Whew, this update is a stark difference form my original review last year. Clearly they have updated some staffing and on my latest visit in to upgrade my watch, I got one of the good ones, Mel. I popped in on a Tuesday afternoon with low expectations and semi-high hopes of a quick and painless process to upgrade my Apple Watch 7 to the Ultra 2. Upon walking in, we waited for a couple of minutes then were approached by Mel. I shared my goal and she got things moving. She went to the back and grabbed the watches they had available, let me choose, added the line, processed my trade in and got me all set, all within about 15 minutes. The manager sat in the corner and had me wait 15 minutes for someone to help me while he did nothing. After the associate came out she said I had to call AT&T customer service because she couldn't help me I had been on hold with them for 45 minutes and then it said call dropped, then called again and the call dropped after another 45 minutes. DO NOT USE AT&T they do not care about you!!! read more

I had gotten internet , in my name showed my license and everything, I had service with them 11 months, let them take my money automatically every month, they allowed a person who wasn't on my account to make changes and put it another name without my knowledge, Katrina Davis is a fraud, she called me and cursed me out after I reported her, she called me from her personal phone . read more

It is March and we have had stupid AT&T phone service since July 2020. Our bill is still wrong. We have called and talked to them for hours each time with the same assurance it would be corrected. Received bill today March 4th and guess what it is still wrong. 8 months and they can't get it right. AT&T has the worse customer service. I wish I could get my old Version phones back but they tell me it is not possible. I guess they do that so you are stuck with them. Doing everything possible to get away from them. Also have AT&T U-verse and Internet that is terrible. read more

I came in to setup a new wireless account. The representative I worked with was extremely flustered and would curse about her job and wanting to go home. She had to contact her corporate number a few times to get my line ported and would be extremely rude to her own call center. After I was setup I found later that she added mobile protection plans to my account and lied to me about their current promotions. My national discount plan was not applied, my activation fees were not waived, and the BOGO device plan was not applied. At this point I'm locked into two brand new iPhone contacts and have been paying for insurance plans that were never presented to me. Stay far and clear of setting up accounts at this physical store! read more

Honestly I want to say the store customer service is lacking because of the employees, but truly AT&T is the main root of the problem. AT&T has nothing to offer. Therefore, the employees do not have anything to offer the customers. AT&T has really been a disappointment from day one. The ONLY positive thing is I can get service inside my house. Now, on the daily, we do experience dropped calls, complete service loss, and we maintain a pretty steady 1 bar at home. Sometimes 2 bars.. if the wind is not blowing or if it's not cloudy. AT&T has not one single perk when signing up and they offer nothing that makes our regularly changing monthly bill worth looking past the fact that our bill is 240 one month then 260 the next and then 280 and next 340 then next it drops down to 240-280 again and so on and so forth. The constant changing of our bill is awful, especially when we do nothing different for it to change. I absolutely do not recommend AT&T to anyone. I ALWAYS recommend Verizon though, so if you're in the market, I'd exercise Verizon as an option if possible! ‍ read more

NOT a good experience. I've been coming here for about 5 years and they've never been spectacular, however, they've gotten a lot worse. My husband needed to upgrade his phone and the lady was very disinterested until she found out he was going to spend a significant amount of money, then she perked up. The employees are slow, not very nice, and the store is continually short staffed. Save yourself....don't go here. read more

It's taken more than an hour and a half waiting for three staff members to help their customers leaving everyone else still waiting. Either they are severely understaffed or don't know how to do their jobs. One of the workers disappeared after finishing with her customer apparently done with her shift, leaving the waiting customers to wait even longer. Still no one has been helped since I walked in the door. They do not seem to have any urgency in helping their clients. What an awful company... if they treat their employees like their employees treat us, no wonder their workers don't care. read more

Terrible customer service. I called to see the status of my new phone delivery, lady answered with hello? I asked if this was ATT, she replied with a sarcastic yes then hung up. Came in store, said I was next in line but that if I could wait in my car because of Covid, waited in my car an hour before I decided to leave. Management needs to be held responsible for their employees. I'm switching from sprint and so far the local customer service has been terrible. I wish I could rate this store zero stars. This is the most inept group of employees I have ever seen. The manager needs to be fired. There was one sales person working and we were signed in and told we were next. After waiting 30 minutes we were told if we waited 20 more, more employees were coming in. REALLY?!? Who in the hell has all day to sit around and wait on lazy poorly managed people to meander in to work? We were 100% ignored and when we said we could wait any longer and that we were leaving the employee gave us a sarcastic "have a great day, have fun" Wow. Have purchased numerous phones and other services thru the Newnan Store over the years and found them to be very helpful. Today I went in to get some help concerning four phones that I recently purchased thru AT&T at a Target location. I simply wanted to make sure I had everything covered before shipping our 4 old phones back to AT&T. The lady who greeted me had no interest in helping me and would not even look at my paperwork. Not a good way to handle a customer and I did leave without any help being offered. read more

Always double check the information that you are given at this store because it is often incorrect.

We received very poor service at this location. Not all information given by representatives was correct and much of it was misleading. The store refused to help fix a costly error that one of their employees caused. If you are an AT&T customer, go through corporate or choose a different store. read more

Was spoken to very rudely by a manager. In regards to the issue of charging a fee for returning a faulty product one day after purchase, I was told I would have to pay the fee unless I only returned the phone rather than purchasing another model. I was told the issue was because it was a "single transaction." When I asked if I could complete the return and purchase a new phone in a separate transaction, the response was, "so you want to leave the store, come back in and pretend to be a new customer?" When I explained I didn't want to play pretend, just simplify by doing two transactions to avoid a $35 fee on a free phone, I was told I was trying to "play the system" and asked if that's how I like to do business. After an email to corporate, they apologized and tried to correct the situation but the actual store manger (the rude person was in fact not a manager) called and repeatedly called the incident a "misunderstanding." I will not give this store my business again though I am a long time customer of AT&T and felt that their corporate customer service handled the situation well and readily admitted that the situation was inexcusable. read more

I was genuinely worried about going here after I read the online reviews. Had to psyche myself up for the "imaginary trouble" that I was about to get, but walked in at 2:17pm on 12/21/15 and was greeted immediately by the SM. He got my name and advised that I only had 1 person in front of me. After a 4 minute wait I was greeted by Dianne (?). She helped with activation and then put on the screen protector I bought. I was back in the car and leaving at 2:27! Sorry to those that had the issue but looks like they have fixed it. read more

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. AT&T overall is a terrible company. In 7 months two phones broke. I was told one thing by telephone and something else in the store. When I show frustration they acted like I was there child. Lied to me said I was talking to the manager when I wasn't. Then asked me to leave. Then lied about me to the manager said I was cussing. I never cussed I showed my frustration only. Manager finally fixed issue. read more

This location has some of the worst customer service I've ever received. The representatives have very poor attitudes and were rude when I tried to sign in. After 2 hours of waiting the reps continued to sign people in skipping over me and I had to ask 2 times to be put on the list. When we finally got service the rep informed me that the quote and trade in for my phone I had gotten the night before from the very same store was wrong. And if I wanted a new phone I would owe them money. I wasted a total of 3 hours in that store, was treated rudely, and left empty handed. Don't go to this store.
