They fixed it again saying the battery came disconnected. Ok , fixed. Then it kept coming disconnected several times after , now ive had this phone for years been dropped from short and long distance several times never broke the screen nor did the "BATTERY" EVER come loose or "DISCONNECTED" , yet some how the battery keeps disconnecting WITHOUT being dropped. So i told them if you have to SUPERGLUE the battery in i dont want it to "DISCONNECT" ever again from the SLIGHTEST movement. Non the less this was the like 5th time in for the same exact issue they said it was good this time and next time id be charged i said ok hope y'all SUPERGLUED it they said they got it good this time. Ok. Lone behold ONE HOUR after the Daumn thing went again when just picking it up out of my council!!!! REALLY??? Had to go buy a new one that i couldnt afford being on FIXED income after paying over $100 to "fix/replace" battery and screen that at SLIGHTEST touch goes dead. Was willing to give highest rating at first for fast repair and glad to have my phone back with great service till the same issue kept reoccurring over n over. Now i give a NEGATIVE 5* and will get service done elsewhere. Hope others have better service than i got at CPR in Cedar Falls, iowa.

    I purchased a new phone online with Verizon and was told this was nearest place I could pick up…read morephone. So I drive over and the phone was ready but for "some reason" the Verizon system wouldnt update and so she couldn't activate and give me the phone. So, after speaking to her district manager, she asks me to come back in 30 minutes. First of all, I just spent $700, the order was placed last night and she and her district manager somehow believe that it is ok to make the customer wait for the product. So, attempting to be gracious, I return after 40 minutes. Still the problem persists. So, after another 15 minutes of excuses, she contacts district manager again. So after some more excuses and fumbling around, I informed the young girl that if she cannot take care of the problem, I am canceling the sale. Now the incompetent district manager desides to attempt to resolve the issue. This fool should have been working to resolve the issue as soon as it cropped up when I arrived. As promised, I left. I drive the hour back home. Called Verizon to cancel the order. The Verizon agent contacts the store and she admitted to the Verizon agent she was new and doesn't know what she is doing and has to rely on the incompetent district manager. Now this is an 2.5 hours after I arrived and the they still were too stupid and incompetent to resolve the issue. Dont waste your time going there. They have no commitment to customer service and even the district manager has no clue about how to activate a phone after the sale. A complete waste of my time. Do make the same mistake.

    I have to say their Customer Representatives have to be some of the least knowledgeable individuals…read moreI have ever spoken with. Contacted them concerning bill that jumped $25 went from $50 to $75 in 1 month, when I inquired, they stated I had been on a promotion plan, I was never notified of this when I contacted them for service, ok not a major problem, I was told that I was getting 500 mbps service which in reality never happened more like 85-100 no matter where modem and router were located, requested a drop to 300 mbps since that was the cheaper plan and I don't need 1 gig, subsequently I checked my statement and the bill had jumped to $81.00, I called and they stated I had a eero on my account I told the rep on 4 separate times that no I did not, she argue that it may be in the garage, I explained that no I had just run a new cable from the outside connection to my modem and there was no eero box connected, she insisted it was up and running so I asked to speak with a supervisor who was just as clueless it seemed, I told her the same thing and she also insisted it was there, I realized I was getting nowhere with these 2 so I contacted via chat and spoke with ceejay who after an hour determined that I had never been sent a eero box then proceeded to ask if I had sent it back, since I had never requested a eero box I had no idea I was suppose to have been sent one but needless to say I decline to receive one, so he adjusted the bill. It should never have taken that long to get the issue resolved and subsequently I will be discontinuing my services with them as soon as my internet is switched over and all I can say is good riddance !

    If you are looking for slow & spotty internet and cable, lots of outages, long waits for repairs,…read moreconstant excuses as to why their internet is so bad, and horrible customer service then you definitely want Mediacom. Plus as a bonus when you finally jump through all 100 hoops to cancel the service, they will hound you endlessly for years and years to come back. But don't take my word for it, go find any local social media post asking who to use for internet and you will see post after post warning people to stay away from Mediacom. They have earned their bad reputation and don't seem to be the least concerned about it.
