The lady rep is very rude with no communication skills. the is ay she speak to customers is very unprofessional. without finishing a sentence she have a response. the 2 reps that are newer are clueless with no guidance. she leave the young man alone to figure it out when he clearly have no clue and trying his best to. he looks scared to ask her a question because her response is demeaning. MARCO handled a four person crowd at 10:00 opening. With no pressure and absolute understanding for each person. Assisted first with a claim, she left with a smile and please when she left. Next was a woman looking to have yet another phone set up, this guy guided her through the process so for future troubles. She can handle and be self sufficient. While in between helping her he jumped to me, my phone crashed. While he helped me pick out and pay for a new phone. Person number four was a return customer from the day before. Handled his transaction while we waiting for system to finish processing my transaction. I'm confident enough to say EVERYONE of us walked out of this location feeling valued and appreciated to be AT&T customers. This Guy is Phenomenal!! read more

I am in Verizon custom for the 22 years and I had a terrible issue with Verizon so I decided to go in to the AT&T store located in Poughkeepsie at 1936 South Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY, when they're looking to become a new customer and then I walked in, and I had a few questions and the gentleman I went to ask the question two seems to have been very rude and annoyed for me, having questions regarding their cell phones, his service, and the amounts that they charge monthly, after 20 minutes of going back-and-forth with my questions he was very annoyed at me asking questions, so I told him just how I felt his customer service was awful. He was very condescending and I walked out and I went back to the Verizon store which is located on field 82 in Hopewell Junction New York, and the gentleman I dealt with there told him just how I felt his customer service was awful. Spent the entire afternoon and ended up with the s0-called manager throwing my new phone on the floor. Here's the store. Spent over $1000 on a new iPhone and accessories. At two o'clock, they said it would take an hour and 24 minutes to charge. I returned at three thirty and when I asked the manager why it was still at an hour and 24 he brushed past and said, "It takes what it takes." I returned at four and it was still on 1:24. After being ignored for ten minutes, I realized that they had never entered the code required for the transfer. At this point, I must have said this was BS. And the manger flipped out and attacked me for using "language" in his store. (I didn't know an individual owned AT&T. When I said no had paid any attention to the device, he threw the phone on the floor and ordered me to leave "his store," adding "everything is on cameras." I said, "Good, because there's a record of how rude you are and that you literally threw a brand new, thousand dollar phone on the floor. ATT might want to rethink their hiring practices, if this is how their managers provide customer service and all of this went down in front of other employees and two other customers. read more

The cell reception for AT&T in this area has deteriorated extremely over the last year or so. My calls are constantly dropping and cutting out. There are numerous dead spots popping up everywhere that didn't use to be there. I don't recommend this service provider if you live in the Hudson Valley. The staff in the store (Poughkeepsie) are amazing, but the cell phone service is pretty terrible around here. read more

Went to get some help setting up my new phone that me boyfriend bought me for Christmas. I was having difficulty getting the fingerprint option to work and also getting voice mail set up. Employee was totally unwilling to help me. Insisted that I needed to do this at home. I explained that I had tried but it wasn't working. He handed me a phone # to call for assistance and walked away. I guess once they got their money for the phone and plan my boyfriend paid for they weren't interested in providing customer support. I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with at&t. So Christmas morning my husband phone would not connect to internet or cellular service. Found out there was outages in my area for days! I called the 1-800 number Sunday morning. They did a diagnostic test and said the SIM card was not registering and that we needed a new one. I asked if I could go to the closest store for a SIM card was told yes. So I head to dutchess turnpike location. Called once I was outside and they said come in. Once I was in the store told them my phone has been down since Friday morning since the tower was down and I needed a new SIM card. The first thing that a man named Dre told me was he was not aware of any phone outage a d his phone was fine. It was about 5:15pm and the store closed at 6pm. Dre continued to stare at his watch. I was charged for my SIM card and was told because there under new management and as the reason for the charge of the SIM card. Mind you the towers were down in my area. I found Dre to be very rude saying that my phone that is barely a year old was beat up along with advising me towers were not down although I told Dre that at&t customer support said towers were down in my area. Dre changed my SIM card did a test call but forget to reset my network settings so that the cellular service worked as well so I had to come right back once I realized phone was not working fully. I told Dre I will never return and he apologized and said others felt differently. Dre did not make me feel welcomed and was rude by looking at his watch as it got closer to 6pm. My experience was that Dre acted as if I was lying about the tower outage I was informed about from customer service and said my phone was beat up although there was jot a scratch on my phone and protected by a tough case. Dre said he replaced the SIM card and could not help me further. I reset my network settings myself after I remembered what customer service did this as a trouble shoot on the phone earlier Sunday morning. I felt rushed and Dre appeared to be lacking knowledge. I will never return to this store location again. I have been a customer for over 20 years and Never Had And Experience like this ever! read more

Zero stars The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Ordered online for store pick up. Paid for it. Got an e mail that phone was ready to be picked up. Drove 10 miles to pick it up. That was 3:45pm. Sales rep admitted that he doesn't know how to process the pick up and had to go ask the manager in the back. After several times back and forth, I ask if the manager could come out front and assist. Nobody knew how to process the transaction. When the manager, John Fondacaro, opened the door he was visibly upset with my asking for his assistance. He proceeded to speak to me in a rude, unconcerned, and patronizing way. He declined to call customer service to find out what the issue was. Told me to call myself. Before stepping outside to call 611, I asked for his supervisors name and he responded that there is no supervisor. I went outside to call 611 and explained the situation. The customer service rep asked if I supplied ID, which I did. They they told me I would have to report the AT&T STORE MANAGER to THEIR OWN FRAUD DEPT. if he refuses to give me the phone. I was put on hold and 51 minutes later, Carlos from fraud picked up the line to tell me he could only file a report/complaint for me. Still no phone. Drive 10 miles back home. I go to my online account to cancel the order and I can't because the the Poughkeepsie store processed the pick up but never gave me the phone. Now I call headquarters in TX to file a complaint. Finally supervisor gets on the phone and calls the store. Tells the store to cancel my order. Now I have to wait for refund before I can re order. 7:00pm. Over 3 hour waste of time. Manager was extremely unprofessional. One of the sales reps had his belt below his buttocks showing his underwear to the customers. A direct reflection of the manager and AT&T. I was at the store from 3:45 to 7:00 and accomplished zero. I hope someone at the executive level looks at the stores video surveillance footage to confirm my complaint and the unprofessional dress code.I feel like a real sucker for being such a good customer. Very unappreciated. Customer service contacted via e mail 10 days ago with a promise to call me in person the next day, and that also never happened. I do not recommend this store. read more
