My wife and I came in this store yesterday to upgrade her iPhone. Normally I'd go to the Apple Store, but I figured we'd just come here since it's very close to our house. We didn't have to wait at all so that was a plus, but that's probably the only positive thing I could say about my experience. During the whole transaction, the sales associate kept sneaking things into my bill that I didn't ask for. 1st was a "free" memo tablet that he said was a promotion for upgrading the phone. He only mentioned that it was an additional $10/month on the bill when asked about it. Secondly, he automatically added insurance to the phone bill which I didn't ask for either. He mentioned it in passing as we were finishing up, and I asked how much the insurance was--he told me how much and said it was built in to the monthly cost. I politely told him to remove it, which lowered my bill yet again from the initial quote he gave. I understand AT&T is there to ultimately make money off additional services and that's fine, but I respect when people are straight up about additional costs, rather than swindling customers. This place is about as shady as a car dealership. read more
