1000 Island KOA in Henderson, NY. I had read a ton of mixed reviews. We pulled in on Saturday. Wow, what a property. The water is absolutely beautiful. Their boat ramp and marina is top notch. Great for boating and fishing. Camp sites are gravel and most of the fire areas are so so. Lots of interior site, but the money sites are the water front sites. There are several and they are worth the extra money. Site were designed for Motorhomes to pull in so you have a view of the lake, very nice. They have sewer hook ups on both sides so you can pull or back in if you have TT. The breeze off the lake is amazing. Staff has been very friendly and talked to a few people who have been coming here for years and they said the new KOA management is making several improvements. I would recommend and plan on coming back some time in the future.

This is the water we could not use.

If you have a reservation or are planning on camping at Sun Outdoors Association Island, I would highly recommend canceling! Managers came around telling everyone that had waterfront sites that we couldn't sit 5 feet past our fire pit and couldn't sit along the water or have our chairs in the water. We could not even swim or float off our sites! We could kayak but had to exit the water immediately when done. This rule is not posted ANYWHERE. This decision was being imposed by the managers after two other campers had a disagreement amongst themselves and complained to management. So instead of dealing with the problematic campers, the managers decided to punish the entire campground. Needless to say, after one night of our three night reservation, we cancelled the remainder of our trip and went to Long Point State Park where the sites are just as beautiful and we CAN access the water from our sites! We also had a reservation for August that we cancelled. We paid more money for a premium water front site that we couldn't even use! Association Island has lost the return business of many campers who agree that this decision is RIDICULOUS over this.

One of my top 3 campground. The view tells it all. You won't be let down here. The sites on the water are large and private. Beautiful views sunrise to sunset. Not really a lot to do around the area except relax and enjoy. Sackets harbor is just down the road with plenty of things to do if that's what your looking for

    Beautiful sunsets on Henderson Bay.

Stayed at Association Island July 20-23, 2015. This campground really has potential to be a great recreational vacation spot. Due to the lack of ground care at campsites, knee hi grass that poses as is a breeding ground for bugs and mosquitoes. Excessive mosquitoes. It was uncomfortable to be outside at your campsite. We stayed here in 2007, we rated it much higher at that time.

Yes, it's completely accessible and the parking lot at the marina has plenty of room. An unusual "birdcage" light stands atop the two story building with a focal height of 50 feet. Most other lighthouses were "modernized" but this one avoided that fate as it was due to be decommissioned at the time. A local purchased it from the government and it has since been restored. It remains an active navigational aid in addition to being a hotel / AirBNB. [Review 1552 of 2024 - 468 in New York - 22575 overall]

First week of November when 90% places in Pulaski are vacant because season is over. Owner asked if we can cancel Airbnb deal and pay him directly And for some reason directly is more expensive for ~ $140.00 ( taxes etc he said ) so total was $700.00 Unfortunately water in river stays high for weeks in November 2021 so decided to reschedule for next year and just keep $700 as a credit. This year contacted the owner and dates we wanted were booked ( actually available on Airbnb ) and he offered refund . Received the check for $200!!!! Owner states that is the policy and other bs.so basically lost $500 and ton of time. I've been using places in Pulaski for over 10 years and they all much much cheaper and client friendly.

This year, we decided to transition from renters to owners, and so we bought a Mastercraft NXT20 from Len's. I've got to say---I can't imagine a better purchasing experience! The team at Len's really has this process dialed, and made it very clear and easy for my wife and I to know and understand all the steps (and the timeline of those steps) leading up to our taking possession of the boat. Everyone at Len's was so helpful and responsive, and even now that the purchase is over and done we feel a tremendous level of support from the Len's team in the continuing care and maintenance of the NXT. Len's make you feel like you're their only customer...marrying excellent customer service with professional competence. Needless to say, we are now loyal Len's customers...a loyalty and trust earned over almost a decade of great experiences. Many thanks to Sean, Dave, Fraser, Bonnie, Timmy, and everyone else at Len's for everything you do...we feel so lucky to have found you guys!

We did a lot of research last summer into the type and model of Boat we wanted. When spending close to 200K, it is a big investment so we did our homework. Our new Boat was ordered through Lens Cove directly from the Factory. Throughout the process Lens Cove staff and the Barletta factory staff were very helpful and quick to answer our numerous questions. I want to extend a special thank you to Megan Malette, Dave Loney and Nathan Horsfall from Lens Cove. They both went above and beyond throughout the buying process. From the initial consultations on colour, to the back and forth on the options to the day our boat was delivered, we would not be happier. I would highly recommend both Lens Cove Marina and Barletta for your next luxury boat purchase! Denis & Ingrid Patry Ottawa
