The service and follow through with the selected plan we chose is deliberately misleading - to call AT&T customer service and get anyone from America or someone who speaks fluent English is unheard of from this company, as soon as the phone is paid off, never again will we support AT&T... absolute never again, even with receipts they refuse to help. This review will be the end of my cell phone drama (at least until I need to purchase another one). I was just out and about on this fair day and decided I would give AT&T another shot to redeem their self. I walked in here, better prepared, and went straight towards the phone I wanted. Within minutes Pat, by far the best sales associate here, approached me and asked if I needed any help. After telling him what I needed and what I wanted, we were ready to take care of business. Being a longtime Apple iPhone user, and in that lucky crowd that was grandfathered in for unlimited data, Pat didn't try to persuade me to drop that feature. In fact he took the time to go over what I wanted in detail, unlike the store in Altoona. He covered all my questions and took the time to make sure I was set up to walk out of the store with my new phone ready to use. While he was setting it up he didn't try to up sale me on anything and did not continue to push. He was very easy to talk to as well. It goes without saying that I got my phone that day and will definitely tell people to come here if you are in the area. read more

When we walked into the AT&T store at the Galleria mall, the salesperson was personable, funny and more than happy to help. Great guy. So we thought. After our experience with the store, it was pretty clear that two people we personally encountered there must have never gotten around to reading the AT&T Customer Service Code which says: We follow ethical sales practices. We were deliberately misled, lied to, and ended up with the premium usage plan we were very clear that we did not want. We also received two "free" items with the purchase of a phone which were most assuredly not free. (Each had monthly line fees and were attached to the most expensive usage plans.) AT&T online customer service was great and advised us to return the devices within 14 days. When we went back to the store, the salesperson berated my husband and said, "You're an adult. You should have read the fine print." Since the entire sales transaction is done on the salesperson's tablet vs. giving you any paperwork, that's very hard to do. The salesperson's demeanor was rude and condescending. He also refused to take the devices back until we said that we had already talked to support. All and all a TERRIBLE experience. I will never walk into that store again. I am pretty tech savvy and usually a pretty savvy buyer - however, I fell hook, line and sinker for the "con" that was the sales experience here.There are other reviews on the AT&T site. My experience with this store was not unique. There are a million other ways to buy a cell phone and package. Avoid this one. read more

This review concerns AT&T HSE (High speed elite). My mother has had their Elite package for quite a while. I don't have exact dates. When we signed on to get HSE, we were offered 7Mbps download speed. This changed over time and the max was lowered to 6Mbps. We were never notified about the reduced speed. This is what AT&T does. Change something, don't inform customer, Customer incurs more charges. Pro's. -I had one time the internet went out. It's very consistent where I live. Con's. -Speed was never what we paid for. Always seemed to hover around 3Mbps. -Website doesn't work well and is confusing. Almost impossible to pay a bill on it. -AT&T makes random changes to the account and almost forces customers to Pay for the differences. -AT&T imposed a Bandwidth cap. I'm in the "top 2%" for data users according to AT&T, I use that much data. For every 50Gigs over over our 150gig limit, we are paying 10.00 dollars more for our internet. Doesn't seem bad, but if you do a search online to find out how AT&T does it's metering of your internet, you will find that allot of people are very mad because AT&T doesn't meter your internet correctly, according to these people, AT&T was on average, over-metering their people by 33%. When AT&T imposed the Bandwidth cap we were supposed to be notified, in someway. They never notified us. They said they sent it to a email address, we never got it. When we were getting close to our bandwidth cap they were supposed to notify us some how, they did, they sent it to a email that gets checked 1 time ever 6 months. -Trying to talk to a Representative, takes about 5-10 mins on the phone. There phone tree is huge. -I spent 2 hours on the phone one day trying to fix a problem they messed up on. I got transfer 6 times, disconnected twice. Overall I'm very dissatisfied. There has been so many thing that they never informed us about. It's seems like AT&T will use any means to lower the customers knowledge about there bill and where the limits lie. I was in there last Saturday and was in at first to fix my phone. The sales guy I got was very aggressive with me to upgrade my phone and switch my TV cable provider to direct tv. I can honestly say if that's the way the teach their employees I don't want anything they're selling. read more

Bought a new phone. They were suppose to transfer my contacts, photos videos from the old phone to the new. Told me will only take a few minutes. Well at least 20 minutes later they gave me my phone. I leave, get to my vehicle and look at my contacts. Nothing. Names no phone numbers. I return to the store and I'm told "just dial the number, its not that hard." no kidding. How many contacts do you have in your phone? and how many of those contacts do you know the phone number? Real smart. So now I need to carry my old phone with me to look up the contact and use my new phone to dial it. Bull Shit. You seriously got to be kidding. Well now I am to return to the store tomorrow and they will try, try again. Look AT&T, you are to provide the service I paid for, not screw everything up and be ignorant about it now that you got my $. We'll see how this ends. And by the current service they provide, I'm doubtful. What a way to prepare for vacation. read more

Great store! There is usually a wait to see a representative but I understand it's because they take the time to figure out each customer's needs. I would recommend steering clear of the store near WalMart because it is an authorized retailer (they don't know what they're doing). read more
