It ended up taking a few weeks to trouble shoot cause there was snow on my panels but they were good to follow up and see if things were back online or not. Their effort and responsiveness really impressed me. My solar is back online thanks to them, and sooner than anyone else who reached out. You can tell they care about the customer, their reputation, and provide excellent value. This company is great and I have nothing but good things to say about them. It is now June of 2025 and they have yet to connect our system to our existing PG&E account. This has resulted in us paying over $11K in electric costs while PG&E has gotten $11K in free electricity from us. We have tried everything in our power, but Extreme Solar has yet to complete the necessary paperwork to connect the two systems. Our next step will be small claims court to try and recoup at least some of our cost. So if you're considering using them, buyer beware, you may not see your solar credit for over two years.

Luckily for me one of the companies I reached out to was Go Solar Pros. Although they don't have a ton of reviews on Yelp (I think they mainly focus on commercial rather than residential) they seemed extremely knowledgeable, were very responsive and upfront with me. Their prices were also extremely reasonable. As such I decided on them. I corresponded with Conrad mainly and signed up during the busy season so I knew installation would be several months out. Conrad gave me a rough estimate which I expected to be a month or two sooner than the actual date, but to my surprise he was spot on. I really appreciate companies that are honest and upfront and Go Solar Pros has always been with me. Installation took place over a couple days unfortunately during the hottest days in the summer but the team were troopers. Everyone was polite, respectful and put up with all my technical questions and concerns. Not once did I feel as if I was a bother or inconvenience to them. The installation went well and looks clean. There was a hiccup at the end when it came to permits with the city, however GSP was on it and able to get the issue resolved in a reasonable amount of time. After the system was installed and payment completed there was an issue with one of the micro converters. GSP was great in troubleshooting, working with Enphase and ultimately replaced the micro converter under warranty. It is also great to work with a company such as Go Solar Pros that offers after sales support and is prompt with resolution even during the busy season. Mine receive full sun exposure with 10 east and 10 south facing. They are also the only company that would install the panels I wanted, REC alpha pure rx 460's with 2 Tesla power wall 3 batteries. The install was clean with no conduit running along the roof , everything fed thru attic. I produce more power than my friends 26 panels ( all south facing) q cell system. I was so worried about this purchase, however now I'm just disappointed. Disappointed I didn't hire Sunmade sooner!

We have made multiple phone calls over the years needing assistance with system issues and were constantly told someone would call us back. Those calls rarely happened, to the point that my husband drove 40 miles to their office just to speak to someone in person - with no resolution. Because SIG solar failed to provide support, WE had to contact the inverter manufacturer, twice in the past few years to get the system functioning, something the installer should have handled. When we just recently realized that we needed our roof replaced, SIG solar charged us $8000.00 to remove and reinstall the panels. We had to pay it because we did not want to do anything to jeopardize our warranty, effectively forcing us into this expense. This company appears focused on sales, not long-term service. For a major investment like solar, this level of non-responsiveness and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Experiences like this are why homeowners rely on consumer protection and contractor oversight agencies.

When I called, I was treated very nicely on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. Diagostic appointments are $89 during the week and $149 on Saturday. Our technician, Wes, was very professional, on time and easy to talk to. He came out and checked the unit (we needed a different fuse) and turned the unit on and got it running. I was very happy with the service from the ladies in the office to Wes our technician. Just a heads up, they have a monthly maintenance plan ($12.95 a month) that they will try and sell you. It includes an annual check of your A/C unit and of your heater. Any additional work or service calls are then 20% off. Just an FYI, if it is a good deal for you, then I would suggest getting it, if not, they will still service you. Thank you Honey's for making our experience a Sweet One!

Walk down what they will be doing and always listens to our concerns as well. Today we got to meet Lorenzo, the tech that will be servicing us today. Just wow, what a nice guy and thorough as well cleaned our unit like his own. He also showed us some before and after pics. He also made a suggestion when he found out I had bad allergies and saw the 3 air purifiers throughout the house. lol. He recommended us to get the unit that plugs into out HVAC unit. So far I'm impressed of the install and can wait to see if it makes a difference, it should and kill any bacteria as well. Anyways I hope this review helps, tell them yelp sent you!!
