I fell for the free iPad as Patricia R. and I agree with her that it was all a scam! I returned to the store immediately, but they refused to take the iPad back! We were there for close to 15 minutes and she never said hello, no welcome to Verizon, no I'll be with you in a minute... Not one word to acknowledge that we as customers had walked into the store. I don't know who is training these employees but when customers call or enter they should be greeted immediately. We were coming in to transfer over from AT&T three phone lines. Apple and Verizon customer service told me her phone (the hardware) was fine but when I went into this store, the woman who helped me, the blonde hair and glasses, told me I needed a new phone and the eSIM card with only work for 24 hours. My wife's phone was having problems with her physical SIM card and service where she couldn't connect. Something didn't sit well with me when the woman told me not to spend $30 for an eSIM card but rather sign up for a new plan that would charge me an extra $25 a month or $900 for the next three years. She was pushy about it and put a lot of pressure on me to trade in my wife's phone and spend more on a new plan. I left the store, and later came back and I was happy that another worker came over and helped me. I bought the eSIM card and my wife's phone has been working without one issue. So let's see, spend $30 for an eSIM card or be told I have to buy a new phone and spend $900 over the next three years??? I do not recommend this store. They just want to rip you off and buy a new phone and upgraded plan.

So of course I turned to the Yelp Gods who helped me find Brad and I'm so glad I did. I called at 11am and he was able to see me by noon! He said it would take about an hour, but 28 minutes later my phone was ready! My phone looks brand new and is working perfectly, and I honestly can't praise him highly enough. Just such a sweet man who absolutely knows what he's doing, and for a much cheaper price than the Apple store. Thank you again Brad, and I bought a new phone case and screen protector!!

The iPad broke Fri morning, Brad had it fixed as promised within 48 hours, and we had it in hand Sunday afternoon. It took about 20 mins to get to Brad's place from Congress Hall. Not bad and even encouraged us to stop at Cold Spring Village one way (which was surprisingly fun). Brad was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I think the price was also very fair, probably better than what I would have paid elsewhere. He also kindly gave me a recommendation for an indestructible case, which is currently en route thanks to Amazon. Thanks Brad!!

I went in to purchase a phone that I had already looked everything up online and double checked with an customer service rep over the phone so I knew cost plan and everything . But I decided I wanted to be impatient and pick the phone up in person . So I go to this location and begin processing everything . Add the line , the store personnel unpacks the phone and begins updating the phone not even importing the information yet . When the rep was unable to properly set up my plan she called into AT&T and proceeded to impersonate me ! Instead of advising the customer service rep that she was store personnel ! Like this is insane! Then my original rep from AT&T customer service calls me back as her and I previously discussed Incase the store had an issues or the phone wasn't available.I guess I had an intuition that it would be nonsense ! So I asked the store rep to cancel everything , this woman tells me oh there will be a $55 restocking fee !!! Like I haven't even touched that phone ! They are so unprofessional! When I requested a manager I get told only this lady was available and she was the manager . The lady helping me had slippers on and was in a sweat outfit ! The other in store rep who said she was the manager was in a stained shirt and leggings . Since when does a big company like that not manage personnel and allow the "manager" to be so Sunday clean around the house casually dressed for work ! Ugh I would not go to this location . Update ; spoke with the district manager and he has rectified the situation . Very professional and a pleasure to deal with . Good luck training those employees .

This store on Asbury ave is without a doubt the most inconvenient Verizon store I have ever been to. The peopole working there have 0% tech experience (which is why there was a line every time I've had to go in there) and dont know much about the products and services they do offer. I went into the store to get a prepaid sim card and what shouldve taken 5 minutes to put in the new card and pay the new balance of 45 bucks plus 10 for the card and activation took hours. As I write this review, my phone is STILL not activated. Allow me to explain... I was in the store at 3 o clock. at about 4:30-5:00 I was finally leaving with my new pre paid plan all ready to go. All though the phones service wasnt activated right away, she explained the it could take up to an hour to actually come back on and start working since Verizon needs to activate it. After an hr and a half I brought the phone back explaining the service had not yet been connected so she did some looking on the computer and realized that the sim card she had put into my iPhone was not valid simcard. If I wouldnt have come back the phone wouldve NEVER turned on. (I thought it was fishy how she took the simcard out of the credit card sized case they're shipped in was not normally fastened into the cc sized case, it had been TAPED in. Yes, thats right, taped, as if somebody had taken it out at an earlier time when it was brand new, and then returned the simcard after having problems and instead of throwing it away, they taped it back in the case in which it was shipped i assuming it would work again, so instead of being treated like a valued customer, I was given a faulty sim card in the hopes that it woud work. When I got back to the store she realized that everything on the Verizon side of things was fine however the sim card was faulty. ( I wonder why? Since it wasnt a brand new sim card and had been taped to look as if it was thats why!) She then replaced it with a brandnew sim card and told me that my service should be restored within the next hour and that all that had to be done was update the new sim card information on her computer. I finally went home happy, or so I thought Another hour later (its now 7 o'clock as im typing this review my phone has still not yet been activated. Im about to walk back over to the store for a THIRD time in one day. Again, i'll reiterate, this whole process should taken 5-10 minutes. It has now taken 4 hours...d After waiting as much time that my day could offer (and then some) I had become frustrated. I withheld my discouragement inside and took pity upon the customers who were behind me. With all of this in mind, after today, I will not be returning to this store besides to pay for my montly bill. Im keeping my fingers crossed thta when i go back she'll finally be able to help me get my service on, especially after waiting this long and already have paid. Point being, the employees at this store have absolutely NO idea what theyre doing!!!! The last two times I went there she had to call customer service and have them walk her through the process.
