I recently went to the Verizon Store in Grovetown, ga to replace phones for my wife and I. As the purchase was started the it was discovered the wife and I were under a senior plan we're 65 & 75. For some reason we couldn't have that plan and had to go to a higher plan, I also wanted this phone to do everything the other plan did and the same with the phone. We departed he store drove to Washington, Ga our home. I attempted to utilize my hotspot nothing, I called Verizon c service because I didn't know my super secret code they "wouldn't " help me I understand the security aspect, I wanted to know why a newly purchased phone that was supposed to work like the last one doesn't. The next day I drove 15 miles to the next town a a Verizon store. Much to my dismay I'm told if I want a hotspot on my phone I'll have to pay extra. The Cellular Sales Verizon franchisee location at 5008 Steiner Way Grovetown, GA 30813 has on several occasions provided exceptionally poor service to my family due to either poor training, poor communication skills, or less than forthright business practices. The most recent event involved a 4G hotspot which we were assured we would have a 45-day period in which to return the device with a full refund of purchase and service if it didn't suit our needs. Upon return of the device, the purchase price was credited but the service continued, and the activation fee remained. Upon readdressing the issue with the franchisee location, they purportedly approached Verizon, and were unable to prorate the service cost or credit the activation. My contact with the Verizon chat assistant resulted in the removal of the activation charge, but not the proration or removal of the service charge. Better, but still not what was discussed. I recently checked the remaining purchase balance on our phone. We were led to believe that we would receive a larger trade in credit for our old phones, more than the $20 we were credited. I could've scrapped or privately sold the phones for more than that. It was indicated at the time of sale that, due to the terms of the promotion, we could not pay off our phones at the time of purchase and would need to wait 45 days for the promotion to apply. Due to this, I lost track of the task and just recently discovered the variance between what I expected and the amount of the credit applied. It is also entirely possible that the communication model muddled the terms of the sale to the point where several different options, having been discussed previously, were not clearly dismissed prior to writing the deal. We experienced less serious, but none-the-less irksome issues on our last equipment transaction with this location. I don't recall the details, but I do recall the pique it caused me, and the fact the team member spent more time concerned with their own phones. We were not a priority, to say the least. Whatever the cause of these interactions, this is likely the last contract period our family will be using Verizon's services due to the company's association with this franchisee. I understand this is an insignificant loss of a few hundred dollars a month for your company, but I assure you my few hundred dollars is important to me and certainly appears to be better spent elsewhere. read more

We went into the Verizon Store considering an upgrade for our phones, and we were met with impeccable customer service from Albin F. He was really patient with us as we contemplated which phones we wanted to purchase. Thanks to his knowledge about the different apple products and Verizon services, we were able to leave pretty quickly with a good bundle deal. This is the best customer service we've had with Verizon Wireless so far since we've been customers of theirs. read more

Angel Corley got me set up w/ a new phone & was very patient w/ me as she had to explain some differences. Best experience ever at a Verizon store. Tim and melissa are two of the most knowledgeable cellphone extraordinaires I have ever had the pleasure of being assisted by. We purchased 3 devices and got some great promotionals and discounts. Then sales representative was done with customer and just walked around on his phone playing some game. I asked for help. Ignored me then when someone else came in he took that customer. She gets into my account and asks how I will be paying, I tell her cash. She tells me there is a 1$ charge for using cash.... Listen to that you're charging me money to spend money at your establishment....cash used to be king, now it's just a headache? So I shake my head and hand her $__.__ amount in 20's. Then she tells me oh I don't have change..... What the &@-$!? Why not? Your a business how do you not have cash on hand? Ridiculous. Don't go to this Verizon wireless authorized retailer. I walked in and was not greeted. I completely understand they were assisting other customers but nobody even looked up and said hi at the very least. After about 5 minutes of waiting another girl walked in and they greeted her and helped her before me. Once I was finally recognized I was told they couldn't help me because they aren't a real Verizon. That is very confusing as the sign outside and above the building says VERIZON!!!! They informed me they are just an authorized retailer and I was still confused as that didn't state that on the marquee or the sign on the building. They treated me as if I was the idiot for not knowing. My recommendation is the have that listed that you aren't a "real" Verizon. read more

We had the blonde women I think her name is Angel. It takes her a minute to warm up to you but once she does she is very nice and joking she told us one or two short stories and asked us a few questions about our lives as well, of course nothing too personal. It took us a little over an hour to back up the phone we were trying to deal with and in the end it just started over so it was kinda pointless to stay there as long as we did. Overall I had a good experience here, customer service was very nice they had plenty of things for social distancing like hand sanitizer and signs pertaining to guidelines for the virus. The store was different from any other version store I've seen. There weren't a bunch of phones to test and fun electronic gadgets to play around with but that's ok. It was more like a car dealership to me. read more

I went in to get a simple screen protector placed on the phone I got from Verizon Online and to buy a new screen protector for my mother. The guy could not stop complaining that I refused to buy the phone from him and just kept on and on. I finally told him if he said one more thing he would loose the sale of the screen protector for my mother's phone as well... to which he told me to have a good day. I asked for his manager, when he refused to tell me I asked his colleague who pointed a gentleman out. I briefly told that gentleman he had lost a sale and walked out. Verizon really needs to discontinue the use of authorized retailers if they want to protect their brand, I'll never step foot in this store again - that I promise you! read more

When I first went into the store I wasn't quite sure because the rep didn't seem to understand my problem. After talking it thru, we figured it out and since they didn't have the piece I needed, Austin agreed to call me the next day when he had the part. He also offered to help install it. True to his word, he got the pieces I needed, one of which didn't cost me anything and the second piece had a rebate so that all I really spent was $5.00. In addition, he came to my house and helped install it and make sure all my electronic needs were met. I appreciate the extra steps he took to make sure we were setup properly in our new home.
