They had a drive up, stand alone ATM so I got my cash and was happy as far as that goes. I had asked for directions to the nearest Chase location when I was at the Verizon store. There was a local business owner that was able to direct me to where I needed to go because he said he went there every day. As a long time Columbus customer, I am use to the service and ammenities they offer in Columbus that I did not find here. 1. In Columbus, most stand alone Chase banks have at least two ATM's if not three or more, at least one in the drive through, possibly a stand alone, and one that is inside or as a walk up. At this location I saw three lanes in the drive thru and not one ATM there, as they had a stand alone and an exterior after hours drop off center n(not an ATM but I appreciate as a fellow business owner. 2. They need better signage on the road and possibly an ATM arrow sign in their parking lot to direct you around the bank to the stand alone, drive up. If I had not been given directions I would have pulled into the Bob Evans next door as I was turning left into the bank parking lot. The guy at the Verizon store, not a verizon employee, said they needed a remodel and I agree as I like the way they do their branches in Columbus better than up here. I have two cars insured through Ed since last 3+ years. No issues until now. Two weeks back, I was…read moretravelling out of the state (Nevada, Utah). I rented a car and called and just before starting the travel i called Ed's office to confirm if rental car insurance (Liability, Collision and Roadside) is covered under my primary insurance. Agent named Michael talked to me. He said no, nothing is covered under my current insurance. Since he asked me to hold the phone to check the information, and also did not sound confident, I asked several questions just to make sure he knows what he is saying. I said, my previous insurance company covered so and so, are you sure. He said, no that is not covered. Eventually, I needed to take the car back to airport, wait in the line to cancel my existing rental contract, go for new contract and pay additional ~$325 for insurance + roadside. My family (wife, 2yrs old, 7 yrs old) kept waiting in car for me to finish all procedures. I sasted 4 important hours out of my travel time (you can imagine 2 yr old's situation sitting in car while I am taking care of business). When I came back to home, I just wanted to cancel the policy and go for the one that covers rental car insurance. Now when I called Ed's office the answers are changed. Yes, they do cover rental car insurance. Came apologies. Jason (manager) said Michael is new so he gave wrong answers but "we can not do anything to compensate my loss". Apologies. Simple...! And the best part is.. I don't have any other option than accepting apologies, accepting monitory loss, time loss, accept mental pain to me and my family. Hope new guy Michael learned lesson on my cost.

Third Federal did not make things easy for me by refusing to update the address of ONE statement…read morethat is mailed to an address where the family house was just sold. Instead, they told me not to be concerned because the account is closed and the mail will just be returned to the USPS!! They suggested I go to the post office and request address forwarding INSTEAD of them simply updating the address on that particular statement. I have a few larger accounts at this bank and now I'm going to be open to other banks that work with me better. They are absolutely ridiculous! I'm tired of just accepting this level of treatment. There is too much competition to deal with this.
