Friendly people at the store but avoid AT&T mobile at all costs. Their "system" randomly drops your promotions without notice and then you have to call in and spend hours trying to get it restored. Even after being told you qualify and you actually receive the promotion for some period of time they might drop your promotion after a few months with no real recourse. Even the loyalty department can't help - they can only file a case that goes elsewhere (abroad I was told) for some faceless entity to decide on. We've spent around 10 hours dealing with multiple billing problems where the customer service agents agree that we've been treated unfairly (if not illegally) but they're unable to do anything. read more

I was quoted a lower monthly price but ended up being charged over $120 due to fees and charges that were not clearly explained. I was also billed earlier than expected after changing my plan. Horrible store. They are no help. Both manager and employees. I would not recommend the store. They are only interested in selling you the phone and getting the commission but when you have a serious issue with their hidden fees on the bill they don't help you out. Our new home in Durham gets poor reception for our previous wireless provider, so we decided to try AT&T since we have internet through them and my work cell phone gets a good AT&T signal at my home. When we stopped by the first time, they said we'd need to make an appointment so we made one for the next day. We got there right when they opened in the morning and they were without power. However, the clerk was working off a handheld device (maybe their wi-fi had a battery backup?) and helped us select phones and a plan. She helped us set up our new phones and transfer everything over from our old phones. I thought it was odd that she never gave us an itemized cost breakout. I said I did not want the upgrade option or the protection plan. When we finally saw the bill later that was emailed to us, it had both of them. I called AT&T service and they were able to remove one of them, but said we'd need to go back to the store to remove the other (that's really odd). So far we are pleased with our phones and with our reception, but our initial customer service experience was a little odd. read more

Amazing customer service. Very willing to help and treat their customers well. Was immediately greeted by an associate who helped me pick a new phone and update my plan. I inquired about their fiber internet service but it was not yet available to me. The associate said they would find out if it was coming to me and they would let me know so I can get a full at&t bundle. Kudos to this team. After 25 years of AT&T and its progenitors, I have finally been forced to Verizon. Customer service here was HORRIBLE. They could not wait to get rid of me....wanting to buy an iPhone 12 Pro. There were 5 employees in the store, but only 2 were permitted to talk to me. The others, including the one who's tag said Manager, just had me wait for one of the two "sales people? Meanwhile the manager and other employees chatted with one-another......I felt like a dentist prying information from the "Manager" in order to help me decide if it was worth the wait. From the parking lot I called Verizon and had a very positive experience\, very good service and bought an $1,100 phone in the time it took me to get the run-around at At&t. I guess I now need to get the other 4 phones in our household away from this most poorly run organization. read more

Employees are not friendly. They don't offer information unless explicitly asked. They make you feel bad.

What you expect. Just make sure you call AT&T after to remove all the add-ons they secretly sign you up for.

I was just there and when I walked in someone came right up to us and we told him exactly what we wanted and in 10 minutes we had an order set up and it was super easy and simple. The employer was also fluent in Spanish and was extremely polite and efficient. read more

Went here the other day to try to figure out why my bill was so high. The young girl they had working there not only watched television the whole time she was "helping us" she also misquoted me prices for plans and told me "there's nothing keeping you here if you want to leave" I had been an AT&T customer for 15 years. Worst customer service. Today I attempted to return an unopened case. Only then did the associates make me aware of the 14 day return policy. I asked the manager, Arthur Moore III, about the policy because the receipt only listed the return policy for equipment. He then proceeded to yell and tell me to get out his store or he would have me dragged out by the police. read more

Absolutely terrible. Went in knowing exactly what I wanted. Worked with Evan, who tried to up-sell me on everything, using the fact that I was pregnant to try to convince me I needed a bigger data plan, better camera, better cover - "your baby will need apps! you'll run out of storage space!" etc. I would have bought a cover from this store but at that point I didn't want Evan getting any more commission out of me. My biggest thing was that I wanted a new phone and I was willing to sign a new 2 year contract but didn't want my bill to go up at all. I left feeling harassed and like I had been put through some sort of obstacle course. Worst part: got my bill later and it was $60 higher - $40 was hidden fees Evan said didn't exist, and $20 was for a NEW PLAN I DIDN'T ASK FOR. Evan had looked me in the eye and said that my next bill would be exactly like my previous bills. After 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T customer service I convinced them to give me my old plan back. I asked about the $40 in hidden fees and the customer service person simply said Evan had lied to me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. I'm still mad. read more
