Awesome service. Easy online booking. Driver arrived 15 minutes early. The car was clean and the driver was well dressed.

Some people really want to put the "oh" in Ohio, don't they?…read moreI needed last minute transportation to Ohio, something that wouldn't place me behind the wheel or cost me an arm and a leg. I hadn't taken the bus in half a decade, but I decided I can be brave. And in some lines you don't have to be. The buses themselves are a 'your mileage may vary' situation, pun intended. My ride in from Buffalo and to back home were cushy and clean. Granted I'm petite, but both trips I sat alone next to my unchecked knapsack (I'm not saying I have anything deadly but they trusted me to not) instead of stowing it in the vast under storage or the compact overhead compartment. There's something attached to the seat in front of me that presses down to rest your feet, a net like pouch, sturdy cupholders and an outlet down there too for all your travel ease. There are bags hanging for trash, vents and personal lights. And unlike my trek from Columbus, where I stood an extra half hour due to delay at a sign on the side of the road, only to sit on an overstuffed, unclean bus in a seat not assigned to me (mine was stolen and I got relocated across from a man with a branch sized stick that the driver allowed on board, fearing possible impalement), at least this one has a terminal. Even if it's in shambles. I noticed in both of my waits at the station a few things. First off, it's bustling. There are three sets of chairs, mostly filled by people spacing away strangers with luggage, people crouched on the ground and pacing on phone convos. There's a closed restaurant space that could be used for more seating but isn't. If you're hungry, there are expensive vending machines (if you have the time, leave the terminal for local eats) with drinks, ice cream, snacks and even fresher food you can microwave. When I first arrived, I beelined past this, both occasions, to use the loo. Wednesday I noticed the toilet ever flushing, chalked it up to a hiccup. When I returned Friday, about 48 hours later, I was the Goldilocks of toilets. One door couldn't lock, three were full of pee, one had poop stains, one was out of paper and one was still flushing. I opted for the handicap stall. Both times the soap was empty. The drinking fountain looked unclean and didn't work. Thankfully I didn't have to waste much time, taking in the ambiance of a screen playing some sort of attempt of entertainment (the bus actually has free wifi and some streamable content that I would have used had I brought headphones as the subtitles were a no go) and trying to stretch my legs before the long journey. There's a lot of shouting for gate numbers. They do their best to make sure everyone is well aware that they need to be in the right places, and I did notice a few repeat workers that honestly seem to give two hoots about being good at their job. Is Greyhound perfect? Not by a longshot. Are they going to get me to my adventure and back in one piece at the most affordable price, even at the cost of basic sanitation? Yes.

If you are booking this company for a bachelor, bachelorette, wedding, concert, etc...RUN…read more Cleveland Party Bus Rentals, BVIP, and VIP party buses are all busses that will serve you MUCH BETTER THAN PLATINUM. Picture this: you and your friends get together for a blossom concert to enjoy what you have left of the summer, and the next morning, you wake up to an email saying you will be getting charged for "Damages." When you ask what was broken, they respond that everything is functional and no damage was done. They go on and charge your account $500 and never give you the reason for doing so. I contacted my bank, and they issued me the money back, but I got a letter charging for miscellaneous fees. When we tried to contact them multiple times, there was no response to our continuous emails and calls. Seven months later, we are still dealing with the repercussions of this horrible company. TRUST THIS COMPANY. I have heard numerous reports that DIDDY parties have been held here, too. If you wanted to get screwed over so badly, I would suggest having your husband, wife, or a friend DO IT FOR YOU. I REPEAT, THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH IT! All the five stars are fake accounts that they have made to promote their horrible, sketchy, and trashy bus.

My experience with Platinum started off so well, but unfortunately when it came time to really show…read moretheir customer service, their true colors showed. I had a reservation for a bachelorette group for a winery tour on May 15th. Unfortunately on May 2nd the mother of the bride was admitted to the James Cancer Center's ICU due to a complication with her battle of stage 4 lung cancer. We weren't sure how it would go, as no one does, so we waited for the bride to let us know. Unfortunately as the days passed, her mother hadn't recovered enough for the group to make it out of town. The bride was the power of medical attorney. We contacted platinum on the last possible day to get a partial refund (which we were understanding of, it's in the contract) however we were met with a complete lack of empathy or help. They said they can still bring the bus to Columbus but we would need to pay more, otherwise we would lose the money. We stated we were within the contract & the 5 days of the event & the response was "I don't have the contract in front of me, I'm not in the office." It was 4 pm at this point on a Monday after calling and dealing with them all morning. Finally we brought in a legal aid rep to call & we got a partial refund. At NO POINT was there an expression of apologies or understanding surrounding the reason why. We had to fight all day to get a partial refund. Finally, today, I was able to send a letter the social worker helping on behalf of the family sent to help with financial obligations we might not have been able to hold up on our end. I sent the letter, along with an admittedly not very nice email stating how awful the customer service had been, additionally with a link to the now viral ceremony that was held that same weekend due to the unknown of whether the mom would make it to the actual wedding stating a request for a full refund in the hopes to help our family & friends with money. The response back was almost laughable if it wasn't so heartless: "Good Morning, No further refund will be issued and I have reviewed your email carefully. Your bus was held for you, and it could have been rented to others, which caused a loss in potential business to us. This matter is closed and we wish you the best moving forward. Thank you, Dawn " my response: Dawn, Thank you for your well wishes and thoughts for the family throughout this time Sorry you lost maybe $2000. We might be losing a loved one within the next few days. Have a great day! & finally, my favorite part, the response back: "I would suggest that you concentrate what precious time you have with your loved one, vs continued pursuit of this matter. You have a great day also, Dawn" That was the first acknowledgment of the bride's mom throughout the ENTIRE ordeal of our situation & THAT was the response. Basically at this point we don't care about the money. Just know if you book with platinum, they have zero regard for you, your friends or family unless you're putting money in their pockets. https://www.today.com/health/ohio-couples-holds-impromptu-wedding-local-hospital-so-mom-fighting-t220997 here is a link to some insight into how incredible & strong Taura is, how beautiful & resilient her daughter Carley is & how incredible #TauraStrong really is. Right now we are looking at numbered days. Any and all prayers are welcome. Sorry for the long review. Platinum customer service is trash.

We were lucky we didn't get stuck in Times Square Saturday night with the flat tire, we'd probably still be there! Our driver Al was the BEST! You should see the way he drove in Manhattan with all the traffic and pedestrians. He could maneuver our coach down a one way street between a parked catering truck and a big box truck! Russ our tour guide was fabulous as well. Very personable, informative and all around fun. Once I recover from this trip I'm going to look up another destination with this duo. Personally, I give this tour a 11/10. They went above and beyond. Thank you Al, Russ and Great Day Tours!

They were on time and were able to provide us with a large 55 passenger bus which was great to transfer a lot of people at once. In the world of wedding where anytime you put the word wedding in it the price increases by 3x, Great day was really well priced compared to any other transportation company I spoke with. They were quick to respond and flexible to changes of location as wedding plans evolved. My friends also used them and had a good experience as well. Only 1 negative was at the end of the night going back to the hotel the radio was not working so that kinda put a damper on things but lucky in today's age we have phones and played music on our phones to help keep the party rolling. I would highly recommend.
