Price: $7,500! I thought more about it as that was a hefty price tag. I went to another orthodontist for a second opinion, who took the time to look at my teeth and do a full work up showing what my teeth would look like at the end. No bottom retainer needed. Price: $2,800. While the staff was great at Askler, they crazy over charge and would recommend getting a second opinion before signing at the dotted line.

Dr. Tyska and his assistant Kristen showed genuine concern and listened to feedback, demonstrating a commitment to patient care. But recently, I had such an unfortunate interchange with their office manager and staff. I called to book an appointment for my daughter to get a quote on another round of braces (she never wore her retainers and teeth shifted back). The front desk told me there would be a fee for return clients but not for new clients. That didn't make sense to me so I said no thank you. I already received a complimentary consultation elsewhere with a quote. And they did NOT charge me. The front desk told me she would have someone call me back. Sure. I got a call back and told the same thing. Ok. Then I proceeded to cancel my appointment. The office (wish I remembered her name), said she would ask the doctors and call me back (again). Days later I received a call and told there would be no fee. Great. My husband brought my daughter yesterday and sure enough, I am charged $85.00. Called and spoke to the office manager. She handled it very poorly, and kept explaining that they did a lot of "extra's" and that the $85 was actually a great deal. The thing is, I didn't ask for any extra's. I just wanted to know if I would be paying the same price for another round of braces and to see if I could get some kind of discount as a returning patient. This manager made a point to say that there was no record of my previous conservations and therefore, she would not do anything. I have worked for years in private practice - Manhattan - selling elective medical cosmetic procedures. I understand how this works. It is not about the money but about the practice keeping their word and honoring their commitment to the patient. I spoke to them 3x before our actual appointment and they still charged me. First let me say that I have no fear of dentistry at all so you can read the review with that in mind and imagine how it would be for someone who does have these issues. Recently I had something ,other than my usual every six month cleaning year after year, occur and I needed it handled as soon as possible. I called my usual Amherst office and explained the situation to the office staff who were very nice and had me speak to Dr Laura Littman. Dr Littman was absolutely wonderful. She understood my concern and wanted to get me in the correct situation as soon as possible. She was so very helpful in getting me in to the Orchard Park office that day. When I arrived at the Orchard Park office their staff was so welcoming. Nikki ( assistant) and Dr Fallon never made me feel like I disrupted their schedule. Dr Fallon asked questions and listened to the answers. Asked if the angle of the chair was comfortable for me, generally was very conscious of me as a patient my comfort and any possible concerns. He resolved the issue and gave me all the information I needed. His chair side manner was above and beyond doctors in any science. The checkout staff was equally thoughtful and helpful topping off the whole experience with kindness. I can't express my thanks enough and how impressed I was by everyone from my first phone call to the Amherst office to checking out at the Orchard Park office, by everyone.

I was in need of a bite adjustment after having a crown recently placed. Hoping for the best, I decided to give this office a call to schedule an appointment. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I've had some unpleasant dental experiences with other practices over the years... Upon walking into the office, I felt very welcomed by Robin (the office receptionist.) The lobby was very cozy, and there was almost no wait time. One of the dental assistants brought me back to the exam room until Dr. Kneib could see me. The assistant was very kind and receptive to my concerns. I didn't feel the initial anxiety that I'd typically feel when going to a new dentist. The exam room was very comfortable, and all of the equipment was high tech. After a short five minutes of wait time in the exam chair, Dr. Kneib walked in. My bite adjustment procedure was thoroughly explained by using modern technology to ensure the most optimal results. I could tell that Dr. Kneib is truly passionate about what he does, which made me feel reassured x100. I never felt rushed once, and all of my questions were answered honestly, and not just 'answered around'. I actually felt valued here. The overall energy and dedication of this practice is wonderful. I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner. They insisted I get a denture more to the fit what they thought I should have instead of what I wanted. I have wore dentures for over 20 years. None of them wear dentures, but they just wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. I even moved out of state and came back for a fitting to make sure they would be correct. They sent me the dentures in a box and pretty much was like good luck the last I heard from them. I'm adding a photo. The denture on the left is what they wanted me to have. The one in the middle is the one that I wanted and this was stressed on my last visit. Lastly, the behavior from Dr. Kneib was sometimes unprofessional and rude. If you ask why I stayed was because I paid for my denture in full. And I felt like I really didn't have a choice. I see why they always have a sign that says taking new patients. Good luck!

They took X-rays and Dr. Embury went over every one of my challenging teeth and told me what to expect. One tooth has "gone through fillingville and is headed to crown town."
