Oh jeez, had to dust off my Yelp and modify a review I left ages ago. Just had the worst…read moreexperience dealing with a simple screen replacement. Went later in the day, cracked iPhone screen, straight-forward replacement, got it finished near closing time, paid and left. Only after a bit of normal use, it must have had some compatibility problem (3rd rate aftermarket screen probably) and would not pinch-to-zoom. Took it back the next day, the attendant acknowledged it, replaced it again and it still was doing it. The attendant herself (like the employee the night before) was as helpful/polite as she could be, but it all turned to garbage when she got the owner on speakerphone for a "now what do I do?" call. He tried to pawn it off on us that the phone's "data was corrupt" and we needed to basically reinstall/update system??? The worst case of "did you try restarting it?" I've ever heard. It then became like an episode of Columbo with my indicating that the phone was fine, if the data was a problem, it wouldn't have changed with the screen, and he was all "these work all the time blah blah blah". It was immensely stressful and dripped with lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I told him he could just forget about me taking the phone home and doing some sort of factory install on it to just be back where we started from, and I needed the phone fixed now. Bear in mind, I put the attendant herself at ease that she was not the problem, that this was her off-site manager's rotten idea of customer service policy. Thinking WE were the one's going to be stuck, he said snarkily "what do you want me to do then?" And we replied, "a refund?" He snapped "then you're going to get a phone without a screen" (clearly he didn't grasp how this repair had been basically mere hours prior, on the previous night). We told them "just put the original cracked screen back on, it's probably still in the trash can!" [It was at this moment... he knew.... he f/ed up] The (still nice as she could be) attendant went back and got the heaping case of trashed screens with a look on her face like "good luck." Without missing a beat, we just grabbed the one right on top, there it was, the exact one... "there it is! Just put it back on and give us our money back!" (Gotta say, poor attendant girl giggled... agreeably). The owner had nothing else arrogant to offer at this point, and the attendant put the old screen back on. Oh! And then we held the phone in front of her and demonstrated perfectly normal pinch-to-zoom function, (which OF COURSE it was their shoddy replacement parts with compatibility issues). That got a smile outta her. He begrudgingly authorized the refund, like pulling teeth. We left losing a whole day right back where we started from because of this owner. Anyway, beyond offensively rotten customer service POLICY, so bad it's punishment for the poor employees just needing the paycheck. The owner is a classic "take the money and run" shyster. The only thing fun about the whole stressful experience is we've turned his "your data is corrupt" B.S. line into a household meme to have fun irritating each other. "Hey, guess what... your data's corrupt!" "OMG DAD, WILL YOU STOP!!" hehehe... anyway, our luck ran out here. Recommend you just drive right on by unless you like being taken for a tool.

Replaced my iPhone screen Sunday afternoon in 45 minutes, reasonable priced, pleasant to deal…read morewith,. Will use again.

For the most part, I was extremely happy with my Samsung laptop. It was certified pre-owned and I…read morebought it from an awesome eBay seller. Flash forward a year later (and long after the 90-day certified pre-owned warranty). My laptop doesn't charge and since I have two chargers it was easy to figure out that there was a problem with the port. I contacted Samsung and they instructed me to send it to Intelisol for repairs. I printed my shipping label and send it off hoping for a quick recovery. On January 31st Samsung sent me an email saying that had received my device. I received an email from Intelisol on February 6th saying I needed to pay them $50 for diagnosis and if I decide to approve repairs, that fee would be applied to my repair bill. After several back and forth emails I was finally able to get the diagnosis completed (by the way, they do no accept American Express). On February 27th the diagnosis was completed and I was sent an estimate for more than $600. There wasn't any explanation other than the motherboard needed to be replaced. I asked for additional details and didn't really receive anything except they had to change the motherboard in order to change the charging port. No, ma'am. $65 later ($15 for shipping and $50 for diagnosis) I have my laptop back. I'm still able to charge it, but only if I lay it on its side with the weight of the device on the plug and sorta sideways. Needless to say, it doesn't charge very efficiently and my gut tells me it can be fixed without a new motherboard. Oh, well. I guess I have a few decisions to make. In the meantime, I'll continue to borrow my friend Jesse's MacBook.

David K wrote a very detailed review regarding a production issue that has been the number one…read morecause of repairs for the Samsung Series 9 computer, the power supply that plugs into the wall socket doesn't fit correctly into the computer jack! How stupid can a manufacturer be, to make such a blunder? I learned of the known defect after I purchased a new power supply that also just fell out of the computer. My wife had to hold the power cord into the defective power jack, or it would fall out. I sent my computer in for repair to Intellisol, and they either didn't replace the part, or replaced it with the same defective part. It was returned to me out of warranty. When I asked that Intellisol correct their mistake and replace the defective part with the corrective new part that they failed to install, they claimed to have found water damage, and they don't repair out of warranty products that have water damage. It didn't have water damage when sent to them under warranty, and it was working fine when sent to Intellisol, I told them I don't want them to correct any water damage, to please just correct their mistake and install the correct part. Our only problem was the power cord falling out of the socket, a known defect. Strike one. Then Intellisol claimed to have installed the correct part. Since the new power supply fit as poorly as the previous power supply, it was obvious that they had failed to do so. I do not appreciate being told something that is obviously false. Strike two. Intellisol then said that they would replace the defective part with the correct part if I agreed to pay $450. Meaning, that Intellisol (Samsung) saved $450 by not correcting a know defect. Strike Three. I had just bought a new power supply that wouldn't fit, proving Intellisol had not installed the correct part when under warranty. How sad that my reason for returning my newly purchased power supply was that the computer has a manufacturer defective computer power jack, Intellisol had failed to replace the bad part with the new part, so the perfectly good power supply doesn't work, . At least Samsung could make a power supply that fits the computer power adapter that was sold with the computer, if they aren't going to correct the problem. How can Samsung let such an absurdity ever occur? Strike four, Samsung no longer deserves my business. Shame on Samsung for making and producing a such a basic design defect in the first place, and then not correcting it. Shame on Intellisol, for not replacing the bad part with the correct part that fits the power supply, and then having the nerve to ask me to pay $450 to install the correct part, and pay for their mistake.
