The BEST place to have your car tinted!! Customer Service and Product knowledge is excellent. Quality of work and Product Brand is topnotch. This was my first time to have my car tinted, naturally I was overhelmed, confused and uncertain about the shades/tint/light/heat but she explained to me in detail and even have me take a look at an actual show car for shade/tint effect on light and heat. The job was finished and delivered at my office doorstep in no time! AWESOME isn't it? And the Price is very very affordable. Overall I was totally (100%) impressed and I will surely comeback. Luv 'em!!! read more

I called first thing in the morning, even though they had a full schedule, the lady kindly fit me in. Very happy with the tint job, the ladies at the front were nice. Great job and great prices! read more

Scheduled 2 tints with a co worker. They were flexible with our times and let us pick up when it was most convenient. They gave us a very competitive price(it was smokin!) They were very helpful with going over all their qualities of film and colors. There was a previous tint on my car that left spots of glue making it difficult to tint. They called and let me know that they would take care of it as part of their service. Very pleased with their service and will return again. read more

A great place to get your car tinted. I had an appointment in morning, they were very accommodating and professional. My car was done inside of three and a half hours. The staff is friendly and courteous. The work is top notch and they are very detail oriented. I inspected when the job was done, found a tiny little spot that needed attention, they fixed it quickly before I drove off. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I have had several cars tinted here. They use a better quality tint that always seems to last. Highly recommended for product, service and quality of installation.. read more

Search no more for the best auto tinting anywhere! I've had it done before on other vehicles at other places, but nothing compares to the quality of product AND service you get at Astro Eclipse. The prices are are very competitive. Maggie will give you the absolute best customer service you've ever had. She's the greatest! read more

They did an amazing job with my tint. The customer service is great. I will definitely comeback.

After my experience with this company, I found other complaints including this major one: http://newsball.com/astro-eclipse-scam/ Similarly, they charged me again to redo a poor quality job they did. The crappy city they are in is the first sign that you should avoid at all costs. Maggie & the owner Jim are rude, disrespectful, & will not make things right. read more

GROUPON purchasers BEWARE!This is my first negative review not one to complain and if I have an issue I bring it up to the business and they handle it accordingly. In purchased a groupon to get my windows tinted. Went to schedule an appointment the lady said I could come in that day. She took all my info down and asked how I heard about the place I said on groupon, I actually hear about this place because I am a manager of a large apartment complex down the road, should have said that so maybe I could have got my windows rented. Anyways once I told her I found it on groupon she said ohhh I can't take you today it would have to be next week I said okay that's fine. I booked my appt. I cancelled my appt because u have to drop ur car off at 8 on a weekday and that didn't work for me. I called back right now luckily this time she asked how i heard about the place first, before telling me I could have a same day appt. She then said their would be a $15 upgrade for SUV well last time I call no one said this. Anyways now the said the appt are 2 weeks away, but if u dont purchase the groupon she could take u same day. She said cause groupon pays a month later. If you schedule people this way you shouldn't use groupon for your business. It's bad business. Should be first come first serve. This is discrimination for groupon users. You better bet I won't be recommending this place to residents in Placentia area as I love supporting small business that so right to there customers. I'm a avid groupon purchaser never has appointment issue. Having a groupon has never made a difference in the service provided. So BEWARE grouponers! read more

Dishonest? Shame on you for being the dishonest one. 3 times to do 1 window? maybe your defensive because you did the job? My window barely rolls down now. When I take it to Range Rover for them to look at it, I'll be sure to send you the bill. "Bring it in so we can look at it and set another appointment". Just excuses. My time is much more valuable than to keep returning to your establishment. I have Every reason to be upset, but if you need the $100 for those 2 windows that bad, go ahead and keep it. I don't have time to do business with dishonest people. People deserve to know the truth. read more

I do not recomend this business at all. My experience was that I scheduled an appt. On Thursday evening, for Tuesday morning at 10 am. I showed up a little bit before 10, than after talking to Maggie the front desk lady and telling me my option I made my decision. After that she told me that I was going to take minimum of 2-3 hrs, which was fine with me. After 3 hrs she called me to let me know that my car it wasn't going to be ready but after 5 pm, so I said, ok it's fine no problem. Little bit before 5 she called me again to tell me that my car wasn't going to be ready but after 6:30 pm cause they're were short stuff during a personal matter in one of the technicians ( which it was a lie) after that she called me AGAIN. To let me know that my car was really hard to be work on due the rubber seals on the windows been to tide and also as she told me before they're were short handed, she said AGAIN it's going to be ready around 7:30 but she was going to called me to let me know the status on it. So at 7 pm she called AGAIN and she said I'm sorry your car it's not ready yet but we're working on it right now it's should be ready soon, by that time I star to worried and I said listen you have to tell me what's going on and she said nothing we're just short handed. 7:15 she called AGAIN and she said listen my supervisor wants to know if you can leave you car until tomorrow, cause they were having difficultys working on in and, I said wait, I drop off the car at 10 am it's 7:30 pm and the car it's not Ready, she said I'm sorry it's just we were working on a car that they were having problems With since a year ago! Than I said I can't leave my car, I need my car to go to work, if I don't go to work I don't get paid. And she said I know and I understand but I don't want you to come later night to pick up your car. So I said I'm going to see who can give me a ride firts tomorrow to pick up my car as earliest possible and she said that's fine it'll be ready any time tomorrow, so I said listen I want you to talk to your supervisor to give 20% off for the inconvenience that this it has been for me. So I said talk to you supervisor and let it know that's what I want and can do, I think it was more than fair for my time wasted, 5 mins. After the supervisor lady named Allie called me and she said Maggie told me that you want 20% off and I said yes for the inconvenience and bad experience that this has been, and she said well its because one of our techs. Brother die and he had to leave, so I said REALLY (been sarcastic) and she said just come and pick up you car, and I said is it ready and she said no, we haven't even star working on it, and I said why you guys didn't told me since the morning this and she said we didn't want out costumer to know about our employees personal life, and I said I don't want to know no one's life, but would be nice to have a work ethic and said: we're sorry but we're going to have to reschedule you due a lack of stuff. Instead been a liers and no ethic. I really don't know how the presume to be 30 years in the business when it's more than obvious that they just liers and lack of morality as a business. PEOPLE OF ORANGE COUNTY STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAD, VERY BAD BUSINESS! They just gonna waste your time and make you really unhappy and ruin your day! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!! read more

Let me first start this off, by letting you all know that I have NEVER reviewed on yelp, ever. This place had good reviews and and was extremely close to my work, so i dropped my new car off to get an all around tint. I called before and was quoted the following: "its normally 225, but if you do it this week its $175, and if you do it today its $150." Great- i was there in an hour. The car took about 3 hours to complete, and when I got it back i was very pleased at the quality. The reason I am writing this review is for a seperate reason other than the tint quality. After waiting the 3-5 days to roll my windows down, i rolled down my passenger front window to find that it wasn't able to roll UP. Seeing as this was a new car, I called Honda to see if I had time to bring in my car to the service department to get the malfunctioning window repaired. I didnt say a word to the Honda tech about my window tinting, but the first question he asked was if I got my windows recently tinted. I replied yes, and he told me that sometimes window tinters forget to plug in the connector for the windows, which would cause the problem i was having. If that was the case, Honda would charge me the cost of the labor ($115 an hour). The next morning, I took my car back to Astro Eclipse and spoke with the girl in the front about my issue. She proceeded to tell me that Astro Eclipse does not take off door panels (for that exact reason) and that they use a plotter to do all of their tinting. I responded with a "well thats really coincidental" and told them I would go to Honda to see what the problem was. I went to Honda (a completely seperate dealership then the one i called or the one i bought my car from) and told them what was happening. After a 2.5 hour wait, Honda told me that the error was because of the connector being left out at the after market tint shop, and therefore was not covered by the warranty (yayy for $115). Obviously, I am now feeling extremely frustrated as i have to go back to the tint shop. I return, and tell the girl in the front, with a receipt and documented diagnosis from Honda that the issue was a result of the connector being loose when the door panel was removed that I'd like them to reimburse me the charge from Honda. The girl in the front was of little help, but she did get her Estimator (Jim) to come downstairs and discuss the issue with me. He went on to tell me how they don't take off door panels, and invited me upstairs to view the video surveillance of when they worked on my car. He proves to me that they didn't take off door panels, and although i was originally being a complete asshole, he offered to save the file on a flash drive so I could take it to Honda and show them that they were wrong. I went back to Honda and the minute i said they had it on video, they reimbursed me my $115. I felt like an idiot being so rude at the tint shop...but i can't say enough about how helpful Jim was. The girl in the front could use some work on her customer service/communication skills but that doesnt justify a "star removal". She was patient with me but she was looking at me like I was a moron from the minute I walked in the door (who knows maybe I am). As for the tint, if you get work done there and go back for more work on the same car, they will give you a better deal. Overall I'm very satisfied with Astro Eclipse. Unfortunately, i can't say the same about greedy Hardin Honda. I'll be taking future vehicles back to Astro for tinting. read more

I came here exactly two months in May, 2013, to get my 2nd Prii tinted, and I decided on limo tint (5%) all around, since my last Prii was dark (15%) and I still felt there was too much visibility. I was charged $175, which I thought was reasonable, and I could have paid less had I gone with a lower quality film. The job took about three hours, which really didn't matter since I work around the corner and got rides back and forth, but it was still nice when you read about other places taking twice as long. Clarisse, who holds the fort down and is a pleasure to work with (and cute as a button), went down on her price several times, which is great because you feel like you are getting a deal, especially when you compare it to other tint places in the area, which quoted me almost double for a similar package. I was so pleased with the initial tint that in two months time, I have referred three people there, who were very pleased with the pricing, although my one friend, who is a bit of a stickler, had a couple complaints about some scratches and a bubble the size of a pinhead. i even got a ticket a couple weeks back, i have had my tint removed on my front windows and reapplied the same day, along with a banner across the windshield to further block out light, for $60. by now i probably have spent what i would have had i gone elsewhere, since other places will sell you a lifetime warranty to remove and replace tint in the event you get a citation, but i still feel satisfied. I like this place, and I will continue to refer people and bring all my cars here. read more

OMG; Really! I have a signed contract dated 4/12/13 for $967.50 to do 8 windows in my home; 264 square feet, 3 large windows and 5 small windows. The scheduled installation was this morning, 4/20/13 (that would be 8 days later) at 8am. Your installer shows up almost an hour late and then tells me he only has material for 3 of the windows. ARE YOU kidding me!!! What kind of SCAM operation are you people running? So the plan was to install 3 windows and never show up again? What a bunch of losers; I can't wait to see the going out of business signs! I feel sorry for your employees and I recommend that they all find a better company to work for as your company is doomed to fail sooner rather than later. read more

I went to this place thinking they were gonna do a good job cause my friend recommended it.. But no a complete different story took my car in waited for 3 hours.. 3 hours past by. BEWARE!!! If you plan to take your car here, make sure you inspect your car thoroughly inside and out before you leave...I found over a six inch crack on the rear panel located behind the seats. Unfortunately, I noticed it nearly three weeks after I had to fix their sloppy mess when they left my seatbelts stuck behind my rear seats. I spoke to Alyssa to see if they would take responsibility for it, but she told me there was no documentation indicating there was damage on the panel before and after they completed the work. Coincidence?? You be the judge...Another Groupon casualty! read more

I had the front windows on my GMC Sierra truck tinted with the Formula One Pinnacle med/dark tint. Amazing job. Maggie, in the front office, was so patient and helpful. She explained the different options and upgrades so nicely. She recommended the shade, as I wanted it to match the rear factory tinted windows. She was spot on. Looks perfect. I was able to get it done the same day that I called. I highly recommend them and I promise their prices are about the best that can be found. read more

What an excellent service, the guys were swift and did a fantastic job on my F150 truck. They guided me into what selection I should have and informed me of what to expect after the installation. The very few and little water bubbles cleared up within 2 days and now have fantastic tints. It really has made a huge difference to the temperature in the cab. The windshield strip across the top is amazing, no more being blinded by the low sun, guys thank you so much, your the best..... Wolfie read more

My son found this company Groupon online and insited to go for tinting his window. On the day we dropped the car for the appointment, the front lady had bad attitude and told us she didn't see our appointment at all since she didn't take the call the other day. We droved 40 min to get there, and not expect that result. Then she tried to direct my son to do upgrade with another $55 on top of Groupon $99. My son was 17 year old and not have experience for those type of sales push even I have to pay for the final price. Then the lady not talking to me because I don't think it's worth that much. Finally she got my son's agreement to pay. After 7 hrs, my son called back asking about if the car was ready. She said something about the back window cannot be done because window was not able to move. I was not sure why it took her 7 hrs to let us know that. Finally, we have to pick up the car. To avoid her yelling at me, I didn't go to the office, but she came out yelling to me saying that "don't let your mom touching the window". Well, it's my son's car, but I paid for everything! I don't deserve to be yelled as a customer at the end. I won't use this company for my tiniting service just because of bad attitude from front desk lady. NZ read more

These guys are top notch!! They are the best! Two years ago, I was calling around to get our windows for our business tinted. They came in, gave an estimate and presented us with a detailed info package. Talk about impressed. Then I had then come a 2nd time to put the decals, displaying our business name on the decals for the windows. Same exact service as before. They are excellent. On their 3rd visit, I had them come and put vinyl on a small window above our glass door. It was a small job and I knew it was not too much of a priority. I was wrong! Jim came out and did it himself. He is the best. He is considerate, kind, understanding. He cares to know who he is doing business with. He asked me how I was doing and remembered something I told him from a few years back that most people would forget! You will not be disappointed with Astro Eclipse. If I have business for this company, I will always call them! Small details go along way!! Thank you Jim! read more

Husband bought a gift cert for Christmas 2013 for $220 to re-tint my Mercedes. When I got around to calling in May 2014 (5 months later) they say we don't remove tint on weekends, so I can drop it off for 2 days during the week or on Friday to be picked up Monday night. Really, I'm going to leave my car for 2 days or 4 days for tint? I've owned 20 cars and NEVER had a problem with Tint. So we figured we'll just use it when we get a new car, got a new car (same model Mercedes) so should be no problem with # of windows AND we don't need tint removed now. Call for an appt, they say READ THE FINE PRINT, your $220 gift certificate is expired now. Really, you collected the money, were a pain and now won't honor the services we paid for? Ok, small claims court and complaints to Better Business, State of CA, etc. do much more harm than the $220 causes us. We are small business owners and believe in quality and not screwing our customers, so they made their decision and I'll do what I have to do drive home what we call the----principal of a matter. read more
