AT&T Store - They do pick up there????!! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Absolutely incompetent workers. Girl scrolling on tiktok while talking to me. The manager doing the same no way to conduct business. I get not liking your job but honestly just find a better job if they have no intention of working it. read more

ATT service is a major disappointment. The salesperson seemed helpful and caring while he was trying you get your money. However, as soon as the selling part was over, the service/help stopped. I wish I hadn't started with ATT. Don't make that mistake. read more

Terrible! They told me they would pay off my phones from T-mobile but when it didn't reflect on my account, I called corporate and they said they had nothing on record. That this was something that a lot of service providers were doing to get people to switch. Now I've lost out on close to $1,000. Son unos estafadores. No los recomiendo! read more

Customer Service: Andrea was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and answered/addressed all my questions and concerns. She articulated the benefits of different plans and suggested options that matched my requests. Environment: very clean, organized, friendly. Greeted upon entry. Parking: free parking lot with plenty of spaces. They do share with other surrounding stores, but I found a spot easily. Highly recommend this location. It's worth traveling outside of my neighborhood. Compared to my neighborhood and another Southside location, this one is the best! read more

You live and learn, charging it to the game.... Incompetent. The sales "girl" I had was professionally nasty. I enter the store, not greeted She was serving a customer and totally incompetent. Every question led to her calling a co-worker on the phone to be guided through whatever the process was. More than three times. Another customer comes in he's greeted, as I sit going on 30 minutes at this point. After yet another call to get help because of her inability to think beyond the basics, my wait time has turned to 45 minutes. Finally, she can serve the next customer. Instead of asking if it was ok to take the customer behind me they begin his transaction in which I interrupted to make her aware that it was my turn. "oh I'm sorry, can I take him?" My turn has finally arrived, every question I asked she either rushed a response or had to get help. The kicker is once I made the purchase the energy shifted and basically I was left to figure things out. "Go to apple, they will help you". I repeated my goal for coming in the store and I received " I understand MA'AM". That is what led to this review. Whomever is doing the hiring needs to sharpen their hiring skills. No one deserves to be treated poorly ESPECIALLY when they are seeking understanding. I'm pretty sure her co-workers are over her. I do not appreciate how I was treated. This location is not for everyone. This event took place on 6/7/24 from 3:45-5:00. Daniela L is the representative that served me. read more

No compren con Elizabeth no sabe lo que hace!!!!! If you come here make sure you AVOID ELIZABETH. She does not know what she is doing poor customer skills, she is really rude, doesn't know how to answer simple questions. She was on the phone with someone and told me she couldn't process anything with out her managers help. Save yourself a extra trip if you just don't do service with her. read more

Horrible. I switched to at&t from tmobile. I bought a new iphone 15 512gb they had to order it and when it was delivered to the store some how the phone was stolen. The crazy part is that the usps driver had informed jaime when he delivered it a day before and well jaime thought best to not believe the delivery driver and act like the delivery person told him. So we were told we would have to pay another 130$ to order another phone and its will be refunded in 10days so now thats about 300$ paid no phone. My tmobile payment was coming up so i had to pay another months phone bill with tmobile to do the number transfer. We get notified that the phone is there. We went and jaime said he doesnt know anything checks it and says USPS cancelled it and we have to pay another 130$ for a phone and it will the. Be refunded in 3 days?. Two weeks passed and we ended up going to another store to purchase the phone in person. At&t is now saying they cant refund us the fee i paid for the two phones that never arrived and we should go through our bank to get those 400$ back. Getting a new phone nightmare read more

The real issue here is Mywireless thinking they know the Midwest market. They had multiple locations in Chicagoland in 2015-2016. Seems their arrogant view of what works in Cali and Texas doesn't seem to hit this market the same. If only they listened to the people they hired when they came, perhaps they wouldn't have wasted such a market. They clearly still haven't learned anything in over 6 years. Pitiful. read more

This place is horrible - it seems like nothing but young untrained employees work here - please save your time and go to another AT&T - this location has a bunch of kids that 1st don't even know the promotions that are going on 2nd they treat their customers with attitude 3rd they just honestly don't know what they are doing read more

Please read carefully to avoid making the same mistake I did due to lack of knowledge. This store is an AUTHORIZED RETAILER. It carries the AT&T logo, as you will see on the store front, and it looks just like any other AT&T COMPANY store, BUT there is a difference. Many people (like myself) don't know what an "authorized retailer" is. AT&T authorized retail stores are a third-party dealer, meaning they are independently owned. If you purchase something at an authorized retailer, and you later on end up having an issue with the product/service, AT&T corporate will not be able to help you with the issue because the store is not company owned. Therefore your only option is to resolve the issue at the store. But the problem with that is that authorized retail employees are known to receive poor training, and in fact, many times they lie about their services. Also, authorized retailers can make up their own return policies. Whereas it might be easy to return a product at a COMPANY store, authorized retailers might deny you the option of refunding your money, or make it an extreme hassle to do so. By going to an authorized retail store you're limiting your options as a consumer. Because they're independently owned and basically don't have a corporate department, they can lie about their services and scam you out of your money and since the consumer will have no one to complain to, they get away with it. I can't speak for all authorized retail stores but this one in particular made me and my family go through all the issues I stated above. The general manager lied and gave us such poor customer service. My advice, look out for these stores. They usually say "AT&T authorized retailer at the store front." Before you purchase anything read what you're signing and make smart consumer decisions. Try to go to an actually COMPANY store, even if it's a longer drive. https://www.cwa-union.org/sites/default/files/consumerreport-6-5-2017.pdf read more

This AT&T was able to provide every detail about my bill and we're able to bring it down. They offered me a variety of promotions at the moment and we're knowledgeable about the product. Would recommend everyone to go to this location. Very clean and polite staff. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to an AT&T COMPANY store. This place is only an authorized retail store. There is a big difference. While most of the staff here are friendly, thankfully a company store was able to correct their mistakes on my accountS. EDIT: "Coincidentally" the two staff members who attended me at this store have the same names as the only other two people who have left reviews for this store(5 star reviews at that). I definitely recognized one from their picture. Wow, that says alot. Changing my rating to 1 star, integrity is a big deal. UPDATE: I see those 2 reviews have now been deleted. (Confirming my suspicions that they must've been employee reviews.) read more

I really enjoyed my time here at this store. The representatives are very friendly and make you feel at home. They are very good at explaining in detail of the services we got. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family about this store! read more

Worst experience I have ever had at any authorized dealer, being a long time AT&T customer I have always had stellar service wether it be on line, at other stores, or over the phone. The associate I spoke to needs to be re-trained on current promotions and how to handle guests in a more professional manner. Shame on this store for representing AT&T in such a poor light. read more
