I of course backed up my phone, and headed over after work. The young lady who did my repair possessed the skills of a neurosurgeon. I asked if I could watch her do the repair, and she obliged me. It was fascinating. She was super organized and really meticulous. My kind of nerd. The cost was $208. She was done in 25 minutes. (The reason the iPhone 6 is expensive is because both the glass and a big circuit board ((or something)) has to be replaced.) After I received the replacement phone, I could not transfer anything from my broken phone and was told I would have to replace the screen (which i tried to do prior to the replacement phone but was told it was not possible) to being told to even think about transferring all my stuff it would cost me $300.00 -$500.00 to repair my broken phone to transfer everything, which was crazy because I was informed differently prior to the replacement. I searched and called and went by other stores to have them tell me the same thing. Then I came across Selectel here in Ellijay and met Kolby. Kolby not only was a God send, he was patient and understanding and said he could fix it but he would have to order a device. He had the device ordered and was able to transfer everything with no problem plus saved me a lot of money. If you have any issues with your phone, I would highly recommend going by there and speaking to Kolby before giving up hope. I can not thank them enough for helping me with the debacle that my Samsung flip phone went through and saving my photos, videos and everything else that I had on it.

I even double-checked, and they told me all issues would be resolved before my first bill arrived. None of that happened. The first bill? More than double what I was quoted. A store clerk mistakenly added an extra phone line to my account, and I'm still being charged for it--even after multiple attempts to get it corrected. We traded in our old phones under the belief that this was a clean transition. Now we're stuck. AT&T won't let us return to our old plans, and customer service has been nonexistent. I've been waiting two weeks for a call from a store manager or district manager. Still nothing. I'm not just disappointed--I'm completely disillusioned. If you're thinking of switching to AT&T, be warned: promises mean nothing if the company won't stand by them.
