The rep who changed out our Sim cards at the store did not tell us that we would lose all of our saved voicemails. I had over 40 saved business related emails saved from clients which I discovered after the fact are now lost. I would have downloaded and saved those voicemails had I been properly informed.

Unfortunately he was missing some of my info and was not able to complete the claim. I physically go into the store after wrestling with this problem for a few days. The young man that helped me was training and was completely clueless about what to do. I literally had to walk him through what I thought he had to do. The manager just let him struggle when there was nothing else going on in the store. I forgot to bring my phone and prefaced the interaction by saying I would go back home if I needed the phone. He insisted that wasn't necessary. There was a lot of time just sitting there while the kid being trained looked for his managers help. I was patient and cleaned my computer while they figured their shit out. They called the claim center and went through the call center procedure. I recited my info over and over while this kid slowly input my info... Like, write it down lol. After 30-45 minutes the person on the line said they needed to troubleshoot my phone. Im like... well now I have to drive home, retrieve my phone and by the time I do that you'll be closed. Why the fuck did I wait all this time?! I should have done this all myself and it's super irritating and disheartening to have this treatment. There is zero competency or urgency with anything. I seriously don't even want to deal with Verizon. Or any Walmart. Why do I have to bag my own groceries!? hate the modern world smh... They need to get their act together and be knowledgable about their procedures. It should not be this difficult.

However, my wife and I went to High Country Cellular this afternoon on routine Verizon business. (The store is an authorized Verizon dealer.) We entered to observe all three clerks / technicians engaged with other customers - AND not a one of the three staff members wearing a mask. This is stupid; self-defeating; and AGAINST the town ordinances of Granby and the rules of the State of Colorado. My wife and I are over 60 so part of the "vulnerable" population. As was at least one other customer ahead of us. While we had been satisfied on prior visits and, again, like to patronize small, local shops, we departed as soon as we observed this arrogant lack of safety. If High Country Cellular does not wish to abide by reasonable, common-sense health precautions and follow local and state law, then it should close its doors. Very disappointing.
