The service seemed fine with…read morethe old owners, but these new owners do not always open when the hours are stated, close randomly on some days or close early or for a few hours during the day. And they rarely have a sign saying that they are closed or why they are closed and they never update their voicemail. I have complained to them, and the lady told me they have "family issues". I understand you need to be there for your family, but if they cannot be at they job this many times, they should hire more people to be there when they cannot be there. I will not be going back to Video Depot after my contract is over.

I always think back to the great days when folks could go to Blockbuster and pick out a movie or two. When I saw the awning for video rental I literally started screaming for my husband to stop there. What is so great about Theater Time is not only the awesomeness of the old school video rental experience, not the piles of movies on sale for an extremely generous price but the gentleman who runs the establishment. He is an older gent, a retired police officer, and just as sweet as pie. Again, McCaysville is a tiny place. Most of its revenue probably comes from visitors. This gentleman was extremely friendly, despite us being an interracial couple and the fact I have tattoos and piercings (all things folks usually feel like they will be judged for in small towns). 2.50 to rent a new release is a deal. I urge everyone to come support the long term businesses here owned by the locals and avoid the businesses by the transplants trying to change what makes it great. Theater time is one of such places.
