Three stars is being generous. To make a long story short, we tried for a month to unsuccessfully move my wife's old number to my current cell phone plan. We finally gave up after multiple hours on the phone and two store visits and just decided to get my wife a new phone number. She's officially a Nashville local. Jk! Why the three stars? On the last store visit I was in an out in 30 minutes with a new cell phone, a new number for my wife and a few extra discounts added to my plan. After telling my harrowing story to the AT&T rep, who was blown away, he made life a lot easier. He listened to all my new billing questions and even took a look at my plan to see if he could trim the fat. Good news, he was able to get rid of few features that I never used and saved me about $30 a month. Why do cell phones companies play with our emotions like this?! Needless to say, good customer service goes a long way in my book. I'll most likely be with AT&T until they boot me from my unlimited everything plan. Then I'm out! read more

I came into the store today to go over my account and look at the new I phone for my son. Patrick went out of his way to answer all our questions, go over our account and make changes to lower our bill. My son and husband left with new phones. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable about the product and answered all of our questions. Thank you Patrick! read more

They don't help, don't accept return of equipment at the store, when I called to cancel they had trouble cancelling my account for hours, and I had to call multiple people, basically every step of the way they make it tedious and difficult so you will just get fed up and get charged. This specific store is not great, all 3 times I went in they failed to help me with basic stuff, (signing up for internet, cancelling, returning equipment) but it's mainly just the whole company stinks. If you live in my Juliet you can get cheaper internet with faster connection speed via TDS. read more

I went to this CORPORATE store to get my wife switched onto my plan (also an AT&T customer), and they were absolutely no help. As soon as we walked through the door, we were met with attitude and treated like garbage, not a PAYING customer. While in the store, we called AT&T customer service who was saying "there is no reason this store should not be able to help you"... the store chose not to help. The manager refused to talk to the AT&T customer service rep, and refused to assist with a very simple task. If you choose to buy a phone here, please keep in mind you will be given no further help if anything else is needed. They just want the sale. read more

Going to phone stores are the worst. You're there longer than you want to be. The sales associates make the process harder than is necessary even though there are always 10 of them standing around. You spend more money than you want to spend and they get you with their talk of plans and add-ons and accessories. Our experience today buying a new phone was painful for the very reasons i dread going to phone stores. The sales associate noticed that a bill was past due and wouldn't let us upgrade the phone. We said we'd pay the bill but they made us do two different transactions and they took forever to figure out why we couldn't do the upgrade to purchase the new phone. They must have asked to see a drivers license 10 times throughout that whole interaction which i don't understand and asked for the phone number another 10 times. The sales associate was unfriendly and disinterested in providing good customer service. The AT&T staff at this location were like robots and we were not pleased with our experience. read more

AT&T Store - The store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

The wife and I abhor going to cell phone stores. We ALWAYS have a problem with getting our accounts set up the way they should be, having something spelled wrong, having the wrong person identified as the primary on the account, or getting our cell phone numbers switched on the wrong phones. We went into this store to switch from Verizon to AT&T, purchase new iPhones, and to take advantage of a discount on the service as offered through my employer (which is nice). But we went in fully expecting a cluster-cluck. We weren't proven wrong. We had a wait to be connected with an employee to set up our new service. Understandable to the extent that there were quite a few customers in the store. What was frustrating was that there were plenty of employees, and many seemed to just be standing around doing nothing while folks waited for service. Several times we noticed that there were issues that seemed to take 3 associates to solve one problem. When we finally got paired with an associate, we were met with several ridiculous frustrations that should not have taken place. While she was relatively nice enough, had she not been trying to do too many things at once, including helping more than one person at a time, we likely would have had much better of an experience. She kept going back and forth between us and another guy, each time disappearing to the back of the store for what seemed like 5-6 minutes at a time. She didn't inform us she was helping someone else, or what she disappeared for so frequently and for so long while we were waiting to get our phones set up. - Strike 1. While attempting to get our phones service established and activated, she insisted on doing huge updates over the air, then going through an ENTIRE ICLOUD RESTORE (which for our phones meant over 20GB of data - EACH) while we sat there and waited. SERIOUSLY? I know most folks might still not really grasp "the cloud" yet, but if we'd have waited for both the update and the iCloud restore while there in the shop, we'd STILL be waiting. (*Note: Future cell phone customers of any service/brand, do NOT allow your agent to force you to do updates or restores while you wait. This can be done in a FRACTION of the time at home.) - Strike 2. This brings me to a huge beef I have with this particular store. They are dead center in Providence, a nice shopping area. They claim they are only allowed to have TDS crap internet, which provides them a whopping 6mbps for the ENTIRE STORE. This is simply unacceptable. We waited (wasted) over 30 minutes for a 52MB update that didn't even complete because the file could't download. This took (I kid you not) less than 90 seconds at home when connected to proper wi-fi. - Strike 3. As if this wasn't enough of a headache, there's more... A big no-no for us is charging us for items that weren't disclosed. (I'm mildly sure this is illegal, but haven't gone through the TCA recently to find the statute myself.) When preparing our charges/bill for review, we found out only after she'd printed all the forms that she charged us $7.99/mo. per phone for their insurance. Not once in our conversation did we ask for this, nor did she state it was going on the bill. She simply didn't inform us that insurance was being charged. UNACCEPTABLE. Never charge a customer without telling them. - Strike 4. Last, but certainly not least, was the complete lack of professionalism. Sadly, this was a result of not only our associate, but her (lack of) management. She spent the entire time she was assisting us watching a college football game on her cell phone... Seriously. So unprofessional. Who does that? I fully understand, as a huge football fan myself, wanting to support your team, etc. But never do that at work, and certainly not right in front of paying customers. Once again, UNACCEPTABLE. - Strike 5. At the end of the day, we walked out with working phones, but only after many frustrations and insisting that we complete the updates and restore process at home ourselves. Utter ridiculousness... This place needs to get it together, and the managers need to take control of their employees, emphasize professionalism, and someone needs to seriously tell them to STOP DOING UPDATES AND RESTORES on their slow @$$ internet! Get it together AT&T at Providence. (This is NOT a review of AT&T cell phone service, just their store at 401 S Mt Juliet Rd, Ste 230, 37122.) read more

AT&T Store - Employees standing around while people wait... - Mobile Phones Near Me - Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Went in to try and upgrade my phone and was dismissed pretty quickly. There was only one other customer so they weren't busy. The man who "helped" me never introduced himself and wasn't wearing a name badge, but as soon as I told him what I was wanting he very quickly told me it wouldn't be possible. I knew my phone was paid off and able for an upgrade yet he told me no. I left, went and looked on my app and sure enough I was right. I would be a little more understanding if he was at least kind throughout the process, but instead I was treated like an idiot who doesn't know anything. It's not that hard to be nice to people. read more

Dano and Tyler got me set up with new plan phone and transfer quick and easy. Dano was funny understanding and respectful. If I ever need anything I'm going right back to these guys considering it was my first time in the store and they took care of us. read more

I Hope you don't get Brenda who's too busy shopping for sweaters on her phone to assist customers or her employees. She huffs, puffs and eye rolls at every moVement she has to make to make sure I,m knew how much of an inconvience I was to her. When asking for a manager, because Brenda doesn't know how to return a phone, she flip flops between she doesn't know one to "I'm not giving you that information" Customers don't matter here. Brenda makes sure you know you are wasting her time, and she won't even find someone that cares to help you. read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. Horrible service. Horrible wait. Employees act like a bag of asses with no regards as to what real customer service is. read more

Went in to store to upgrade my daughters phone. Greeted immediately, and then two reps stood and looked at each other for approx 2 minutes figuring out who was going to assist me. Brandon eventually agreed to help and was very condescending and obviously irritated that he was left to serve. He gave me conflicting info and then was rude when I proceeded to ask my husband about the discrepancy. I have been to this store several times and never been treated this way. Worst customer service experience with ATT to date. Manager, Millie was also very impatient and not helpful. They both sounded like they were reciting a memorized script and neither listened to my request and offered a relevant answer. I simply left and resolved they weren't worth the frustration. I will pursue my upgrade elsewhere:( read more

I had absoluetly amazing service while upgrading my phone here. Crystal and staff were Very attentive and patient even tjo I complcated matters by changing my mind on my purchase after leaving the store! I highly recommend this store if you need a new or upgrade At&t product. I also found an actual person WAY better than trying to upgrade via the internet. read more

Stood around for an hour to buy a charger while the employees sit around talking to people, have never been to a store where you couldn't check out...insanity! In the end I had to go to Target after 2 employees wouldn't ring me up cause I didn't have an appointment. Will never come back here. read more

Att Headquarters transferred me via phone to this store because they needed the store manager to change an order in the system that they could not do. For starters, you have to keep dialing 1 for several minutes before anyone will pick up. The guy that finally answer stated that I needed to come to the store, and when I explained that I was told they could look up the notes in the system....he hung up on me. Think they answered when I tried to call back? Nope. That's just flat out unforgivable, and it shows the quality of employees they hire there. Ignore customers and hang up them. Nice.... read more

This store can sell you products, and argue with you about why you should have DirecTV. Don't expect *any* service beyond that, even if AT&T admits it screwed up. Here's the story: AT&T sent me the wrong phone for a line ported over from a company phone. I took the wrong phone to this store to exchange it. They didn't have the phone I was supposed to receive. They told me to use the prepaid label and return the wrong phone at the UPS store next door. I did. After 7 days, I still didn't have a phone and wanted to know the status. So I called AT&T and they said I would have to go to the store because they couldn't deal with accounts over the phone. I went to the store for the second time and took the tracking number for the package with me. They didn't ask for it. I was told the phone was in transit so I thought all was well. 3 days later, the phone had still not arrived so again, I called AT&T to check the status and 30 minutes later, AT&T said I had to go to the store. So I made my third trip to the store (an hour round trip). I was told they couldn't help me without the tracking number, which I had left at home because it had been a waste of time bringing it before. They also said that calling AT&T's main number was the wrong number, so they gave me the number for "customer care." Odd that the AT&T phone people didn't know that, but whatever. So then I went back home and called the "customer care" number to give them the tracking number. They confirmed AT&T had sent the wrong phone, that they had in fact received the returned wrong phone, and asked if I'd talked to management at the store. I had; the only solution the store offered was that if I needed a phone immediately, then I could buy another phone and pay for two phones. I asked to cancel the previous order, and they said they couldn't do that until the situation with my existing order was resolved, which they were incapable of resolving. I was then told by "customer care" that I had been assigned a case number and that the matter would be escalated and resolved by April 10th - another 4 days away. I asked why they simply couldn't send a phone since they had verified that everything I said was true. I was given some lame explanation that the phone was considered installed (I never did activate it, by the way) and it would have to be de-installed. Not trusting AT&T at this point, I asked for the order number and was also given a "case number." On April 10, there was still no sign of a phone. I called "customer care" again. The order number was for my original order, and no longer in the system. The case number didn't come up on the screen. I finally got to talk to someone who had an interest in resolving the problem. After another hour on the phone, I was assured a phone would arrive soon (it hasn't yet, but I think this person was actually honest with me). FYI there was no case that anyone had been assigned to. Had I not called, it appears that nothing would have happened. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The store was useless, and incompetent at answering even the simplest of questions - like "When will my phone show up?" BTW I still don't have the new phone. 6.5 hours of my life wasted...and counting. read more

More than willing to sell you an iPhone but if you have an issue while in warranty they make you wait 10 minutes only to tell you they can't help. And who wears a toboggan to work at a cell phone store. Very unprofessional. One more reason to hate att - customer service! read more

This is the AT&T store who allowed a thief, who stole my identity, to walk in and purchase 2 new iphone 7 plus on my account. The hacker then paid for those phones using my stored credit card with AT&T. That's 2 iphone 7's, at $869.99...$1,740 charged to my bank account. I'm going on countless HOURS on the phone with AT&T being transferred from one department to the next. Going on day 5 and I have not been refunded yet. Absolute nightmare. I was able to obtain the receipt from this fraudulent purchase, which displays the name of the employee that allowed this person to do this to me. So shout out to Brandon from this store for not bothering to check customers ID's and allowing this to happen. DO NOT SIGNUP for AUTOPAY with AT&T! read more
