AT&T's Broken Promises
Before signing up, I was clearly assured that my bill would be approximately $180 total--including phones and internet, with no activation fees. I even double-checked, and they told me all issues would be resolved before my first bill arrived.
None of that happened.
The first bill? More than double what I was quoted. A store clerk mistakenly added an extra phone line to my account, and I'm still being charged for it--even after multiple attempts to get it corrected.
We traded in our old phones under the belief that this was a clean transition. Now we're stuck. AT&T won't let us return to our old plans, and customer service has been nonexistent. I've been waiting two weeks for a call from a store manager or district manager. Still nothing.
