it is better to check it out or call customer service, We went to local store after calling customer service as they told us since we have give a copy of our id as proof to get first responders deal, it is better to go to local store. It is same when we asked how to unlock the phone. He was rude throughout out our meeting and basically his answers are always another questions back to us and his attitude towards the us as customers were really bad. I saw another bad review regarding Josh on 10/5/2013, so it is he is still here after seven years and treating customers badly. Since it is a ATT retail store i hope ATT or concerned people will look in to this issue and make your customer representative treat customer with respect and dignity. read more

Ordered my phones online (because I was skeptical of the customer service of the store) and found out I could just pick up my phones at a store instead of waiting for shipping. Very convenient, I thought. Walked in, long pause, "how can I help you?", I told the guy what I was doing, he asked my name, then NOTHING. The only time he spoke to me was to get my drivers license and card number. I asked a question, received a short blank answer. After he finished and put the phones in a bag, he rushed me through the "have a great day" crap and started looking at other customers coming in. Basically, trying to get me out of the store quickly so he can get a sale. CUSTOMER SERVICE COMES FIRST GUY! If you want to get a phone or deal with anything that has to do with AT&T, I highly suggest calling the customer service line. The customer service there is unbeatable! Love AT&T, not this store... UPDATE: Guy screwed up our phones and when I ordered a watch, the customer service line had to reinput the IPIs and fix the entire setup for the phones. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been a loyal AT&T customer for close to 10 years. My iPhone screen was smashed and I decided to stop by my local AT&T store to figure out my options... I was considering buying a new iPhone (either the newest model or a cheaper, older model) but needed to get more info on my plan. When I walked in, it was certainly busy for 7:30 on a Thursday night, but considering there were at least 4 staff members working... I'm not sure why no one could be bothered to at least greet me and get my name on the wait list. I waited for 30 minutes, and I was not even acknowledged by a salesperson. With no end in sight, I turned around and walked out. From this point on, I'll be purchasing my Apple products directly from the Apple Store. AT&T customer service sucks! Phones are a BIG purchase, and I expect a little more respect and consideration. read more

I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for over four years now. After deciding to upgrade THREE phones on a five phone family plan, my wife and I decided to go back to the store that USE to treat us fairly well. After experiencing a major debacle on a mobile wifi unit I purchased earlier in the year (which resulted in harassing phone calls from a collections agency). It was later determined that the store associate made a mistake and never cancelled my account which resulted in me being charged for an item I didn't have. After going back and forth with the collections agency and AT&T. My issue was FINALLY resolved nearly 5 months later. The folks at the corporate AT&T Retention department went above and beyond and offered some deep discounts. So, upgrade time. Knowing that there wasn't going to be any kind of discounts on the iPhones....we decided to go back to this store to upgrade any way. (We knew we'd have to call AT&T Corporate to settle on some of the discounts at a later date) We sat down and spoke with associate Josh. Advised him of the previous issues, what the retention department offered and this guy basically brushed us off. "We can't do that." Shrugged his shoulders and basically told us to call them and do it through them. Dude. Your store messed up months ago. Nearly ruined my credit. You knew this and we gave you and your store a chance to right a wrong. A chance to bring in a decent sale (I.E. - three large capacity smart phones) and you just shrug your shoulders and brush us off??!?!?!?! Nice job Josh. You and your Jersey Shore haircut will NEVER see our business again and I'd HIGHLY recommend ANYONE using AT&T to take the extra drive up the road to the Central Avenue AT&T Corporate Store. Spend the extra 5-10 minute drive. It'll be worth it in the end folks. read more

Great employees that helped me with any questions or concerns I had. However I don't appreciate the up sell of all the overpriced cases when I got my iPhone 6s. The cases were at least 50% more expensive than ones you would get exactly the same at Walmart or target. Also I didn't like how when they brought out my new phone from the back they assumed I would want this crappy tablet for a penny with the new phone purchase. I fell for this so called "deal" and am now stuck with a crappy tablet with two years of service fees that I have to pay for and am locked into. Don't fall for this like I did and decline all these deals and only buy the item you came here for. read more

Horrible store, desparate employees, crappy management. I went into the store looking for a rep that used to help me and she was long gone, good for them. The one bright spot taken away means that I never have to set foot in there again. I went into the store on a Saturday and tried to add a line to my phone plan and when I walked in the door, the reps all looked at each other to see who would get off their FAT butts to assist me. One finally did and the guy (had a stupid haircut) was only interested in offering me home security. I feigned interest and the guy got desparate. He went to the back repeatedly then out comes his manager, a woman named Dena. I was offered free accessories worth hundreds of dollars to sign up for a service with the intention that I should cancel the very next day. I was weary (rightfully so) and they seemed extremely desparate to get a sale for whatever reason. Why sell something and tell the customer to flat out cancel a service the next day? SHADY! My friend talked me into it and we agreed, walking home with a 300 dollar blue tooth speaker. We asked if there was any kind of catch and the manager said no. She knew I didn't intend on keeping this service. I called customer service the next day and cancelled the service yet a few days later I received boxes of equipment at my house and now I have a bill for a service that was never installed! I returned the equipment to the store and now att is saying I never shipped it back!!! I went back to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do and that I would hear something in a few days. A week has passed and nothing! I probed a rep at their mall location in crossgates and she said that the Mohawk Commons store has been doing this for a long time and that specific location has the reputation or, and I quote, 'fake sales to boost their rank.' Well, I am a pissed off customer and will be taking legal action against this store. DO NOT DO BUSINESS THERE, THEY CAN HAVE THE F'NG SPEAKER BACK! read more

Went in to activate a phone, find out other options, ;possibly upgrade. I was greeted promptly, then left for over an hour. I was put on the list on the screen with 3 people ahead of me. I finally reached my limit, tired and hungry -- so left. If I had known how long it would take, I could have gone home (2 blocks away) and came back when they were free. There were 4 employees there and, it appeared, 3 parties being served at that time. I may look for another location or make an appointment ahead of time. read more

Wish Yelp offered 0 stars. They are terrible here. We have been loyal AT&T customers for over 10 years and went in after speaking with AT&T customer care, and having them tell us our issue could be resolved with a quick stop in a corporate store. Well we went in and worked with Josh the manager. What a rude, disrespectful person. He told us that there was no way he could help us with our issue and "didn't care what customer care said". We will be changing our cell plans immediately, too bad. read more

Overly pushy with the upselling and staff seem to be unfamiliar with their system.. When I stepped in the store I knew what I wanted to spend and I was upfront about it.. They insisted to no end on me spending a fortune on a phone and accessories.. In all, if I were to have purchased all the merchandise and feature they said was "necessary" I would have walked out of there spending around $1,200. I Also had 2 different sales personnel trying to fix some sort of glitch in my account and neither of them seem to know the system well. I wasn't anticipating on being in a cell phone store for almost 2 hours, it was very inconvenient. read more

The employees have no idea what they're talking about. I did my research prior to going to the store, and the employee kept giving me misinformation and wouldn't check anything I was asking for! Spoke to 2 different employees on 2 different occasions and they both told me ATT would pay off my current contract with Verizon. They took my account number and after the switch I bought in the bill from Verizon and they told me they never said that they would pay off the contact. Filed a complaint with the NYS department of law and they reached out to ATT to compel them to pay off the contract as was verbally stated by their employees. Carrie Ware of ATT called me from Texas and stated she was disappointed by the employees false statements but would only see if I could quality for the switch program, which still left me with having to pay 300.00. They also tried to sign me up for direct TV and I said no and they charged my card that day anyway and signed me up. Their practices are illegal and shabby at best. Stick with Verizon read more

Went there to upgrade. Long time customer. I was told there was about a 45 minute wait. Advised to go shopping and come back when told, via text. Meanwhile watched them wait for about 20 minutes for a member of one party to show up while I waited. 2 hours and 5 minutes later I get a text. Never again! read more
