I don't like to give bad reviews, but i feel like this could have been made right and no one is helping. Sorry to put this on the store site. But this goes to rate the company overall. I signed up for att service through Target. I was told I would get statement credits for paying the activation fees up front, discounted lines and reimbursement for the payoff of my devices (turns out it was only for my phone not my tablet). In the form of a visa gift card. Went online and submitted the information for the reward in the form of a screen shot because I didn't get paper statements. They declined to reimburse because they didn't like the submission format. So I had to call my old provider and sit on the line for an hour and request a paper statement by mail. Once I received it, I went back to their submission site and it kept telling me I could not submit because I had already submitted. I replied to their email, there was no response. So I called. Turned out I needed to go to an alternative website to submit. The person on the phone was really nice and walked me through the resubmission process where I uploaded all 5 pages of my bill. This was all still within their 60 day required time frame. After I submitted the page said to wait 6-8 weeks to get my card. The other day I realized I had not gotten my visa gift card. So I went into my email to search for information and there was no record of anything. I call in and ask what's up and after 2 phones calls, 4 employees, 1 manager and a hour and 15 minutes of my time they tell me I'm SOL because their system failed. That there is NO ONE, that can make this right. Even if there was no record, how would I know i had to go to a special website for resubmission of my firms unless I had actually done it? Furthermore, the reimbursement of the activation fees only came after I called them back and reminded them. If I wasn't paying attention they would I shorted me that. So I was supposed to get $150 back for paying off my phone and they now refused. This stinks like a scam to me. I do not recommend switching. Oh yes, when I asked to talk to someone higher up I was told there was no one else higher up to talk to me. What a shame. read more

I went to the Brookfield, WI AT&T store on 6/7 to discuss a couple of issues with the AT&T wireless service. But the store employee was very rude and not answering any questions and asking me to go away without helping with the service or answering my questions. When I asked for manager to talk to, she was asking me to go away and not to comeback again. It was a very insulting and horrible experience and will never step into this store. I will cancel my AT&T service if AT&T honors these kind of employees. read more

At&t you are death to me but I'm also going to advertise what kind of bad company you are. Costumer Service on the phone refers me to the store and when I go to the store in Bluemound, Brookfield WI refer me to the Customer Service on the phone. Employees at this store are rude specially "one" that seems to believe that women are less than men like they do on his heritage country. I called to speak with the manager of this store to address the bad behavior and they won't transfer the call if I don't provide the reason for calling and my full name. I asked for the name of the employee that didn't want to connect me with the manager and I was told that he wouldn't provide his name if I didn't provide mine first. He was beyond rude. This behavior must be something that is Ok around this store and employees feel entitle to behave that way, treating customers like they are doing them a favor and we customers should be grateful. No wonder why this store is always empty or closed. Im pretty sure this store specifically will go out of business very soon due to the lack of customers. read more

Customer service reps and sales staff at this location generally are friendly and helpful. The staff is knowledgeable about the products and services offered through AT&T and I have not dealt with anyone rude or unpleasant. I've visited the store several times for questions on my home AT&T U-Verse service as well as my AT&T wireless service/devices and have had my questions/concerns addressed each time. The lack of a higher rating is due to the wait time and sales efforts to push unnecessary services and accessories. On several visits I have waited over 30 minutes for help where there have been no more than 3 or 4 other customers waiting in the store. When finally serviced it does seem to take the service reps a very long time to look up account information or proceed through the checkout process. Half the time spent with sales reps it seems like they are looking up information on their iPad devices or "checking on something". When purchasing/upgrading phones I also have felt heavily pressured into purchasing accessories or services I was not interested in. I understand that there may be some commission based incentive for sales reps to do this with customers, but these types of experiences are what drives me to shop online rather than in-store. read more

My husband and I stopped in this past weekend to check when we were due for an upgrade on our phones. We put our name on the list (we were 3rd) - but we ended up waiting for about 30-40 minutes before we just decided to leave. There were about 4-5 employees working but sometimes there were 2 employees helping one customer. I wonder how hard it is to find the necessary accessories and phones that it requires 2 employees to help 1 person. There was also a women who just took down names of people coming in - if it an easy answer like finding out when we're due for an upgrade, can't you help us? I don't know if I'll be back to this store....I've been to others where the service was faster. read more

I've had an ongoing issue with AT&T for a few months now. We got new phones through the AT&T Next plan and returned the old phones in the mail to AT&T. They said they only received one of the phones and charged us for the 2nd one. After numerous phone calls to customer service and providing them with the proof of return, they finally told me to visit a store to take care of it so this is the store I visited. Yes, it took awhile to receive my credit and yes, I did have to deal with one person who gave me some incorrect information. However I need to give credit to Mike - who took my proof of return and contacted customer service on my behalf so I wouldn't have to call them again. That was a huge help since I was so ticked off every time I spoke with them. The other great help was one of their managers Dave - after dealing with the issue for several months, I went to the store yesterday to speak with a manager and Dave had the credit applied to our account before I left the store. I understand that issuing a credit of over $100 needs approval and investigating the issue is necessary, but this took entirely way too long. I appreciate that Dave didn't let this issue go on any longer (to investigate further) and just took charge and got it resolved within a half hour of meeting him. He just wanted to take care of the issue and have me leave the store with no questions or need to follow up again. AT&T is back in my good graces again all thanks to Dave and Mike! read more

After being mugged Tuesday night at gun point, having my iPhone and wallet taken, I talked with AT&T for over two hours on Wednesday. I was told by their customer service rep. that there was nothing they could do for me, despite not even being a customer and having that phone for a full year yet, "wariness don't include theft". I was transferred to their loyalty department and told that I would be sent a Samsung Galaxy S, FREE OF CHARGE and would receive it on the 2nd of December-I haven't received a single thing. Concerned by this, being without a phone, an ID, or any kind of access to funds for a week now, I went to the nearest AT&T store to find out what the hell was going on. They informed me that there was nothing about it on my account at all, that yes I talked to their loyalties department but there was no order, no note, no anything on my account. I then spent, in store, another hour and a half on the phone with their loyalties department AGAIN, being put on hold 3 different times, transferred from loyalties, to customer service then back to loyalties again... while the AT&T employee sat near by playing CANDY CRUSH ON HIS PHONE-there's nothing they can do. So what, I made it up?! Are you kidding me? How can their employee promise a replacment phone free of charge, give the type of phone, the date it will arrive, confirm the address of where to ship it to and then NOT. DO. THAT?!? Now after ALL OF THIS, AT&T can't do anything for me - No wait, they did offer me the option of buying ANOTHER phone, and purchasing a second line (and of course asking who my internet and cable provider is, because that's what you ask someone who's been mugged, right? Try and bleed MORE money from them, right?!) and they're STILL making me pay the remaining $500 of the iPhone listed in my POLICE REPORT as stolen! UNBELIEVABLE! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!! This experience was almost as bad as having your phone taken at gun point!!! Thanks a lot AT&T for making this awful ordeal even worse. read more

Promised by an AT&T sales represent from customer care that a technician will be here at a promised time. 4 hours later I called customer care again talked to Cindy which then tells me there was a technical problem that services can't be done today due to technical problems. I will be getting a call from them stating a new time/date after having this appointment way over a week ago to now tell me on the day of that services can't be done today. Really Att after moving mountains around for my personal schedule you tell me this today when you could have called or emailed or some sort of communication before time. Then tells me it could be done today. So what is it?! Inconvenience! And Att quit bouncing customers back and forth you really need to get your customer service act straight. Do I recommend AT&T U-verse services customer service wise, no check other options out there before considering AT&T. read more

Terrible customer service, staff is only knowledgeable enough to sell you new phones. If you have issues with AT&T you should just switch carriers and not bother trying to fix your issue. Since their merger the quality of customer care is much lower. I switched from a post pay account to prepay and in doing so AT&T messed up my account and also charged me more money on my final postpay bill then an ordinary month of service. The only reason was because I switched. Their policy is to try and get a full next month of service from you, even though you didn't have service for the whole month. Does that sound fair to anyone! Now the bill is with collections since the account is no longer active. No one at AT&T cares to credit a 10+ year customer because the company no longer cares about retaining customers. If I could give no stars I would, but I think I have to give at least 1 star. Its not like I'm asking for the world, just a credit for the part of the month I didn't even use. I'm asking for a $75 credit, does this seem unreasonable? read more

At&t is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with they do not care about their customers, rather it's simply about a premium charge for sub par service. There agents may at times be polite, and pleasant, but can't really provide the help you need because of At&t's poor business practices. I am truly sorry I ever signed up with this abysmal company. I put down a $450 deposit for services and I was lied to about what that deposit was going to be used for. I was originally told that the money would be used towards my bill. To be truthful, I don't know what it's for, I halfway believe it was just to get there mediocre TV service. My service has gone out several times and techs came out but did not know what the problem was. They suspend your service and charge you fees to reconnect you $30, I've paid something on my bill every month, and her they cut me off with no regard. I've been a dissatisfied customer for over a year. Bottom line back to Time Warner DO NOT CHOOSE AT&T. THE one star is for there agents. Matthew Evans read more

How do I even start this? I wanted AT&T for service to my apartment, well, I really didn't but it was them or Time Warner. I went to this store first and asked what they could do for a TV & internet package. While he was looking options up I went on the website to see what I could find. I found the option I wanted for 49.99 a month. I told him that's what I wanted and he said the best he could do was less internet speed and less channels for twice as much. So I went through the internet. After the internet install, the DirectTV crew came out (the only employees that were any help at all) but they couldn't install the dish due to my apartment facing the wrong direction. So they gave me a number to call to get uverse. I've called three times now, each time being on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes. Then I talk to someone that I have to explain the situation to every time, tell them I can't have DirecTV because my apartment doesn't face the correct way. They ask me what channels I want with uverse and I tell them I want a package similar to the DirecTV package I wanted. They explain to me that I can't have DirecTV because my apartment doesn't face the right way... As if I hadn't just been the one to explain that to them. After having that conversation twice they tell me they are going to give me a great deal. Less channels than I wanted, half as fast internet and they're going to knock $40 off my monthly bill! It'll only be $97 a month plus tax and the other extra stuff... So now I call and they tell me that I can't get a package from the internet, I can't get a package cheaper than $97 a month through the phone service and I "have" to go with that because they are telling me I can't choose to not have TV services now. That's ridiculous. I'm debating cancelling all together, taking them to small claims for the charges they've already charged me for services I didn't get. Such as a DirecTV install that didn't happen. I'll go with Time Warner and deal with their crappy service that I would actually get instead of service I pay for and att can't provide. read more
