As the…read morepurchase was started the it was discovered the wife and I were under a senior plan we're 65 & 75. For some reason we couldn't have that plan and had to go to a higher plan, I also wanted this phone to do everything the other plan did and the same with the phone. We departed he store drove to Washington, Ga our home. I attempted to utilize my hotspot nothing, I called Verizon c service because I didn't know my super secret code they "wouldn't " help me I understand the security aspect, I wanted to know why a newly purchased phone that was supposed to work like the last one doesn't. The next day I drove 15 miles to the next town a a Verizon store. Much to my dismay I'm told if I want a hotspot on my phone I'll have to pay extra. Justin M was my sales person he was a nice person but, I realize Verizon in in the business to make the most amount of money per person but at least tell the truth.

The Cellular Sales Verizon franchisee location at 5008 Steiner Way Grovetown, GA 30813 has on…read moreseveral occasions provided exceptionally poor service to my family due to either poor training, poor communication skills, or less than forthright business practices. The most recent event involved a 4G hotspot which we were assured we would have a 45-day period in which to return the device with a full refund of purchase and service if it didn't suit our needs. Upon return of the device, the purchase price was credited but the service continued, and the activation fee remained. Upon readdressing the issue with the franchisee location, they purportedly approached Verizon, and were unable to prorate the service cost or credit the activation. My contact with the Verizon chat assistant resulted in the removal of the activation charge, but not the proration or removal of the service charge. Better, but still not what was discussed. I recently checked the remaining purchase balance on our phone. We were led to believe that we would receive a larger trade in credit for our old phones, more than the $20 we were credited. I could've scrapped or privately sold the phones for more than that. It was indicated at the time of sale that, due to the terms of the promotion, we could not pay off our phones at the time of purchase and would need to wait 45 days for the promotion to apply. Due to this, I lost track of the task and just recently discovered the variance between what I expected and the amount of the credit applied. It is also entirely possible that the communication model muddled the terms of the sale to the point where several different options, having been discussed previously, were not clearly dismissed prior to writing the deal. We experienced less serious, but none-the-less irksome issues on our last equipment transaction with this location. I don't recall the details, but I do recall the pique it caused me, and the fact the team member spent more time concerned with their own phones. We were not a priority, to say the least. Whatever the cause of these interactions, this is likely the last contract period our family will be using Verizon's services due to the company's association with this franchisee. I understand this is an insignificant loss of a few hundred dollars a month for your company, but I assure you my few hundred dollars is important to me and certainly appears to be better spent elsewhere.

This has been one of the most disturbing customer experiences I've ever had. An AT&T employee,…read moreMarkisha Jackson, completely mishandled our account from the moment it was opened and sold us three phones and three lines under misleading circumstances. Nothing about this experience was honest, transparent, or legitimate. Since day one, our account has been a disaster: double charges, unexplained fees, ignored support requests, service interruptions, and even NYC taxes added to our bill despite us not living in New York nor buying the phones there. Our phone lines were shut off the literal day after we traded in our old phones, and another employee, Ma'lissa Austin, attempted to not give any sort of physical paper proof of this trade-in, (which is standard protocol for phone trade-ins at any Internet store) claiming the printer wasn't working, which I then had to then persist in asking for at least a written paper showing the phone values so the bill can be accurate. Day after, service was off. When we called, asked for assistance, and then asked for a manager, Markisha hung up instead, and proceeded to ignore each call after. No follow-up. No documentation. No accountability. We are now being billed over $3,200 for services and devices that were misrepresented from the start. And this is not everything -- there is more that has occurred, all pointing to a clear pattern of predatory sales tactics, deceptive billing, and deliberate obstruction when customers try to escalate. At this point, AT&T's behavior does not resemble a legitimate service provider. It resembles a scam operation that relies on confusion, pressure, and silence to extract money from customers. If AT&T leadership or operations management is reading this: audit this account, review the recorded sales interactions, and investigate employee conduct immediately. No customer should ever go through this. The employees are running this place with their commission being their only concern in the end. Avoid AT&T unless you are prepared to fight to protect yourself.

AT&T Trade-In Warning - Customers Please Read Before Trading Your Phone…read more I want to warn other customers about my experience with AT&T so you can avoid what I'm currently dealing with. In November, I opted to trade in my phone. I contacted customer service because I had misplaced the small trade-in slip. I was told that was fine and instructed to take my phone directly to an AT&T store. When I went to the store, I was told they could not accept the phone and that I needed to call customer service again. After calling, customer service created an RMA, instructed me to return the phone, and I dropped it off as directed. AT&T received my phone in November, which is clearly shown in the screenshots. The phone was in mint condition with nothing wrong with it. Now, in January, AT&T is attempting to charge me $800, claiming the phone was returned outside of the 60-day window--despite the fact that they received it on time. To make matters worse, they are now saying they will charge me the $800 and return the phone. This situation is unacceptable. I followed every instruction given by AT&T, contacted customer service multiple times, and returned the phone exactly as directed. This issue is the result of miscommunication and internal handling errors, not customer negligence. Customers should be very cautious when trading in phones, document everything, and be prepared to escalate if necessary.

I called and they said that it sounded like the screen might be defective and that they would fix it under warranty as long as it was not showing signs of being dropped or water damage (Neither of these had happened). I took it to the store and received a call within 1 hour that said they would not cover it under warranty as it showed signs of being dropped and that it would be over $200 to fix it. I argued my case with them (there is no external sign of damage) but finally said I would just pick up the unit. It does not look like they even opened it up! Bottom line if you value having a warranty STAY AWAY. It is too easy for them to decline the warranty service and the customer has no way to challenge their decision.

Run! Avoid this business at all costs, even if your provider sends you here…read more My under a year old Samsung Galaxy 24 from T-Mobile developed a problem with the touchscreen. I brought it here in January of 2025 and was told that I had dropped it. My phone lives a charmed life as have all of my prior Smartphones in an Otterbox Defender case. I have never broken a screen apart from a flip phone 25 years ago. I had them replace the screen and they gave me a lifetime repair warranty. This morning, August 7 2025 I had the same problem with the phone and assumed it was a defective replacement screen. They had the phone for 2 hours, the store manager Ishmael told me that they would likely cover it and to come back in an hour or so. When I returned, they claimed I had corrosion from water intrusion. The phone has not been submerged in water in the 6 months since they last replaced it. The warranty as per him was now invalid. I paid for a second screen to get my phone clear of this business. Recommend you spread the word or at the very least avoid this business.
