Worst mistake of my life! In June 2023, I was approached at my home by an AT&T rep named Makayla stating that they were doing a promotion in my neighborhood and said the first 2 months would be free. I signed up and the install went fine. Fast forward to the end of the month, and I received a bill. I called but was told that the rep didn't have the authority to offer me that. I asked to cancel service. Fast forward to the next month, I received another bill. The service wasn't cancelled and I was charged again (keep in mind I wasn't using the service at all). I called again and informed them to cancel service and I would not be paying for either month. They would need to take up the issue with the rep that came to my house. I was able to reach out to that rep, she said she didn't work for AT&T anymore and to contact her previous supervisor. After multiple attempts, I can't get a call back. 2 years later, I'm still dealing with this issue with collections. You couldn't pay me to use this company. They scammed me into signing up and are now demanding money. They do not value customers at all. read more

So, my wife and I upgraded our Galaxy S20s to a Galaxy S26s with our AT&T online account. 13 days later I had an issue with the Messaging APP. Phone support told me I needed to take it to an AT&T store to get it fixed. I went to the Hiram AT&T store and the rep there immediately told me she could not help. She said that with a loud and disrespectable attitude. She said they are not trained on that APP and I needed to take it to the Best Buy Store/Geek Squad down the street. That APP is a GOOGLE APP and maybe they can help. I replied, this is an ATT phone, I bought from ATT and the App is provided on the phone by ATT and ATT should support it. She again, with a loud voice said, "take it to the Geek Squad". Then another person came over and told me the same thing, with a loud voice. She said she was the manager. I walked out of the store. After thinking about how I was treated, I went back in and asked for their names. They refused to give them to me, asking why I wanted them. I told them I wanted to escalate this. The person who said who said she was the manager again then asked, "who are you going to escalate to?". I did not answer. I asked for her name again. She said just "just say I am the manager on duty". I said, I have been an AT&T/Cingular/Bellsouth customer for 50+ years, maybe I should now change to Verizon. She said "go ahead". That statement tells me she does not care about customers. Folks, this is a prime example of where customer service has gone today. Like Clark Howard calls it, "customer no-service". On Sunday, Jan 11, I went to the AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia and the customer service female rep helped me remove viruses from my cell phone after AT&T changed my services - WITHOUT MY CONSENT. However, one of my major apps was missing subsequent to the service-change. The AT&T rep referred me to their repair source located at - uBreakiFix, 5739 Wendy Bagwell Pkwy. #105, Hiram, GA 30141. The female rep at uBreakiFix instructed me to bring my cell phone back on Monday, Jan 12th, with my lap-top in order for the app to be re-installed. When I arrived at the uBreakiFix establishment on Monday in Hiram, Georgia, the female REFUSED to wait on me properly and NEVER made eye-contact with me. She seemed to have a medical mental defect. What is worse, she stated that both technicians were present in the back of the store; but both refused to come out to talk to me in order to inquire as to what type of service I needed. As a matter of record, both technicians stayed in the back room and I could hear them whispering about me. The female employee at uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia finally emerged from the back room and told me that both technicians were too busy and told me to leave my cell phone and lap-top at the store. The uneasy feeling that I had, at that point, prompted me to leave the store IMMEDIATELY and post a warning about the slips-shoddy and EXTREMELY unprofessional service that uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia seem to be rendering people who ask for service. DO NOT GO IN THAT STORE - DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT. When I went back to the AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia on Monday to warn them about the negative type of service I had JUST received at their repair out-source company - uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia, I was verbally attacked by a female representative at the AT&T store and she blurted out loud and accused me of looking for free service! She kept raising voice so loud, that I had to correct her about her FALSE assumption and also request that she stop screaming and talk more intelligently. The AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia - depending on who waits on you - is ALSO NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GET SERVICE. MOST of their employees seem to be inept when it comes to decent customer service and VERY, VERY unknowledgeable concerning the devices that they sell. As a matter of record, the AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia STILL possess one of the LOWEST customer-service ratings on the internet! THE AT&T STORE IN HIRAM, GEORGIA REFUSED ME SERVICE! BTW, the LOUD talking AT&T female at the Hiram, Georgia store told me that she did not care how bad the service I received at their out-source repair store - uBreakIFix also located in Hiram, Georgia - she stated that their store will CONTINUE to send their customers for repair services! read more

I would give this place zero stars if I had the option. Several weeks ago my daughter and son-in-law went in there to trade in their phones for upgrade. Upgrades were supposed to be free and they wound up, doubling their bill and not getting credit for turned in phones. I was in there yesterday to turn in my other daughter's phone for her trade-in/upgrade and watched the employees here be absolutely disrespectful and rude to an older man that was frustrated with his new iPhone 16 that didn't work correctly. He was within his graceperiod and was trying to figure out how to get a different phone that he could work easier and would pair with his hearing aid. He was also told that the upgrade and trading would be free and is now stuck with the phone and a new larger charge on his bill. I did not hear the entire conversation, but the body language and words that I did hear from the employee which drew my attention were completely unprofessional. He never said anything using curse words, but his body language was way worse than any bad word anyone could use. The old man ended up saying to take the damn phone back. That is when the store manager got involved by screaming over everyone in the store that he wasn't gonna be cussing up in there. The man got even more frustrated. I stood between the man and the employee while they hearded this man out of the store, as if he was a dirty dog. Again, no employee there said any actual cuss words however they handled the entire situation unprofessionally and treated this man as if he was scum of the Earth. And then said the same type thing to me for trying to help the old man figure out why he was being charged for a phone that he was told he wouldn't be charged for. The employees at the store do not wear name tags or the name tags they have on have nicknames on them. So there is no telling who was actually doing what. AVOID THIS STORE!!! read more

The guy that worked there very much did not want to help us. We've been with AT&T for years and came in to trade in our phones. We ended up leaving without any help. We'll use the app or switch providers. They aren't as user friendly as they used to be. You have to order everything and won't get it for a week. read more

In Sept I was told I could upgrade my phone for no change in monthly cost. That was a lie. Bill went up $70/mo. Asked to go back to old plan. Told I couldn't. Called Loyalty Rep for help. Was told go back to store, tell them "such and such". Did. Store said they still couldn't help me. Called Loyalty rep again. Different rep. Spent 45min on phone with her. Said she would work on my problem and call me back. She didn't. She just wanted to get rid of my problem. Lied to by three different ATT reps. Problem still not solved. Will be moving my account to T-Mobile or Verizon. 10 years of loyalty on my part meant nothing to ATT. They just wanted to jack up my bill. Now they''ll get nothing. read more

I went in with my iPhone 6s+ and the need for a new phone. My phone was cracked so I couldn't use the ATT Next upgrade but I did pay off the amount left on my 6s+, then traded it in for a certain amount. The trade in amount went toward the new phone. All in all, I just had to pay the rest of the amount that I owed on my old phone and that was it. Jesse, the person who helped me, was more than helpful and amazing. He's the main reason I'm giving 5 stars! Getting a new phone is a big deal, especially when phone are near $1000 now! He made the decision super easy and I felt very welcome. Avoid coming to this location AT ALL COSTS. Their customer service or lack there of is disgraceful. There is absolutely no sense of urgency, having customers wait hours to be helped, lack of communication, apparently there is a "list" and we are to wait in our cars yet they don't take your phone number or any way to actually contact you unless you are standing in the 100 degree heat outside. They are required to limit the amount of customers in the building based on employees, yet once an employee finishes with one customer, they go in the back for 45 minutes. They also limit transactions to essential services such as purchasing a new phone, troubleshooting yet the customer in front of myself spent over an hour contesting billing issues. If the purpose of AT&T is to make money, they are going to be losing a lot of business if this is the best they have to offer. read more

I will admit I was reluctant to going to any AT&T store period! This location changed my mind when Bert opened the door for me like a gentle. Yes, they all open the door for customers, but Bert is the rep. whom helped me. I already knew what I wanted. He went and got the phone for me and made the process quick and easy. He did a little up selling, but that's to be expected. he convinced me to purchase a protector for the glass. The experience was painless. I thought it would be a long wait with a lot of unnecessary things happening. read more

Went there on Monday planning to upgrade my phone. They said I wasn't an authorized user and all of our phones were suspended. My son-in-law called AT&T to verify that I was indeed authorized. Absolutely the best retail store I've ever been to for AT&T. My iPhone kicked the bucket over thanksgiving holiday and I had to purchase a new one while I was out of town. My salesperson was Bethany and she was fabulous. She had a great personality and greeted me when I walked in. She informed me about the sales going on and help set up my phone and new iPad. She wasn't pushy and explained everything to me. Also the manager Doug was great as well. Loved this store and the service. Check them out. Better than wasting time in an Apple Store. read more

I was visiting from out of town. I live in Boston. I stopped into this location because my sister broke her phone and needed to purchase a replacement. Everyone in this store was so helpful. This is truly an awesome staff. My sister was so angry when she arrived and was laughing within minutes because of the funny antics of one of the employees. They seem to all work well together. At first I was totally frustrated with this branch. I felt like they didn't give me all the information about switching over to AT&T that they should've. My bill wasn't working out like they told me it would. However, after working with customer service, they properly explained everything and even gave me my bill credits earlier than their policy stated. See that's what I look for in a company, when there's a mis communication issue, it's all about how that company makes it right. And AT&T made it right. That's great customer service. Specifically at this Hiram location I have to call out Wes, he was our sales rep and has helped me with some accessories issues I had since we switched over. Some of the associates looked helpful. but my guy was surely not. He was rude and acted like he did not even want to bother with me. My company gave me a windows phone, it rings on occasion and does not on occasion. So I wanted to exchange it for another phone. It was past the 14 days from purchase, but has only been out of the box 5 days. They would do nothing even though Microsoft website says these phones have a glitch. Stopped in to the AT&T store this evening to upgrade my phone. It was busy but I was helped by a store rep in a reasonable amount of time. Tahir is an awesome salesman! He answered every question I had and, even though it was almost closing time, he took his time and made sure my new phone was 100% ready to go. I walked out of the store, new phone in hand....only to find my car had a flat tire. I started getting the spare tire and jack out and within minutes Tahir was out in the parking lot offering his assistance. Not long after he came out, another AT&T employee, Josh, came out to help as well. The store closes at 8 but we didn't finishing setting up my phone until almost 8:30, then these guys spent another 20 minutes changing my tire. Great customer service and two stand up gentlemen!
