My mother in law came into this store with a broken iPhone 17. This is the SECOND iPhone 17 they've sent her because the first they couldn't get to work. The worker was a HUGE asshole and refused to assist my mother in law and sent her off to Best Buy. All she needs is to set it up to their wifi and it should work but he would not help her. I(and my family) have been with ATT since it was Cellular One. The last couple of times I've traded in my phone it has been a nightmare and everything gets messed up. They offer great trade in credits but then make your life a nightmare to get them. I traded in my phone at the ATT store in Sept. 2022. The guy that I worked with was super friendly but very pushy with products I specifically said I didn't want and spent extra time making me estimates for said products when I mentioned I was short on time. I specifically went to the store to trade in person because I had an issue with sending my phone in the mail the time before that(it got lost at ATT somewhere/somehow). I also didn't want to have to deal with all the transfer of stuff from my old phone to new or with the set up(Which is also part of the reason I chose to trade in person)) and I guess the internet went down while I was there, so I ultimately had to take both phones home and do the set up myself and then make another trip to the store a couple of hours later to turn over my trade in to them. Well long story short, it turns out someone at the ATT store screwed up when applying my credit and put it on a different phone number I've never heard of on some random account and apparently they CAN'T remove the credit from that account and apply it to mine. I found this out the 2nd or 3rd month I called after spending hours on the phone with them trying to figure out why my credit was not being applied. I was told several months in a row by several different people that "this will fix it or that will fix it". Nothing ever did. I even was told to make a trip BACK to the ATT store just to say hi and approve them to put a notation in the account? Turned out it did nothing and was another waste of my time. Now 7 months after I handed my phone over to them and 12+ hours of conversations in messaging and calls and after talking to managers and the trade in department, the best they can do is put a credit on my account for the remainder that I haven't already forced them to credit me for. Which would be an OK option except I am on a family account with my siblings and parents as a lot of people do and now there is no way have my credit applied directly to my phone/installment agreement. It's been the biggest headache and will continue on for several more months before we get this all worked out ourselves. It's the biggest joke that they can make these mistakes and then make ME deal with the repercussions and the headache and the wasted hours on the phone with different representatives just to be talked in circles. It took me talking to 2 different managers to even get this "resolution". I don't normally do reviews but after all this I couldn't help myself. This is just a brief look and doesn't do the whole experience justice. If their mistake had been fixed quickly, efficiently, and in a way that didn't cause even more problems for me I wouldn't have made a big deal about it. Oh, and I also had several extra charges on my bill after this visit of stuff that I SPECIFICALLY declined during my visit and SPECIFICALLY said I did NOT want to change or add anything to my plan except the new phone. That took a couple of months of getting different things removed from my bill during my phone calls with them. read more

Never go here unless you have several hours to kill. The lines here are longer than the DMV. They'll tell you the wait is a half hour but it's more like 2 hours minimum. They should sell food and drinks to make money. Not to mention the employees all walk around in slow motion. AT&T is a great company but this store location sucks. Enter at your own risk. read more

I am extremely unhappy with the service here. I went into the store to buy my 75 year old grandmother an iphone 8 plus (an upgrade from her 6s plus) while she visited from rural Colorado. A store associate, Justice, informed us that we could not add a line to our regular 2 line account because the account was too new. We went with a prepaid account that he told us we could easily add to our existing two lines. Grandma went home and barely had enough service to call out and let us know that she couldn't see Facebook or any pictures we were sending. She doesnt drive and nearest carrier store is 200 miles away. We called at&t corporate and found out that Justice had added a line that we did not request and registered the prepaid number under the store address and not ours. Additionally, he did not disclose that the prepaid accounts do not have the same amount of coverage as regular lines...especially in rural areas. We have spent over 4 hours on the phone with customer service and still no resolution. read more

Do not go to this location if you intend to receive professional and expert service. I encountered the most obnoxious and unhelpful person as my first contact at this location during a very slow work day for the staff. I arrived after a 12 hour shift as a nurse at a level I trauma center and was greeted by a poorly trained and unprofessional employee in a store which had three staff members standing/leaning on displays in a store with one other customer in sight. I have paid more to AT&T as a customer over the years than I care to calculate and the enthusiasm and helpful nature of my first contact was enough to make me wish I still had my fathers CB in my car. I was not treated as a valuable customer in any way and the only courtesy I was shown was when the said imbecile held the door for me as I left. I subsequently called AT&T and they were able to assist me with my problem and continued that they at Apple would be formalizing a complaint against said franchise. I was about to cancel my service all together thanks to the obnoxious service delivered at this particular location. Not once did any of the staff attempt to address the issue. I will no longer patronize this store and I hope the public speaks up in regards to their experiences especially in order to draw attention to the poor customer service delivered at this venue. read more

So we sent my husband's 77 year old mother into this store to have her pre-paid phone transferred to our plan after receiving instructions from customer support on 11/23/16. Sebastian put a note on her account & then called my husband to inform us we would need to go into our local AT&T store (we live in California) to show ID & authorize the transfer. We were told by customer care that the transfer could be authorized over the telephone with our PIN number. He informed my mother-in-law that she would not need to return back to the store. So I went to my local AT&T store 3,000 miles away from Morgantown. We got Sebastian on the telephone (who answered his phone with a "hello" & did not identify himself as an employee of AT&T). We discovered that he placed a notation only on her plan (also with AT&T) but, nothing else. He refused to transfer the line even with me standing in my local store with an AT&T representative whom I had speaking with him as well on the speaker. He was very uncooperative. My representative here was shocked at his rudeness & unwillingness to help. My store found a work around & issued her a new number but, she would have to return back to this store for a SIM card. She was out of pre-paid minutes so in order to communicate this to her we would have to pay for more minutes of which my store here took care of complimentary. I was able to contact my mother-in-law & provide her with the new number so she could go back to the store & get the phone updated. I specifically asked her not to see Sebastian & she agreed stating that he was not very helpful on the first visit. Well, my mother-in-law approached two other employees for help & after overhearing the situation...Sebastian rudely interrupted the employees & took over. After the transaction was complete he felt it necessary to send me a text about "how helpful" he was...give me a break! I have been with AT&T since 1996 & it is employees like Sebastian that would make me switch carriers in a heartbeat. Thankfully, she is now on our plan & hopefully will never have to deal with this store or Sebastian again. read more
